- Unboxing Nothing's CMF Watch Pro 2, followed by a one-week review of this budget smartwatch after a week of use,. Despite the weeny price tag, this wearable boasts better battery life than a Pixel or Apple Watch - but the CMF Watch Pro 2 by Nothing has its limitations too.
Like the Phone 1, you've got a distinctive UI that's simple to use. Notifications support is basic at best, while that behaviour can be a bit shonky at times. Still, the CMF Watch Pro 2 can track a huge number of exercise types, with GPS support. You've also got the usual health related shenanigans, including heart rate tracking, sleep analysis and so on.
The AMOLED display is bright and not supports auto brightness, which is a big upgrade vs the original CMF Watch Pro. This sequel has the regular selection of apps too. So, are you tempted by the Nothing CMF Watch Pro 2? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Actually, when I bought the CMF Watch 1 after he reviewed it I realized he missed a bunch of shit. I only watch him for the entertainment now. Maybe this review is better, but I don't trust him all that much as a reviewer.

@@internalconflict-oo3yz Hm. The watch is alright I'd say. The build is pretty good, it's a bit bulky compared to some models of the Apple Watch. The only complaint I have with the physical product is that the strap is always either too tight or too loose, but that probably isn't a universal problem. The sensors aren't perfect, but they're good enough to give you a general idea of your activity throughout the day. The real problem here is the software, the CMF Watch app. This watch doesn't do much other than tell the time and show recent health data without the app. In order for the watch to do things like show the weather or notifications the CMF Watch app must be open on your phone. It can be in the background, but you must have it open. Android will automatically close the app after enough time too. It isn't THAT big of a deal when you remind yourself of the price, I guess, but this is something that he did not mention in the review of the first model and absolutely would have stopped me from buying it if he had. Another little quirk is that you have to whitelist what apps your watch will give you notifications from, whatever, right? Well, TH-cam isn't on the list. You cannot get notifications from TH-cam on this watch. What a strange decision. The last problem I have is with the customer support, but I didn't really expect this guy to include customer support in his review so I won't talk about it.
The truth is that I don't know anything about the budget smart watch market so I can't give you any opinion on recommendation. To be frank, I have no clue how this product compares to its competitors. Watch this guy's review, consider my words, and decide from there.

Wow! I didn't expect such a beautiful smartwatch for this price. Nothing is killing it with these cool cmf products! Probably going to give this watch as a gift to my dad.
They could charge more for it. They just take like 29% profit on their products unlike other brands that take about 300-600% profit on their products

EDIT: I tried them myself. Good looking watch, nice display, but the vibration motor just isn't strong and sophisticated enough. Certainly not enough to wake you up as an alarm. Just FYI guys!

Cheers...I just ordered there headphones the pro 2. I have a watch but am quite integrated by the watch ⌚ I have a pixel 1 it's good and tough thankfully or I'd be getting this one...
Also thinking about the nothing phone...for my wife But it needs a wrap around case because I'm sure the glass is not as tough as it will need to be to survive...
We use mint, that uses T-Mobile...so it should work. Tons of them sold, but for U.S. we need more cell service options. Sorry for my rant and thank you for reviewing

Step count was always a bit dodgy (at least it was on mine)
@@christopherkaungpyaephonem2637 It's may be you got lucky. But it gen1 had issues. Fitness statistics isn't correct. Specially step count. Not even close what other smart watches shows. Although I'm not a fitness guy not even bothered by all that stats but mine biggest issue was connectivity issue. It lose it's connection with phone. Which is a deal breaker for me. If i lose connections how can i even make a call ? Losing sync with phone is pain in the ssa. It not just only me. Search online many people complaining about that. If they fixed the connectivity issue with gen2 That would be great for all
@@christopherkaungpyaephonem2637 are you able to see steps history in cmf watch pro 2? The first one does not have this option and it is quite stupid. You can see sleeping history, and blood pressure history but not steps history :)

For the money it seems decent. They also have a square variant but a bit to apple looking. I wish they would make more look like a traditional watch with a good stainless steel Strap.
All of those features and it costs less than my Ultra 2's band. What's not to love?

The way the OS and device works is suspiciously similar to the redmi watch which was released this year
What a cute watch. The design seems to be more suitable for children, but aside from that, it has all the basic functions, which is pretty good.
Although the quality of the CMF products are questionable. I feel like they have some really cool ideas with the modular approach they are taking. And the more fun, non industrial designs. Quite refreshing to be honest.

This was more an unboxing and going through the features rather than a proper review. I did like the video but i got no information that would be helpful in choosing this smart watch. Like you say its in the budget friendly smart watch price but is it a good one, how does it compare to similar prced smart watches, whats it lacking in comparison to expensive ones, is it worth upgrading if you had the previous generation. If I bought it from this review alone id have no idea if I was scammed or if I had got a great bit of tech for a great price
That's why you never just go off of a singular review. Use it as a guide/sample and compare it with other videos

The cmf watch doesn't have app beside what came with the watch. Was disappointed with their first watch. Customising watch face and upload to the watch took about 25MIN 😢
