Looks like your off to a good start one thing to check for are grounds that may be corroded I look forward to the next one I followed you with the XJS as that is my car I drive daily best regards Andy Allen
@@LowTechGarage Looking forward to this. I don't know much about Jags except they look good and apparently break down a lot. Gotta say though, that battery in the boot is a great feature; easy to diagnose and change. And does it have a timing chain? Because I am not a fan of timing belts.
So i did conneted the positive and negative terminals for the ecu reset and it worked but now radio went silent and dsp and subwoofer options dissappeared from the screen any idea if it needs to be reprogrammed?

Thanks for the tip on the grounds, I will definitely inspect and clean all of those!
You should give up,
and sell me those rear seat window curtains. 😁
Oops, nevermind, the handles on yours are gone too 😂
Plenty of work left to do to make it MINT!
Be glad it isn't timing chains. This will be great to see fixed.
Thanks! one of the perks of a 4.2. Chains are more of a rare issue.

Do you have access to the SDD software? It sounds like you may need to reflash that module.
@@LowTechGarage I tried the good Ole fashion unplug and replug the battery again, and worked lol thank you.
14 min to see a man change a battery. I'll never get that time back unfortunately.
The park brake message will probably go away once you drive it for sometime.
I hope so, right now it won’t actuate. I’m going to try and reflash the module. I have a suspicion the motor mechanism is broken
Please, enough of the dancing hand, so irritating!!! Great vid tho.
