- Today on Dice Chatter we are making a Massive Fantasy Windmill! Whether it is Age of Sigmar, Dungeons and Dragons, Frostgrave, or any other wargame on the tabletop, this windmill will add some needed ambiance to your games! This is a great way to get started in terrain building for new folks and those that are experienced tabletop crafters as well.

love the use of wet towel containers and great thinking with the door I need to do this on a build sometime. Wood planks looked great as it comes together, great video Donny! People need to subscirbe NOW!. Too aggressive?.

In lieu of a door to the balcony, you could instead use the same techniques as the windmill blades and create a ladder. Attach that to the side, and you've got a way to access the upper portion.
Nice windmill! I just finished building one myself, ended up using a drinking straw as a housing for the main impeller axle and it helps it spin pretty effectively.

That look awesome. I'm trying to start on Frostgrave and this kind of content helps a LOT. I'll try to build the unique buildings of each scenario first and between them I'll try to build some common scatter terrain. It's a lot of work for a father of 2 little kids, but my plan is to play with them in the future.
Glad I could be of service! I’d suggest make some easy basic terrain pieces first. Stones, trees, etc. things you’ll use in every game. And good luck!
I love how modular this build can be: keep the bottom part with the door and just exchange the top part to turn it into a lighthouse, a watchtower or a wizard's tower. Definitely going to build this one!
