I love villains like Zoom. Evil, Menacing, No Remorse, Incredibly deep in Darkness. Not to mention his suit, the way his lightning constantly sparks and generates, and his Speedster Voice. Zoom could've been some faceless Demon from hell who wasn''t Hunter Zolomon and I'd still love him. I never found him scary but when he's present the mood always turns dark, he did a better job of being Dark than Savitar and Reverse Flash could ever. Reverse Flash may forever be a thorn in Barry's side but Zoom did a hell of a job for a one time Big Bad.
Yep, zoom was the most evil and darkest villian then reverse flash as he wanted to destroy the multiverse and rule the earth . And killed so many people and he was worse then Diaz because he has powers that made him more dangerous then him.

Zoom will aways be the most monstrous pure evil villian in the flash and his design and costume was the most epic then reverse flash and he was like a living thunderstorm. He wanted to destroy the multiverse except earth 1 before anti monitor did. This makes him far worse then thawne is and thawne is overused.

My favorite detail is that Zoom is constantly generating blue lightning around him, even when he isn’t using his speed. Showing his unstable nature, Mentally and Physically with the unstable Velocity 9.
It also gives him more of an intimidating air, like his body is constantly pulsing with energy and power, really making you question if he;s actually human or not.
2x6 is probably my favorite episode, not just of The Flash, but probably every show I've ever watched. The absolutely brutal beating Zoom gave Barry. Dragging him around like a ragdoll, showing how powerless everyone was to stop him. Made the audience feel hopeless too. It's just perfect.
I love remembering times when The Flash was actually fun show to watch. First 2 seasons are arguably the best. It's only been going downhill since then.

He wasn't only faster and more powerful, but possessed the true instincts and speech patterns of a merciless killer and bloodthirsty demon all in one while carefully adjusting every situation he was in as both Zoom & Jay Garrick. Always knowing EXACTLY what to say in the most terrifying way before letting his actions make his intentions as clear as a shiny blade. Earlier seasons with well written villains like him are what made the show so good and famous.

I am rewatching to show my respect to Tony Todd who sadly passed away. Zoom was my favorite role of his. His voice acting for zoom was amazing. He made zoom in my opinion the best villain in the show. Rest in peace Tony Todd you will be miss but never forgotten😭

I watched this video in honor of Tony Todd. I absolutely love his menacing voice for Zoom, as well as The Fallen. Similar to Kevin Michael Richardson's Trigon and Gaul. (I also love speedsters too btw and Zoom certainly is) RIP. I love how some of these scenes are just him talking with the Tony Todd voice even though his mask is off. Which is perfect. He was awesome.

In the comics... zoom was actually in the yellow suit... and in the tv series they didn't give him the finger snap sonic boom which was one of the coolest things about zoom. But still... loved the tv series.
Mostly because in the comics, Hunter was not a speedster, but rather a man who harnessed a portion of the Forever Force. Yes, the same Forever Force that he harnessed later as the True Flash, but at full potential this time.
And yet, Hunter is also a "Reverse-Flash", though Zoom's moniker actually suits him better than Thawne. Mostly because it's from his name (also partially Reverse-Flash in the comics) that Hunter Zolomon became Zoom. And that's not a pun. He really scratched the l, o and n of his last name to have his moniker. Also that : 25:35

Reverse Flash is my favorite villain of the show but Zoom is probably the best. His design and being voiced by Tony Todd make him a standout and the blue lightning looks really cool.

The blur of motion, the way the camera shakes every time they get too close, Barry darting in and out while Zoom is distracted, the smoothness of the lightning trails, yet the otherwise minimal SFX. Compared to the shit that they did with godspeed? Oof. It's disappointing how much the quality has dropped.

In the comics... zoom was actually in the yellow suit... and in the tv series they didn't give him the finger snap sonic boom which was one of the coolest things about zoom.
But still... loved the tv series.
Mostly because in the comics, Hunter was not a speedster, but rather a man who harnessed a portion of the Forever Force. Yes, the same Forever Force that he harnessed later as the True Flash, but at full potential this time.
Same this is the best season ever and it made me love this show particularly zoom being a top g

Camera angles are a strong point in the early seasons. Even an underwhelming story can be good when the presentation is outstanding.
And yet, Hunter is also a "Reverse-Flash", though Zoom's moniker actually suits him better than Thawne. Mostly because it's from his name (also partially Reverse-Flash in the comics) that Hunter Zolomon became Zoom. And that's not a pun. He really scratched the l, o and n of his last name to have his moniker.
