As a 23 year old there is one piece of advice I have for everyone younger than me:
I have felt a lot of pressure to have my first kiss, my first relationship and sex. I thought to myself "aaahh what if I get into university but I'm still a virgin", but honestly, no one cares! I've been in university for 4 years now and no one in my friend group would judge anyone for that. I realized the pressure was just made up by myself. I regret because I wanted to have sex as a 16 year old, so I did, and the guy I did it with later turned out to be abusive.

Advice from a someone who's a big sister: ditch the concept of finding "the one". Instead, reframe and try to find "one of them". There is no "one" person for you, there likely are several people in the world that you would be happy with. And if you are in a happy relationship, you've already found one of Them! It's important to be best friends first and in love second. Relationships are work, they are partnerships, they are about communication and building trust. If both of you can foster that in your relationship, you are with one of the good ones.

To add onto the kpop question, something that stopped me from having a negative relationship with it was to be real with myself and the face truth. Idols are physically smaller than me (bone structure wise) and i will never be able to be that small unless i want to put myself in harm. they are doing intense cardio almost everyday, have to watch what they eat and some of them have surgery to meet the standards set in SK. So there is no point in comparing myself because we are such different people. Always have and always will. And thats okay!
Also they have to stay underweight because cameras always have a wide lens on them that stretches your body so if you are a “ normal weight” then it will make u look fatter for lack of a better word on camera. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT is that their main job is to look good and be good at singing and dancing and they obviously have lots of help from professional makeup artists, to hair stylist and clothing stylist as well as plastic surgery and training for expressions. So being less attractive than them is extremely normal
Also lots of us Asians are just born on the smaller side, genetics
yes!! and even though many idols are talented, looks does obvi play a part in who debuts. its not that most koreans or even asians meet sk beauty standards... rather the truth is that companies only accept and debut people who do or who can be changed to fit the standard. kinda like you said, there's no point in comparing yourself to ppl who have been chosen and curated by professional entertainment companies.

i have been a kpop stan for 7 years now and i used to compare myself to idols too and it took me YEARS to stop this, like i wore colored lenses because most idols do, but i have green eyes already, or i felt the need to bleach my hair and dye it crazy colors often, i always tried to copy someone else....now i only take inspiration for makeup or outfits i can recreate for my daily life and i found things that i like and that suit me. and if i need some "fitness motivation" every now and then i never try to look at female idols pics, i only look at boy group members because that helps me to just see the pictures as a motivation to have a healthier lifestyle and give my everything in the gym (because i can't compare my body to a buff dude with broadest shoulders in the universe yknow)

i am so greatful for these girl talk videos you make as a teenager who has no knowledge on these topics " you litreally have saved me from making many mistakes ". but i have a opinion on the topic of toxic longterm friendships - so my bestfriend and i have been friends from over 9 years and whenever i was with her i constantly felt left out and whenever i told her any secrets the whole class would know about it the next day . i hated being friends with but i could not tell her that because i felt guilty and unsure i used to think that maybe its just me who is over reacting but about a year ago we got seperated due to changes in our classes and after being away from her and making new friends i realised our friendship was toxic and decided to confronting her about it she apologised and even cried ( i did too because i was thinking it maybe the end of our friendship even if it was toxic i still loved her cause i basicly grew up with her ) but then our classes rescheduled we got in the same class and she started to make improvements and ensuring i would never feel the way i used to and now we are still bestfriends to this day . basicly i think communication is the key even in friendships ' hope it helps'.
