@@grookeymon Why would it be sarcasm? I thought Pyribbit was generally considered unpopular for how long you have to wait for it to stop being in the background.
To be honest, the Kirby series is pretty consistent with overall quality in boss fights. Even for the more mediocre "whatever" fights, you can at least blaze through most of them with the right ability. ...And then there's Pyribbit. How that boss was allowed to exist is an affront to nature itself.
11:50 Correction: You do. When you defeat all of the holograms, the Holo Defense API puts matters into its own hands by zipping around the arena. See look, you actually do fight it. Also fun fact when I fought Holo Defense API, at the end of the fight I was at really low health and I was lucky I beat it. Keep in mind Holo Coily Rattler used his Bite Tackle attack (his strongest attack) on me while I was on low health. Don't know how I survived that, perhaps button mashing nullified the damage.
Heavy Mole is a special case. Compared to other bosses in the game he is definitely not that great, but it is such a unique concept and he stands out. Plus, he is the boss of the objectively best world in the game, Yogurt Yard!
Yeah, it's a relatively difficult boss. The hardest thing is keeping up with his completely random movement, which becomes even harder when you have the hammer (essential copy ability for that fight). If you don't keep up with him and get stuck on the left part of the screen (because there is little room for error with the stupid autoscroll) you might get KOed and have to start all over again. Also, you have to avoid the Dygclops' it leaves behind. It's a very strategic battle tbh, you need to know what you're doing, if not it's an almost sure KO for yourself. I was stuck for it for like 3 months when I was younger, eventually I learned the technique and beat it.
Sad to see the Whispy Woods bashing 😢. I know it’s a joke difficulty wise but I feel it’s too iconic to include on this list. You absolutely nailed the choice for Forgotten Land though - I stumbled thru that boss and was like “what the heck was that?”. No reason to have something that easy in the late game
At least with Heavy Mole in Nightmare in Dreamland those missiles it fires do give you copy abilities. Yellow ones give you sleep and the red ones give you hammer.
@@Nin10doland But Freezy Rex isn’t? Also fun fact: Freezy Rex is one of the few things in the Kirby universe that can destroy Gordos. I think he should get some points for that
My personal opinion on how to fix Fecto Forgo: - Giving him more attacks - Having the hallway be a little bit shorter (It does end eventually if you go far enough) - Touching it should have been an instant kill, with a game over scene of Kirby being absorbed into the blue mass, followed by Fecto's face morphing into Kirby's face.
Pon/Con aren't great, but I do appreciate the boldness of Star Allies randomly bringing them back as one of the few bosses in the game to stand beside the staple bosses and OC bosses.
Another way to fight Sweet Stuff is to blow its starfish minions back at it. Sure you’re at the whims of the boss’ position, but easier to react to attacks.
Hooplagoon is kinda fun. My least favorite Rainbow Curse boss would have to be Metal Whispy Woods. You're forced to use special star dashes to kill him.

Heavy Mole is cool, especially with the umbrella. Running away makes sense. He's the only one competently doing his job, keep his piece of the star rod away from everyone else. Ivy is a stupid concept for a boss, but she's fun to play with. She's good because she's the only boss that rewards dragging, something new players unaccustomed to the game will do, and punishes not dragging, which veterans are guilty of when they face her for a second time.
I have a feeling that this is a good idea for the future of the game and I will be very happy to see it succeed in the future and I will be happy to see the results of this project

Also, it's not just a bunch of minibosses. It's two miniboss fights, of which one is a Doomer fight from Return to Dreamland, and then back to back Kracko and Coily Rattler. Star Allies: I'm going to have to agree on Pon and Kon. But at least if you have a copy ability it's over pretty quickly.
