It has some really cool features, although i think that the purpose/use case of the product should be more clear, so maybe it could just be a power bank with fast charging and wireless decharging. Or just a cable splitter, but the design is definetly very cool, although there is also a fine line to walk because the apple powerbank is similar.

    Hey guys,
During the times the Phone 2 came out, my feed was bombarded with it, but... I thought nothing of 'Nothing'.
My phone usage history was all about flipping through iPhones and Samsungs and iPhones and Samsungs, so.... venturing into anything else but those, such as, 'Nothing' seemed like... well, nothing much.
But man, was I wrong! The more I dove deep into the 'Nothing' universe, the more I felt like I was truly discovering... EVERYTHING. Got my hands on the Phone 2 and it felt like I had unlocked a secret realm. I love every aspects of it, no matter what others say- the quality, the experience, the looks, the 'everything'.
Now, it's been a month, or even more(?) but every day feels like just the first day - as if I'm unwrapping a gift from the universe, as if I'm a little boy with a new car toy, as if I'm finally 'something' in this world of nothingness. So, here's to 'Nothing' - I've got nothing but love for you. Looking forward to saving up just enough, for more of Nothing products.📱
    xoxo

I think the power (1) is a great idea that should be revisited in a year or two with a little less focus on the availability of simultaneous charging outputs, and more on the side of cooling. It really looks like it's nearly at that 90% mark, the last 10% looking like tech around power delivery efficiency needing to catch up to the vision.
I'm sure there's a lot of other technical issues let alone the logic, but maybe modularizing it might be a good idea so that end users can decide what and how many options they have, it would definitely mean making the form factor line up a bit more with how things are looking on the market right now in terms of power banks, but in turn it might make it easier to develop a cooling solution that wouldn't break the design language.

aesthetic side note - would be cool if that black bit was thinner in the middle of power 1, or even a LED.

Yes that is the coolest looking charger I have ever seen. I would love one of these!! You guys should definately sell the first version as the Power 1 Paperweight!

please reconsider pruducing the power one, Im a big fun of Carl's Nothing products so I would like to see him diversify and conquer the tech industry. Impressed by the company designs and size of the power 1

That was great, thanks for sharing! I can understand why many comments say they'd buy it regardless the performance issues; we should let it go, I 'm pretty sure they're working on bigger and better devices.

As always, awesome video. I love all the feedback you always make and all the stuff you show aswell. And for the Power (1), I understand Carl but... This thing has to happen. Maybe not a 3in1 device because all the things he said but a 2in1 with wired and wirresless charger with the Nothing design? YES, PLEASE!

Gotta give props to nothing for actually admitting they failed at something. Than just sweeping it under the rug and then say it wasn’t the time and they were focusing on other things

That makes a whole lot of sense. Profit margin for a power bank isn't really worth investing. Thermal and durability problem are merely what triggers the rethinking.

"Failures" are part of *any* process and brings knowledge. Especially in industries like space crafts it takes many rockets to explode to gain knowledge about how to make a rocket start properly.

You should try to look into how powerbanks for hiking/outdoor activites are made (since it can handle extreme temperatures and weather)

I would like a small flagship nothing phone come out. I understand there is a lot of people prefer large screen, but as a small phone user, I just find it hard to find a phone that aesthetically match my taste and small form factor. Hopefully nothing could take that part of the market that no one does

Maybe adding a rubber protection at the corners might help and keeping the transparent esthetic.
