by default the tracks don't follow any sort of tempo and are fixed to 4s length. you can tempo-map the tracks by pressing ALT + FOCUS. Depending on the tempo-map setting it will either resize the track length or change the play head speed to match the tempo of the system settings (Parameters > Clock)
