    BUYER BEWARE: Struts were missing a nut and a collar. Adrian from TEIN refused to replace them. They claim it was shipping damage, but they can't prove that they even put them on the strut because they should have been screwed onto the shaft like the others. Shame, literally costs them pennies to replace and they refused on a brand new set of struts.

    You could have went over the differences in how the height is adjusted. Like why a threaded shock body is better or worse than a non threaded shock, and how they effect travel and preload.

    i just installed GSL90-9USS2 Tein Street Advance Z Coilover for my Lexus IS250,
    it was the best coilover i’ve ever used😳😳
    so smooth and comfortable
    after my Rev9 coilover blew, never going cheap again on coilovers
    Tein is the Best

    I love my Flex Z's for my 2nd gen gs300! Once I got my height, dampening, and alignment dialed in they ride so smooth with a stiffness that's BARELY noticeable until you really use the car going around a corner.

    I want less bodyroll in corners than with stock suspension. Would the Basis Z be enough for that?

  • @sotamods-TMH

    Can you tell me if there are any interchangeable springs for the Adv. Z for the Altezza? The springs are the same as the ones from the Basis Z and are soft as f**k and though the 16 step damping of the dampers works quite well the kit is still TOO SOFT. Unfortunately my supplier/seller is a useless and unreliable guy and doesn't give me any support in that case :(
    I also installed front and rear strut bars but while cornering simple on the road the car is still swaying like a 20 year old sofa :(
    I guess the springs from the Flex Z kit have different diameter and I'm not sure if any springs from an Aristo kit would fit or make any difference.
    So I'm desperately looking for help!

    Woa awesome prices! I’ll be ordering the flex ... thank you so much because I was wondering what the difference between them was ... I had the street advance coils plus Skunk2 rear camber arms + front camber bolts on my 2014 si coupe ... now I just traded it for a 4 door 2013 si turbo on stock suspension 😝 lol ... and I liked my street advances but I’m trying to make my suspension even better this time around
    I had no clue the flex were made in Japan with better materials! So thanks 🙏 I hope they are even better

    One question .. are you supposed to order shocks with the coilovers too? Or are the flex coils enough. Thank you. - 2013 si

      When you buy from Redline360, these coilovers come with all 4 shocks and all 4 springs, it's a full setup.

    I just got the flex-z Teins for my Scion tC. I'm so excited to have them on my ride. I will update this comment once they are on. Redline360, big suggestion, when shipping suspension, use better packaging please. Couple deep paint scuffs on the springs themselves from shipping. Box they came in looked like it was rolled down a hill and thrown in the truck. Obviously not your fault, but better packing would help.

    My manuel says the Flex Z is for off road use and not for Public roads.. so is it not safe for the streets? Thanks

  • @Rafaellasvegas
    @Rafaellasvegas 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @redline360 I want to lower my car, so the street basis z makes sense..however i noticed there is a difference in how much you can slam it with the street basis compared to the Flex Z. Not sure why that was done ;_; since I would like the option of going as low as possible. Guess i'll be looking at the Flex Z... dang it

    I heard you can't go as low with the Basis Z, is that true?

      Check out our site: shop.redline360.com and search for your car. We show the lowering ranges for each one.

    I cant believe how Redline 360 site is set up...How do you not have the option to enter the type of vehicle then show related parts?? You expect customers to actually sit there and rifle thru god knows how many listings until we hopefully find the part? You are losing BIG MONEY!

    • @Redline360
      @Redline360  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We’re working on a shop by car feature now. But it’s easy, just search for your model and the part. For example, Accord Tein Basis. It’ll come up quick.
      But do appreciate the feedback, we are working on that.
