      Fucking same. They love how convenient and docile and obedient we are until we're old enough to suffer socially, then when we relate more to our teachers than our peers and make good connections in school they're so proud of our grades, and then the second we turn 18 and choose a path in life that isn't dictated by obedience to their whims, it just completely shocks and offends them. Convenient children aren't healthy children.

    My friend's brother absolutely qualifies. He's 22 now, but when I knew that family, my friend was freaking terrified of his brother (let's call him Clayton). Clayton has something very wrong with him, as he beats up his oldest younger brother (He has three, but the oldest of them, my friend, always took the brunt of it), tries to stab his family in the middle of the night, and a few other, more NSFW, things I'd rather not mention. His father worked 3 jobs, his mother was too busy protecting and raising the younger brothers to care about my friend and Clayton. My friend joined the army at 18 to get away from it all, which opened a new can of worms. Without his physical and emotional punching bag, Clayton targeted the next kid in line, which finally made his family realize what was going on. However, instead of getting him help, they DISOWNED him. He turned to drugs and theft to survive since his reputation prevented him from getting a driver's license and a job, and now serves a 15 year combined sentence for s**ual assault, drug possession (methamphetamine), and burglary.

    Last OP: I know it's not the same person but this guy reminds me of one of my acquaintances I know who has some very serious issues and violent tendencies but he works on them. Said acquaintance recognizes he has issues and will eventually accept criticism, some criticisms will take a long time to register but then he does realize that it's valid. I've sometimes had to tell the guy to cool it and have had to talk to our teacher about his behavior once but I still respect him for at least trying to get better. He really truly does his best to get better even if he has a really hard time. For some people, being a good person is a bit more difficult, it doesn't necessarily mean they want to be bad people it's just that they need help. I have a lot of respect for people who have succeeded in becoming a significantly better person than they used to be.

    My older brother, sister, and myself are all the “monsters” in a way. We are black and was raised poor. My sister when her brain is left in idle, engages in conversation so personal it’s like she majored in psychology. But she says and ask things that will break your spirit. She’s also a liar to the point where she genuinely believes her own lies and it typically rewrites how she remembers situations. My brother was a bully. Before I was born my brother and sister couldn’t wait for a little brother or sister they was excited when my mother went into labor with me. Months after I was born my brother tried to push me down a flight of 30 stairs in my walker. They fought each other daily(literally punches through bloody noses) to see who got to be in charge of me just to beat me up if I didn’t do what they wanted. The only time they were on the same page was when they were making fun of me because I wasn’t like them. We grew up in the projects and I was literally the only kid in the neighborhood that talked “white”. When I was in second grade my sister used to design clothes and would force me to wear them and stuff the shirt and pants then make me walk up the street and a guy almost kidnapped me(I’m a guy btw). My brother shot me in the ass with a pellet gun. The pellet ripped through my school pants and broke skin. I’m a “monster” because though I’m ashamed to admit it but human life has never meant much to me and the no step between fighting and murder. I personally believed that if it’s retaliation for revenge then it’s justified. In second grade kids use to brawl during recess in a second grade vs third grade war. I have asthma and kid kicked me in the stomach. As I cried falling to the ground I saw a red sharp piece on metal. I immediately stopped crying and ripped it out the ground it was the length of a butcher knife and I bent the end to wrap around my hand and chased the kid while smiling and the teacher stopped me. In 5th grade I was fighting a kid and he hit me on the head with his cleats and made me bleed so I broke a beer bottle that was on the ground and chased him with it before the ppl in the barbershop came and grabbed me. In 6th grade my brother’s friend gave me a revolver to walk from his house to mine after he cut my hair. The only thing that stopped me from taking it to school is the fact that I knew I could beat all the ppl who bullied me in a fight. As an adult I talked to my sister and she said that she thought if it wasn’t for video games she thought I’d be a mass shooter. My friends even told me that they thought I was “the quiet” kid. Shit kinda hurts but not anymore.

