Full GTS Software for our M2 GTS with Thor M Flasher

- We've long enjoyed the benefits of GTS DCT and Chassis software on our F80 M3, and some of them on our M2, but thanks to Thor it is now possible to put the full suite including GTS DCT on to the M2, which has really sharpened the driving experience. If you're not looking for the hardcore GTS settings there is also CS and Competition software available also.

Does this have an impact on the clutch when it shifts quicker and sharper ?
Do all these features still work when car is in traction mode fully off ?

Does anyone know if this flash works with ECU from a 2020 M2C that is locked?
Have you tried the CS or the M2C maps yet? Really curious to know how they vary. In the GTS map, did the steering get stiffer? How was it with traction? Did you try any hard accelerations from a dig? Or hard corner acceleration?
I've had GTS Steering, MDM and EDiff before Thor. Traction off the line and out of corners is much improved. The MDM allows a lot of slip before cutting in which is fun.
Just got my Thor a few days ago. 2016 chassis. Did the whole M2C package but not DCT (manual car). The steering is lighter which at first I didn't like but am getting used to. Deadzone is reduced car feels more eager to turn in from neutral. Need to do GTS steering next though. Bit scared to do GTS traction and diff! Though apparently it's still very controllable.

@@EvolveAutomotive GTS diff? What about stability control does it still do it's thing as needed for a road car? Might do one at a time on top of the settings I have now. BTW I see you left it on the top setting for tyre sensors, it was that or RPA I think. I left it in top setting too and sensors still work:)
@@peterwood2633 Yeah it still does it thing for a road car but much more fun. It improves grip especially out of corners.
So Sports + shifting is improved but Comfort mode is worse? Does this allow more slip on Traction and Sports + mode? I heard the M2C is better about getting more tail happy, I would like that......Also the app misspelled Steering "Streering" lol.
Yes, sport+ allows for more tail happy moments. Like he said in the video in sport+ the car allows for a little more slip now.
Comfort Mode is smoother than stock. You could apply the M2C software to get exactly what that has. You can try that and work up to CS or GTS if you wanted a more aggressive profile.

I just tried this a few days ago and have had a really hard time keeping a Wi-Fi connection with the Thor Wi-Fi dongle. What cable did you use? Do you have to use the bimmer geeks cable that the app suggests?
We just used an existing ENET cable we had, along with a USB-C to Ethernet adaptor.

No, only F8X M2 M3 M4
If i put the dinan stage 1 on my f80, can i still flash it with gts software? If so will it mess with the tune ?

What’s it like with dsc off? Is it as fast as in sport +?
Haven't tested with DSC fully off yet. I assume its the same as Sport Plus
is it still available, because on the website you cant find anything about this type of flash?
We never sold it ourselves, believe you can buy direct from Thor themselves

No, only M2/M3/M4. The M135i doesn’t have the E-LSD or the DCT gearbox.

It would not but we have developed our own TCU flash for the ZF 8 Speed

In regards to steering, DCT and differential yes, this does nothing to the engine ECU so power remains the same.
