Every single person that was interviewed in the video has previous experience of being addicted to drugs. The first two are people who are currently going through the drug rehabilitation program. The next two are people who have become facilitators after successfully passing the program. The final person is the head of the organization, and she started the program because of her past/history with drug addiction. I hope that helps you to understand their situations better.
