Dear Carl, I'm writing to share my experience with the CMF 1, which I recently purchased. I’m from India and thought I'd offer some feedback to help make this impressive product even better. Display: The display quality is great; however, I noticed that quick scrolling sometimes causes the touch to glitch or select something unintentionally. It would be great if this could be refined. Speakers & Camera: The speakers sound good, and the camera does the job well for my needs. Dimensions: The phone feels a bit large for one-handed use, which can be challenging. UI & Software: The interface and software are outstanding. I appreciate that you’ve included the same software experience as your flagship models, and the monochrome look with interactive widgets is refreshing. It feels calm and intentional, not overly stimulating with bright colors. I love the clean control panel and the live speech caption feature-please maintain these aesthetics, as they’re truly distinctive. Accessories: Including a basic charger would make a positive difference, as competitors often include both a charger and a TPU case. This addition could sway buyers who consider the extra costs of separate accessories. Overall, I'm delighted with CMF 1. After a long time, I feel excited about using a smartphone that isn’t just another copy or overloaded with bloatware. Thank you for a unique experience! Warm regards, Snehil

I love how Nothing is reminiscent of peak modernism. The Bauhaus primary colors, the Vignelli inspired pattern on the 2a, the transparent back reminding us of the iconic SK4 by Dieter Rams. Modernism is old af but Nothing has made it fresher than ever before.
The important thing is to maintain your own vision of the products and the brand identity over time without selling yourself to the mainstream As many manufacturers in the electronics industry do
Missed opportunity to create something truly innovative (beyond the mere aesthetics) like a hot-swappable battery, modular internals, maybe even open-hardware, to create something like the Framework Laptop, really community driven which would have lasted for decades. Instead you built a phone with no NFC, removable backplate just as a design gimmick, not making the product more repairable and eco-friendly. Missed opportunity, to create a revolution, a nice piece of design though
Id love it but i am a bit scared about the openness so to say. is it fine using it during rain ? is it bad if it falls out of my pocket into a sandy sidewalk ?
Watching this on my Nothing Phone 2. Love the design language, but will wait for the next generation for a more settled down UX. Other than that, congratulations CMF and Nothing! 🎉

Because I had some hands-on with a regular nothing phone to an absolutely loved it. I wish them nothing but the best
Only 2 years of android updates and 3 years of security updates is not something I was expecting from Nothing/CMF in 2024. Even though, the phone 1 is targeted as more budget oriented smartphone, device's longevity is in question as if the device is not meant to last more than 3 years. Or if the users are compelled to make the switch and upgrade after 3 years? For me personally, I like the company's vision and their products very much. But the shortness in their software support is making me look for alternatives in market as I want to be a long-term customer who values security in software and don't have enough money (yeah, I'm broke /s) to make the switch every 3 years.

Awesome job guys!!! Keep them coming!
I see the see the nothing in going on the right way to be the biggest phones company 👏🥰
no way it will beat apple
Rather, it will be a big loser in the European Union, in Europe. This phone does not have NFC, which means that you cannot use it to make contactless payments. QR codes for payments are not popular in the EU.
The future of smartphone is here
Nothing is everything now
The CMF phone 1 cost ₹14,999 in India.
Nothing just does nothing wrong. Love your products 😊
179 dollars
You can buy a 2 year old Samsung phone that still has 2 years left of software updates
15,000₹!!!!!
I'm literally weezing with excitement right now, I DECLARE 'CMF PHONE 1' AS THE BEST SMARTPHONE UNDER 15K IN INDIA, NOW YOU KNOW I'M GONNA REXOMMEND THIS
Dear Mattia from the community team
I heard that accent from a Km away, Another reason to buy Nothing fellow italians
Bro I thought it was a phone from TEMU 😭😭
I've never seen a product this innovative in over a decade
I already leaked the price - 14999 india rupees with offer
I love y'all bro... The ui is soo good like the fonts and stuff is just makes y'all stand out.... Hope my mom gets me this cuz my current phone is becoming trashier every day :(........ I pray for y'alls success
Great design. Love the engineering look with the matt metal and screws. Much nicer than the glass and LEDs.
Why following apple and not giving an adaptor
Still no 3.5mm audio jack?
Id love it but i am a bit scared about the openness so to say. is it fine using it during rain ? is it bad if it falls out of my pocket into a sandy sidewalk ?
I really love nothing phones! (Although I don't have one yet hahah) I hope they can design a smaller phone one day.
No Nothing said they don't have plan to make small phones
Watching this on my Nothing Phone 2. Love the design language, but will wait for the next generation for a more settled down UX.
Other than that, congratulations CMF and Nothing! 🎉
You guys really ought to emphasis there's no NFC on the website more.
I almost preordered one, you're going to have plenty returns/burn goodwill otherwise, hoping ya succeed and hoping you release an NFC version for Europe.
Very well done, loved the phone, loved the video!
These devices look aesthetically pleasing I’ll have to try them!
Congratulations on the product, I would consider purchasing it if it has desktop mode for use with keyboard, mouse and monitor.
Can we please have always on display feature for the cmf phone 1, that way the amoled display can be utilised more efficiently
I'm not going to lie if nothing comes out with a flagship level phone I would jump on in a heartbeat. I absolutely love what you guys are trying to do but I'm not going to miss out on a flagship phone. The cameras the battery life all of that is far better on say a Samsung or even the new Google pixel. But the day that nothing comes out with one I will jump on the train in a heartbeat.
Does it have AI?
Great devices, all those functionalities and the customisability is crazy
Nice implementation with the case and the custom control knob
please bring your products to chile ! , Their products here, the few stores that carry them, sell them much, much more expensive than they are worth in the USA or EU.
Grettings from chile ! , i'm fan of your designs and software
