I do agree that it is all about putting thoughts into actions. A man can say a lot of things but at the end of the day, words are cheap. A man who really is capable of being in a relationship and SUSTAINiNG a healthy relationship will SHOW you through his actions.
My ex met my needs, did things for me that no other man has done then turned around and dumped me for someone else. So I’m kinda having a hard time believing any guy I meet has true intentions with me.

I wish I had these kind of videos when I was your age. I'm 38 and literally learning everything from scratch after decades of messy dating and relationships. I know exactly what ur talking about!!! I have done this in my relationships and I love doing it! But my last relationship which lasted 2 yrs started out on the wrong foot pretty much rt from the start.... we had been together about 6 mo by the time Christmas and my birthday (dec 19th) rolled around and I was curious to see how much it would mean to him to get my presents to me on time... it wasn’t actually about the presents themselves really cause he didn’t have much money but it was more about his loving concern to get them to me on time.... well... he put it off and put it off and finally waited til after Christmas to send to me....it disappointed me deeply cause he didn’t put forth much effort toward my gifts... contrary to him I could hardly wait to send his gifts to him cause I was so excited for him....
Trivial though it shows a lack of preparedness in the way of time. You hadn't even known one another long enough for all the expectations of lavishing so much attention and expense. Though it didn't have be all those things- but he probably didn't and couldn't afford all the expectations required so soon. Another case of the American principles of I need you to make me extra important, so soon. Six months is not enough time to have expectations. We are adults here, right. Excuse my naked opinion. It's just my own. Good luck.

Can you please do a video or podcast on how to have difficult conversations, what are the most important q’s to ask in order to reach clarity in an established relationship? Specifically if your partner seems to be on the avoidant side but “tries”. You can think you’re on the same page, but are you really?Things can get murky over time it seems. Thank you!