    When I was in high school I was misdiagnosed with bipolar and put on a mood stabilizer which just made me angry all the time. One day I was riding in a vehicle sitting next to my friends bratty little brother who kept elbowing me thinking it was funny. I elbowed him back not even close to how hard he did and he immediately started crying that I hit him. Out of nowhere this monster like voice came out of me saying, "I didn't hit you!" His mom normally would automatically take his side whether or not he was telling the truth just started laughing (probably somewhat nervous laughter) because it was so out of character for me. Needless to say I got off that medication as soon as possible.

  • @rileymcphee9429

    It bothers me we talk about serious behavioral disorders as the priority is understanding and tolerating what these kids are going through. Yes, we need to identify the sickness and get them help but that does not get to mask the pain and damage they have caused. People, mental illness or not, don't grow without consequence and the running theme in these stories is the lack thereof until the kids are big enough to do serious injury and then the parents just capitulate.
    Too often I hear this coming from the enablers of these unmedicated monsters as if the world that's shocked and hurt by these people are the real problem. "If you had compassion or love for them, you'd forgive and understand them", no if you had compassion or love for them, you'd hold them accountable and get them help while showing them the damage they've inflicted to everyone around them.

    My brother. He was a monster growing up. It started in his "Me and myself on my own" age. The phase when kids want to put their clothes on themselves, put the christmas tree decorations before anyone else, eat by themselves and wanting to do things on their own and in some cases hate being picked up. He used to scream at people eating too loud or singing, playing an instrument (we had a pianos and flutes all around the house) broke things, hit people and sometimes broke doors to go to hit people if they made a sound. The most memorable moments that come to mind were when he had stabbed all of our house's doors so we needed to get new ones (we still have some of them in place), when he chased my sister with scissors and when he hid in the toilet when he had fought (very violently) with someone and my dad broke the bathroom door to get him to go outside to cool off. He caused our parents so much trauma that though he is now so much better my mom has these breakdowns where she is super angry and starts hating everything in our home. Yells about chores we haven't completed and then starts ranting about life and how she has messed up as a parent because we aren't doing good on school. Then she goes to another room and starts crying. I used to go and comfort her but it happens now less and the episodes are shorter but I've became very anti-social and unemotional so I just try to give her warnings when she's having an episode that she should sit down and shot ranting, that she needs to get her head straight and think of the facts and not fall into pessimism. I maybe a jerk for that but I think I'm genuinely unable to be an emotional support anymore

    Camping is fun but I guess I was born before parents stopped raising their kids and candy crush and tictok started raising everyone's kids. It's kinda pathetic how this new generation doesn't know how to function in the REAL world just because of lazy "parents"

    • @MemristerBoogieDown
      @MemristerBoogieDown 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      So what you’re saying is the ones who raised this current generation of parents really should’ve done a better job?
      I mean if this generation’s shortcomings fall on their parents, then this generation’s parents can blame their own parents, correct? And they can blame theirs and they can blame theirs into infinity.
      So what you’re saying is…You really should’ve done a better job raising your kids so that they could raise your grandkids better. I agree.

    • @amazingspiderlad
      @amazingspiderlad 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Technology is not the reason some kids are badly behaved. It's just the latest thing that gets blamed. Before that it was video games, before that it was TV, before that it was rock and roll music.

    God.. i remember a funny story. 😂
    When i was 5-7, i was a little devil. I remember manipulating my entire family using their emotions, telling them school forced me to do that, that certain guy did that, and i even targetted one of my friends and/or neighbor. Told my entire family he was bullying me and using violence, then my father, who knows his, told his father that he was bullying me. Worked like a charm, since he almost lost everything he had, i just stopped in time.
    Regrets? No, i can't change the past, so why hold regrets?
    Proudly? Sort of, since i was just 5-7 and i manipulated an entire generation and another one.

    Ugh all these terrible ppl, all these mentally unstable souls that are roaming the earth, tormenting those who will not retaliate -& they rarely get punished cuz they’re cray cray😳. The kids that harm animals, you are heinous individuals and I only hope animals stay away from you!! Your parents should’ve never spawned some of you! Maybe had your parents waterboarded you you wouldn’t have continued harming animals! This is a great PSA on being child free 😂😂
