In this video, I take on the insanely difficult task of beating every single Mario game with a twist - the floor is made of LAVA! From the classic adventures in Super Mario Bros. to the expansive worlds in Super Mario Odyssey, I'll be navigating through each level while avoiding the searing heat below.
Can I jump, bounce, and power-up my way to victory without getting burned? Watch as I face fiery obstacles, nail-biting jumps, and intense boss battles, all while trying to stay off the scorching ground. It's a nostalgic trip down Mario lane with an added layer of fiery fun!

Can I Beat Every Mario Game If the Floor is Lava? No! Of course not!
Doing something like that would look like this
So in order to make this challenge more interesting let’s add a few rules to it
Number 1. The floor is entirely made of lava except for where I start in a level.
Basically I’m allowed 1 big jump to get to a higher platform.
Number 2. Only doing the first level.
Trying to beat each game with the floor as lava is way too much for this one video so if I beat the first level then that game’s a success.
Number 3. The first level starts from the star selection.
In 2d games it was pretty easy to know when the first level starts but for 3d I’m going to have it start from the very first star you can select.
Number 4. I can’t die to a cutscene.
Meaning if I start back on the floor after a cutscene finishes, then I repeat rule number 1 and have another attempt to jump back to somewhere elevated
Number 5. All players have to be not touching the ground at all times.
This is so i simply can’t just carry a second player the whole way.

I would count bridges as elevated platforms, rather than ground, unless it has the same texture as the regular ground. So Mario 64 could go further.
I think mario odyssey is possible, because there is a lava mod to this game and this platform isn't lava there.

To be fair, you should have a specific rules for those 2d games, one in which you are actually able to reach the first block, since once that you do that, you can reach a considerable distance

I think that the spinning wheels in nsmbwii shouldn't count as lava because they are elevated.
In SM64 the bridge isnt the ground it is a structure so you can use that
