    Norns and grid are a fantastic couple! You showed it off in a great way! Very inspiring and beautiful soothing sounds.

    just ordered a b-stock grid the other day, and this video has made me really excited to try cheat codes with my norns shield once the grid arrives!

    Hi :) Sounds wonderful. How you connect/ sync guitar to Norns? Are you slicing with cheat chodes as guitar playing at same time?

    Beautiful! I've been trying to understand what Norns is exactly for some time but I'm still a little confused. Do you have suggestions regarding where I can learn about it? The Monome website is still a little opaque to me...

      Very simplified norns is a little ‘computer’ with inputs and outputs, usb ports etc. what makes it so powerful is the ability to use it in different ways based on scripts (coded ‘applications’). There are loads of different scripts available and the collection is growing every week. Some scripts can make sounds (norns is a synth). Other scripts ‘sample’ incoming sounds and manipulate them (norns is a looper, sampler). Other scripts again are sequenzers and you can hook up midi etc to connect to other gear.
      I think a good way to start understanding Norns is to look closer at a couple of scripts. ‘Cranes’ is one of my favorites. It’s a looper script where you take incoming sound into Norns, capture/record it, and play it back as well as manipulate it. Have a look at this video: m.th-cam.com/video/pVVKC3KnRLg/w-d-xo.html

      @@HansMarius1984 thank you!!! Looks great. Does this mic need a recorder? Or it can be plugged into audio interface 🤔

      I think it needs a recorder with plug-in power, not 100% sure though. I use mine plugged into a Zoom recorder

    How are you getting live input on 3 banks when Norns only has two mono inputs?

    • @HansMarius1984
      @HansMarius1984  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe the wording was a bit confusing 😜 The 3 banks are all set to the same input (live input 1). All banks have different settings (rate, direction, pan, filter etc) and effect the input signal differently

    how did you plug in the signal from the guitalele to the Monome? pretty cool piece
