Men's testosterone starts to tank in their 40's. Womens hormones including testosterone also tank. Both need it for healthy libido, and functionality. Not to mention, muscle tone, bone denisity and other health improvements. Seeing a Dr who specilizes in this really helps. Many finding their drive and functionality both increase substantially. Naturpathic Drs specialize in this. Diet is also huge, insulin resistance, too much sugar and carbs tanks our metabolic health, ties in to all of our hormonal health as well. Made a huge difference for my and others I know.
My libido, estrogen, pestosterone, testosterone etc NEVER tanked after menopause, so don't count on it. I am 72 and he is 68.... no blue pills either on his part. We are both healthy, energetic, sexual, loving human beings (along with every other compatibility) and our love in every way is phenomenal. 35 yrs married to a man who has '0' libido. Move on in life you'll love it!!

For men an women, men's is called andropause, I believe. I never experienced menopause because even as the hormones lowered I supplemented with them. It has kept my bone density, muscle tone, heart and other internal/external body in shape, slowing down the aging process, inside and out. I never got the night sweats or the hot flashes. My body although 71 chronicloical years looks closer to 50. I have a ton of energy, flexibility and libido. All good. Many suffer through this process but there is no need to, this therapy works. @@Kas33345 you are right, add to this late miracle first childbirth at 45, cesarian, right right after BANG menopause, husband's health tanked, my job tanked held on against harassment for 4 years, breakdown, husband's career tanked, brain haemorrhage stroke followed by anapjylactic shock grade 3, fall triple fracture, husband withdrew affection and became jealous of our child, so I didn't feel much like or able to f**k to put it crudely, he took it out on our little one by being violent, jealous and playing very scary mind games, which made my decision for me to leave .... no sex after childbirth actually the one or two attempts were sooo painful vaginally, not even a smear pap test was possible, divorce took 8 years, I recently met someone and when the moment came wde tried to make love, a success in terms of desire, a failure in terms of physiology, penetration hurt like some sadistic torture and I bled everywhere and couldn't walk for days afterwards, saw an Obs-Gynae yesterday who have me the very thing I'd obstinately refused for fear of taking after the stroke with its C Vasc risks (estrogen creams etc), reassured me that I don't have pelvic inflammatory disease just dry walls internally. So, I'm feeling like I love this person, and hoping after 15 years of solitude that my body will come back to me as a woman despite the leap in age since I last called "her" up!!

It is a natural form that compounding pharmacy's make based on your bloodwork. Each is specific to the individual. Not the one size fits all that MDs perscribe. As time went by my estrogen started to tank and my testosterone. My ND added those to my bio-identical perscriptions. By 65 I had a hesterectomy and all my hormones flat lined. Again, my ND tested and raised all 3. I still look like I am in my 50's and now 71. It does slow down the aging process both inside and outside the body. We all start to age when we loose our hormones. They have kept me fit and healthy over the years, and I have no intention of ever getting off of them. That and my Carnivore diet. Seek out a Naturopathic Dr who specializes in bio-identical hormone. FYI, men can do this too. My son's testosterone was lowering and his ND brought it back up with bioidentical testostorone.
