I definitely loved Mario Bros U Deluxe and Mario Wonder. As far as RPGs, I would go with Super Mario RPG. I also loved the Mario Vs Donkey Kong remake. And i loved Odyssey and 3D All Stars.

My favorite Mario game is Mario odyssey, I also have done a couple of speedruns on it. The game that really surprised me though was paper Mario and the thousand year door. I think it is amazing and I think I will play more rpg’s in the future because of this game.

Unpopular Opinion: One of my favorite Switch Mario games that I got the most psyched for was Paper Mario Origami King. I was just genuinely excited about a new Paper Mario game that I thought was a good game overall. I STILL rank Super Paper Mario as my favorite game of all time (another unpopular opinion) and WISH Nintendo would make a sequel for it. The story, the unique characters, the MUSIC! I mean, tbh, combining those traits from SPM and the RPG aspects from TTYD would make a killer game.
Least Favorite: No offense….I couldn’t get into Rabbids 😬. Also, not a Mario Party fan for the simple reasoning that I don’t have a lot of friends willing to play video games with 😭. Otherwise, I’m sure Mario Party games would be great.

It honestly doesn't surprise me in the slightest that it's been 7 years since the last new 3D Mario game. I feel like people seem to forget that Nintendo wants each of their 3D Mario titles to be something that stands out and as a result, it may take a while for them to come up with a new concept. For instance, I would think that if they were to come out with a Super Mario Odyssey 2, simply having new kingdoms and new capture abilities wouldn't suffice for Nintendo. They would want to incorporate a new gameplay mechanic in addition to these new kingdoms and abilities.
The same can be said with the Zelda titles as well. Whether it be a 2D/top-down or 3D game, Nintendo, as we know it, usually puts gameplay before anything else and therefore it shouldn't come as a surprise that there are these 5 to 7-year-long gaps between releases. I get that it wouldn't hurt to have Nintendo make a new 3D Mario game that's more akin to the simplistic, yet stylish nature of Super Mario 64 in an HD format, but the way I look at it, I'm just grateful that we're getting games like Mario and Luigi Brothership or Echoes of Wisdom at all. There may have been those installments to series that fans look at and see as bad, underwhelming, or controversial experiences like Sticker Star or Paper Jam Bros, the fact that Nintendo is willing to come back to these franchises and put some kind of effort into new installments is commendable.
Nintendo's really gonna forget about Mario? Without Mario, not only would we have Nintendo, but we would have never recovered from the Video Game Crash of 83.
Or maybe Nin10doland is tired of seeing the original video everywhere.
The biggest thing I want that's missing now is the Winter Olympics titles. Like, JEEZ, Nintendo and Sega. Like, 2018, it was excusable since we hasn't gotten our Summer Olympics title yet, but 2022, you give us nothing, I just don't like that, man. Give us the Winter Olympics back, man.

So far, throughout the Nintendo Switch era so far, I liked EVERY SINGLE Mario games and spinoffs that had been on this console, be it Super Mario Odyssey back in 2017, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and the upcoming Mario & Luigi Brothership (or shall I call it Mario & Luigi Brotherhood). 👍👍👍 Aside from that, don't worry, Nintendo had NOT forgotten about Mario, even though there won't be another 3D open-world Mario game anytime soon.

Nintendo has NEVER forgotten their Number One Mascott the Super Star Super Mario because in last year 2023 there came Super Mario Bros Wonder and Super Mario RPG Remake, in this year 2024 until the Mid-Summer there came Mario VS. Donkey Kong Remake, Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door HD Remake and Mario&Luigi Brothership is coming in november and if Nintendo Switch 2 is really coming in 2025 I believe with that the Next 3D Super Mario game Super Mario Galaxy 3, Odyssey 2 or a whole New Mario game what I believe Super Mario Odyssey 2 is the Nearest one, but Galaxy 3 would be awesome to see too: Here we Go WAHOO! 😆❤️🔥
