I knew about all of them but could only remember the effect of mind's eye and wind rider since they are very good competitively, the other ones I had completely forgoten they're effects.
From what I've heard, wind rider brambleghast is a good niche pokemon in competative doubles. Some people probably know it better than the rest. I know I did.
flare boost should've taken the place of toxic boost bc zangoose always runs toxic boost, whereas drifblim always runs unburden instead of flare boost. Some other great choices include: Ball fetch (yamper), Propellor tail (barraskewda), Poison Puppeteer (pecharunt), prism armor (all necrozma forms except for ultra), neuroforce (ultra necrozma), steelworker (dhelmise), tangled feet (dodrio, mr rime, chatot, and potentially a few others), victory star (victini), sweet veil (ribombee, alcremie and a few others), symbiosis (florges)
Pastel Veil also cures a Poisoned ally on switch in. WeedleTwineedle has a video showcasing that part of the ability. Also, it really feels like most of this list is "how much did you actually pay attention while playing through Gen IX" rather than super odd or niche abilities. If you'd thrown Cacophony on the list, I still would've heard about it, but that's at least interesting game knowledge fewer are likely to know about.
A lot of them were newer I think cause older ones have been around long enough for people to discover them. Honestly MandJTV has a similar video to this and I wanted to avoid ones he already mentioned like Stall and Cacophony even though they seem rare, they’ve already had attention pointed towards them
im very much a nerd and i like to find fakemon and give them moves stats and abilities so ive looked over pokemon database ability page multiple times so i thought i was gonna know all of these but you actually got me with rocky payload and dazzling
