1:54 is that a layer separation in your print? a flaw in the design of the slice? Also, using water resin, how has this held up over the last couple months. I hear mixed things about the longevity of water resins and curious.

Great review! I am waiting on one of these to be delivered and really want to do it right as it will be my first 3d sla printer. I've heard of people using painters tape on the base to seal it better. Would you recommend that?

With the water washable resin what is the method for used water disposal?

i usually wash it into a bucket i have that i use to recycle liquid at a near by recycling center, but if you don't have one near you. you can let the water dry. the remaining resin can be cured so it will be safe to dispose

I stick it in one of the UV curing stations they usually also sell
- Leave the water to rest for a day or 2 and the resin will separate
- UV blast it until the resin is cured
- Sieve out the solid resin from the water
- Should be able to dispose the water as normal

​@SirProdigle do NOT pour this down a drain, even after separation of resin. There are still toxins in the water that treatment plants can't always filter. Now, if by "dispose of as normal" you mean like you would IPA, that is fine. But never down the drain.

I see a lot of horizontal layer lines in the print at 2:00 and I've seen this in other reviewers prints too. Is this something common with the saturn 3?

its more than likely from the tinted print bed, Some youtubers say to use the clear one and get better prints. the basic saturn 3 comes with the clear one

It will slightly if ur not using the 12k or 8k resin but not by much it’s more so ur printing setting that are important
