Some feedback for the Rooster Cup organizers - I thought the "Sun Mercury Venus..." naming scheme of the last game was really efficient and I vastly preferred it to last month's. By contrast, this MCU naming scheme was hot garbage, as evidenced by the double "Captain" confusion. I would really like it if the organizers can settle on some simple short distinct names for each player, perhaps they could use the NATO phonetic alphabet or something? Alpha Bravo Charlie Delta etc.
Why even name them anything different than the leader/civ they're playing? So much simpler if they're just India or Phillip. Might need some slight adjustments when two players have the same leader or civ but not much.
@@Catman_CM not duplicate leader and country combo but you can have both the Ludwig and Frederik Germanies in the game or Kublai Mongol and Kublai China.
@@pikazilla6405 ah, a simple explanation. That makes sense! Thanks for the info. I never watch the drafts or play multiplayer myself, just cut straight to the gameplay.
Herson showing off his map hax skills. The trick is to play so many games that all your bad luck gets wasted on Ranked games, so you have all the good vibes and luck stored up for the tournament win.
Only reason Russia attacked you was to secure third. Nobody was stopping Poland, Germany was eating all the weaker players near him. If you had gotten more of Brazil, he'd be down to fourth. So, he went all in just to kill that one city. Once he razed it, he basically went into turtle mode.
I like how he explains that first little micro thing with the 3-0 and 2-2 as being something that sounds weird but literally every civ3 multiplayer player in the world would be able to see that immediately
Is there a rule of thumb regarding of how much districts of each type you need in your empire to win by science/culture/religion? I watched your Brazil vod, at turn 90 you had something like 3 Camps, 4 Campuses, 5 IZs, 6 TSs, and CH in every city. I assume for science victory there will be 4 TSs and 6 Campuses? I also noticed that in cities with Camps there were no IZs, I guess because Camps also give some Production?
Why doesn’t herson pre-move scouts like at least a turn or two. I noticed in the last few vods (I’m a new viewer) that forgetting to move units is persistently a problem
Because ideally you want to move your scout one tile forward, check out the area and then decide where to move afterwards. Stuff like switching to the settler lens to check if there's a city nearby. It's especially important in the early game when you don't have so many actions you can take in general and optimal scouting might be the difference between hitting your first Golden Age or not.
I've been watching some of your playthroughs, I believe you'd have a reasonably higher rating if you could put up better defenses in your cities in the last few dozen turns. "It would be a fun challenge to try, Civ 6 Multiplayer but if I lose a city I concede the game" Hoping to see you make into the top 10 of the CPL someday.
i love watching your videos but the audio cutting out makes them hard to sit through you have HORRIBLE audio mixing on what ever recording software you use.
bro stop complaining about barbs like a spoiled kid every time you have even SLIGHT barb problem. You act like you DESERVE to not have an ounce of bad barb rng, the entitlement is annoying
If the game is set up to not have barb respawns and he gets an unfortunate barb respawn as a result of a rejoin bug... that seems valid, no? Within the confines of how the barbs were SUPPOSED to work he planned accordingly and had a safe settler on the way to settle one of his final cities, and then a bug sets him behind like 5+ turns of tempo *AND* requires him to pull back a scout *AND* puts a new barb on top of one of his in-progress districts. From a bug.
@@MichaelJohnson-kq7qg Technically its the opposite. Innocent until proven guilty, being true is a defense against a slander suit not a requirement to put one up. Which we will probably see pretty soon since Andrew is suing

Just recently round this channel. I can’t believe I have gone this long without CIV6 multiplayer content.
I don't think anyone could do it like Herson, I came for the Civ 6 tips and stayed for the entertainment
the crying at the end was the best part of the game. The guy mad because of a backstab, guess what , in a FFA game LOL
5 minutes into the video and it's already a god spawn. I guess the Civ6 Gods take, but they also give.

most casual civ player ever but addicted to these videos, quality stuff

Audio is still cutting off though it's better than the last video
Thx herson your games and being introduced to cpl ruined my sleep schedule again
Mic gate is still to tight might want to let it loosen it up a bit more
Herson, are you okay ? You were coughing very badly yesterday
He played a game as china a few weeks ago and got Covid after settling Wuhan.
cackled at "going to be so mad when this volcano erupts"
The self-conscious scouting rationale narration is still so fun
hersonites rise UP! ✊
Godamn Sandro is so salty, i LOVE IT ahahahahaha

wow civ 3 players are so amazing, I bet their cum taste super good.

@ would make sense except over half the people playing only started 2 years ago

I'm glad. I don't want the title to ruin the outcome before I even watch the first minute.
Too bad players scrambled in petty wars, but didn't realize it's a winner wins all game. And let winner get away with sim
thats the best part about online civ, the pettiness
Gg, I just wish Brazil would've backstabbed someone that would've made it even more entertaining!
Brazil did backstab Kublai-Mongolia, are you talking about Kupe?
Great watch, can you share what map settings (world age resources positions etc) typical league game uses?
I was wondering about Reeds and Marshes at the beginning, lots of marsh around. But no floodplains I guess so 🤷♂️
Man, not seeing that coal tile and the 5+ turns you could have nabbed it before Russia did hurt a little inside
The fact Brazil knew who the yapper was
of course you got the victory there is no macedon in the match
14 seconds no views. Fell off hard
The Herson situation is crazy
What if you got hit by a bus 😂

1:19:20 How did you get almost 30 science mid turn, was it the alliance Bonusses kicking in late or what?
It's the Free Inquiry golden age dedication kicking in. It grants science equal to the total commercial hub and harbor adjacency in my empire.

new to Civ Multi. how did Poland win when germany had far greater science and score?
he won science victory

Do you have any gameplay for suleiman kanuni?
can anyone post the position list with all players? Thank you
Ca-Caw!
I can't hear anything from the game footage :(
what does settling on a resource do?
it automatically uses it even tho you might not have researched it
Only cause trynda isn't in it
This game is not worth all the re-lobbying.
You literally need 8 hours a day or 56 hours a week to play competitively.
Whats the prize

civ 6 players in general just complain too much, i wonder if they even enjoy playing
It's less about the barbarians and more about the rejoin bug causing barbarians when there shouldn't be any
The tournament is yours because you slandered the best player and drove him out...

The important thing that is required for something to be 'slander' is that it has to be shown to be untrue.
