This episode kinda reminded me of that time (Crisis on Infinite Earths, i think?) when Barry ran so fast that he became the lightning bolt that gave him his powers. My prediction? Wally and Jesse fend off zoom till the finale, when Barry races against the Black Flash, and "comes home" to Iris, who acts like his lightning rod.

I think Barry will think of Iris (his lightning rod so to speak) because he knows 100% that he "has someone to come home to". I did not expect them to make Barry disappear into the Speedforce yet though, I was expecting that to be a later season. Just goes to show how great a show can be when the writers respect the source material. (Looking at you Arro- sorry, "Felicity and Friends")

I think it's leaning towards Earth 2 Henry Allen being the man in the Iron Mask and the real Jay Garrick, we did see him when Barry was running to Earth 2 for the first time as well.
If you re-watch the original video from when he was on arrow and when he got his powers it did seem like the explosion from the particle accelerator didn't really hit him as much as the one in this video it was more the lightning and chemicals originally and I think the mass explosion at the end of this is what went wrong
Basically, Flashes first transaction with the speed force was a siphoned off energy blast.this alone allowed him to travel time.Now,his second time around he was at the epicenter of the explosion.i literally can't imagine his speed.infact I think he might struggle to contain his speed once he returns.
in the next episode Cisco is showing using his powers to locate Barry inside the speed force. So maybe he'll use his powers to tear a hole in the speed force large enough for Barry to see and run through and escape while the speed force tries to hold him inside?
I'm now very sure that the man in the iron mask is Barry Allen. This explosion did dematerialize him but also made him a "time remnant", perhaps by merging him with the speed force, and Zoom captured and imprisoned this remnant to continue leeching and to get faster.

yea cisco is awesome, one of my favorite characters in all of t.v. right now. althought not gonna lie he doesnt get annoying sometimes with his constant one liners and pop culture references. like sometimes his acting is kinda cringy. its funny too cus he made a joke in a previous episode about the bad acting in the transformers movies but I could totally see his style of acting being perfect for a transformers movie. either way I still really enjoy his character but I wish he would tone it down sometimes cus he tends to get annoying every once awhile.

I think that Wallie is going to become the flash because he gets struck by lightning and in the comics Wallie west is meant to be a speedster so I think when he finds out he got powers of the flash he will use it to defeat zoom and get Barry's speed , I also feel that the man in the iron mask is another flash from another universe (earth 3 for example)

The season finale episode is going to be entitled "The Man In The Iron Mask". I am expecting this episode to explain that there is a Zoom/Hunter Zolomon and Jay Garrick connection. The confusing part is that the man in the iron mask was being held captive before any of the breaches opened so this Jay Garrick has to be from Earth Two. If Henry Allen of Earth Two has a grandfather or uncle named Jay Garrick then I believe that he is the man in the iron mask and an elder of Barry. Hunter Zolomon took on the persona of Jay Garrick for a reason and that reason has everything to do with Barry. In what way? Thats going to be the shocker. Im getting goosies.
I think Kid flash and Jess Quick are gonna fight zoom in earth 2 where they will save the man in the masks who is Jay Garrick which is Henry Allan flash just younger and they all fight zoom and open a rift in the speed force to allow Barry to come back

Theyre gonna spend the next few episodes getting barry back whilst jessie and wally are in a coma, then in the finale they will get barry back, jessie and wally will wake up and they will all team up and 3v1 zoom's ass
My theory is that Wally and Jesse will turn back in time with their speed and save barry and lose their power or there will be some crazy shit and the 3 of them will have powers

I dont think Barry is dead +Akasan after looking at the trailer for the next episode Barry seems to be trapped in the Speedforce. I would like to comment on the Garrick name. The season finale episode is going to be entitled "The Man In The Iron Mask". I am expecting this episode to explain that there is a Zoom/Hunter Zolomon and Jay Garrick connection. The confusing part is that the man in the iron mask was being held captive before any of the breaches opened so this Jay Garrick has to be from Earth Two. If Henry Allen of Earth Two has a grandfather or uncle named Jay Garrick then I believe that he is the man in the iron mask and an elder of Barry. Hunter Zolomon took on the persona of Jay Garrick for a reason and that reason has everything to do with Barry. In what way? Thats going to be the shocker. Im getting goosies.

I think Kid flash and Jess Quick are gonna fight zoom in earth 2 where they will save the man in the masks who is Jay Garrick which is Henry Allan flash just younger and they all fight zoom and open a rift in the speed force to allow Barry to come back

I hate cliffhangers but I admit if they are executed correctly they can be good bit it wouldve been such a cop out cus everybody knows he wasnt dead. fans are getting really tired if the fake death crap. they did it on arrow, the walking dead, game of thrones, etc. that gimmick is getting really old and really all it is is a cheal cop out to get you to tune into the next season. all you gotta do to get your fans to come back for next season is keep making great tv and knocking it out of the park with unique, interesting storylines.
