I was literally just looking up people's favorite yarns for blankets! This was helpful thanks, I gotta try the Feels Like Butta yarn, that wasn't on my radar at all.
I use caron simply soft for blankets. Its shiney. Soft and holds up to washing really well. I highly suggest it. I have blankets that I have given to folks with babies that the lil brother now uses
I made a baby blanket out of the Feels Like Butta yarn and it turned out amazing. Love that yarn. Have also made multiple blankets out of the Bernat blanket yarn and it is super fun to work with. Thanks for the video.
Feel like butta yarn , is it anti piling and does cat or dog hair stick to it horribly or does the pet hair come off easily by washing or simply shaking it out ? How much does it cost?
@@l.faywolfhenegar4728 - I don’t recall that it was particularly bad with hanging on to hairs. I think I got it on sale, but I am sorry I don’t recall the cost.
I’m making 8 blankets for my 8 grandkids & am using the Bernat blanket & Bernat baby blanket yarn. I started with an easy V stitch for the first 5 & using 3 different stitches for the last 3. I absolutely love this yarn & the kids really love it!! It’s very squishy & soft!! Thank you for sharing!!
I did the same for my grandkids last Christmas, ages 2,4,6,and 8. Told them any time they needed a Nana hug and I wasn't there, they should wrap the blanket around them
Bernat Blanket is my go to yarn for baby blankets. Regular blankets I usually use Caron One Pound yarn. I definitely have to get some Feels Like Butta! Excited to try it!

Thank you much for the info I needed.
Very useful, thanks for sharing. I love doing V-stitch and suzzette stitches
Making a blanket right now with feels like butta so soft. But it’s tangling a lot.
I normally cake mine first because it can be a bit tricky due to how soft it is.
Thank you for sharing this with us

Where are you in Michigan? I’m near Chelsea.
Thank you for sharing
Thank you!
Do you ever use a 3 weight yarn?
Dk weight is one of my favorite yarn weights, but there is a very small chance I make a blanket out of size 3/dk weight yarn 🥰
Do you have a store brand you’d recommend that’s comparable to the Bernat Blanket yarn?
👍
