I'm 23 and with my first boyfriend for the last 2.5 years (met him on tinder too), I always felt unworthy of love because I also was the one who didn't get any attention from boys at school. It took me some time to gain confidence and trust in my relationship because I felt so unworthy, but I'm glad things turned out like they did, I found someone who gets me and is so kind, it feels like it was meant to be like this.

I'm 20 and got into my first relationship this past november. the thing is after that happens you'll have so many firsts- first holding hands with a boy, first kiss etc. If you had asked me even in july of this year if I thought that would happen for me I would say abolutely not. so don't worry about it, enjoy being single it's so fun

I recently turned 25, but I love watching your stuff. And we’re kinda close in age. I was also a late bloomer (I literally didn’t lose my virginity or start dating boys until I was 22. Didn’t kiss anyone until I was 17). But fast forward to now, a lot of girl who did get “all” the guys in high school are still dating around and dealing with the same drama and issues. I’m in a serious, committed relationship and getting engaged this year. I’ll be married before a lot of the “cool”/“pretty” girls in high school ✨
this is what I'm saying too. dating too young and a lot can lead to toxic cycles repeating over and over. I've learnt this lesson from my friends and sisters around me. better safe than* sorry yknow. and I honestly don't see anything wrong with being single especially when we're super young. our expectations upon ourselves are quite concerning.

I was more focused on school and stuff than a lot of my other friends. I did super well in school and now im really successful, I met someone when I graduated and hes successful too.

(This is for hetero couples) Basically men enjoy the persuit of the relationship and once you’re official/ once the girl shows she’s attached they start trying less and this stage normal makes or breaks the relationship

I got really lucky bc when I graduated high school, I was a chubby depressed 17yo with severe anxiety and I graduated in 2019. So no bfs or gfs in high school or even college. (or even now bc I still have anxiety) Covid landed half way through my freshman year of college and I was able to use quarantine to learn to love my personality bc for some reason I started to double down on my mental health first. I am now 22 and I started to work out actually this year and I’m just really glad I got lucky with falling in love with/being confident in my personality before I was ever confident in my body, but I will not lie… my depression made that easy for me, but now that I’ve figured that out I can focus on what my body needs or wants better! I took up yoga, Pilates, and lots of cardio bc I was actually bored at first, but now I genuinely enjoy how strong my body has gotten!

im fresh out of a breakup and struggling with self love a lot. we were together on and off for over a year. it wasnt very healthy and he put in minimal effort and i was constantly left feeling unloved and unwanted so i ended things. trying to cope with this massive hole left behind is something ive never had to do before and everyday feels like im stuck in a wave pool of emotions. learning to love myself without the validation from a s/o or even a person i like is so hard. i know that the breakup was the right decision but now that i am without the minimum love he showed it feels like i have nothing and will never have it again.
you making that decision shows that you have love for yourself. even though it hurts, you should feel proud of yourself for that! it's okay to feel all the emotions of the moment, and you can also keep in mind that time will heal. wishing you luck

I was only ever comfortable asking my mom things like this even though I do have two older sisters but was only close with one and didn’t feel comfortable enough to talk to her about it. omg, I relate sm to what u said in the beginning 😭 in high school anytime me and my friends would go out they would always get guys attention, and I would usually get ignored. and it made me feel really insecure, and I wanted to be validated by men so bad. I don't think like that anymore (I'm a freshman in college now) but I still get treated the same by guys though😭 it doesn't bother me as much anymore, bc I'm learning how to prioritize myself and love myself and have validation from myself.
