I have been running the street basis z series for about 2 months. I combined it with skunk2 and energy suspension parts. What a difference over stock! Crisp and smooth without being too stiff. Handles like a dream now. I actually need better seats now because the cornering is super flat. The stock seats don't have enough side bolstering to keep me centered. I recommend TEIN for sure.
Running tein Super Street Fully Adjustable coilovers on my mr2 in LA for about a year now. Nothing negative to say. Love them and how they ride, just make sure you get them properly adjusted and installed. $1600 and totally worth it. 🤙🏼
When I was running in the SCCA they had the best reps at the track. Even if you weren't in their sponsorship program but ran their coilovers they would help with custom valving and setup.
Ive been running tein suspension as of a couple months ago and i love how close the suspension feels to oem. I bought the Street Advance Z system and been loving it since with its dampening. Would recommend tein as a cost effective suspension if your looking to only use it for street use
When you adjust the height on those does it mean you're changing preload?

The funny part of Dampachi is the fact they got male and females dampers. I got the Dampachi keychain hanging from my Subaru car keys.
I have since swapped my springs to their Tein lowering springs on my Crosstrek. And i am surprised they feel OEM while dropping the ride height without much changes to the ride comfort.
10/10.
Will go for the full coilovers set next.

I've been riding around on Tein S Tech Lowering Springs, for 3 months now and so far it's good. I only wish they gave a more aggressive ride height drop I ended up buying Tein Springs, for an 03-08 Corolla, because the one for the 09-11 Corollas, gives you a mild drop. 1.5 inch drop at the Front and 1.8 inch drop at the Rear whereas the 03-08 Corolla, Tein S Tech Lowering Springs, gives you a 2.3 inch drop at the Front and 2.4 inch drop at the Rear my car still isn't low enough for my liking, so next year I'll be purchasing a set of BC Racing Coilovers, Extreme drop. I'm all about the Slammed Static Stance look

Love tein! Quality is awesome and the durability of their suspension systems are beyond comparisons for the price.
I heard about tein full suspension coilovers 20yrs ago before I heard and seen other brands full suspension coilovers like bc,jic,tanabe,d2,fortune auto and etc.

These guys know threir stuff, got my hands on some jdm superstreets, coundnt be more satisfied now my car rides better than stock its comfy it handles you would never know it didnt come out the factory like this

We have them! We just haven't gotten a car to review them.
I don't get how the guys that made this vid don't even know that tein opened a factory in China couple years ago to build their lower end coil overs, IE basis z , to be more competitive with the current market. Tein owns and runs the factory to keep quality in check. I have the basis z and they're great. I'm starting to question the info in their videos
As much as I wanna guess about doors, I'd actually like to ask some questions. Quick disclaimer, I'm no car guy, more of a fledgling really. What tire size would you recommend for an NA Miata? I'm planning on getting 15x6's and was thinking 205/50's would work/look alright. Not sure though
well it all depends the look you're going for!
Fitment Industries, Well I was thinking of making is look sleek/sporty but practical. Not too low and no stance. I was going to dress up the ol' miata to have the 50's look, kinda. First with smoothies/baby moons and whitewalls but I can't seem to find whitewalls in 205/50, only 205/60 and 195/75 for the 15 inchers. The smallest I've seen on your site is 205/70 with a B temp rate, the Cooper Trendsetters. I push the little miata up to about 120~ mph every now and again so I guess I want form and function and I don't know if going that fast'll burst the tires or something because temperature.

Coming from the chicagoland, my tein coils have been handling these shitty roads pretty decent so far. Plus they feel/look quality for their price, def vouch for tein

So on my second set Tein (08 ISF) as I thought the first went to shit on a fluke... Second set went to shit after just 11 weeks of driving. 3 of the 4 are saturated with fluid just like the first set. Looks like im gonna get screwed by Tein on any warranty but really my fault for trusting in the product for a second go, which I never do. Lesson re-learned I guess and yes both sets were professionally installed by two different shops.
