Buy WARGAMER - The best Resin for Miniatures yesthats3dprinted.com/pages/wargamer?ref=FauxHammer
At 8:28 it looks like there is a select all and then you can delete everything. Is that not the case?
I just received my saturn ultra last week. It's not my first printer, but it's my first resin printer. I held off for a long time because of the cost to build volume. I did some research and had prior knowledge of resin printers, but I still took the chance on this as a preorder. Gotta say I'm impressed for many reasons. First-time setup like bed leveling, build volume, build quality, and I can't really complain about the slicer either. I went into this purchase mainly to print drone replacement parts, and now I'm searching through my files for models that took DAYS on my fdm printer because the saturn ultra produces highly detailed prints faster than the estimated build time. If you're getting one, just run every benchmark print you can find, and I don't think you'll be disappointed with the results. *Promise I'm NOT a bot or paid. I only wrote this because I saw another video about this printer and had buyers remorse because of the AXF film and the general sentiment of "Why does this printer even exist?"
As always great video! I've had my Saturn 3 Ultra for almost a month now and love it. It's my first resin printer coming from the olden days of a heavily upgraded Anet A8 FDM printer and I'm absolutely sold on resin printing. Sadly I scratched the ACF that comes with the printer early on but Elegoo still doesn't sell replacements yet. I'm using Saturn 3 PFA film until ACF is actually available but zero issues without changing the settings.
This is the review I’ve been waiting for. Thanks
Thanks for watching
Was looking at the Saturn two but now think spending a little more and grabbing this one! Thanks for reviewing super helpful ! Love your videos!
Glad I could help!
I bought the ultra as first 3D printer ever and i am absolutely amazed by the speed and detail this printer can print really loving this printer and its so easy to use.
I just ordered my Saturn 3 Ultra.. it will be my first printer, too.. i´m excited :D
I have one that should be arriving any day now. I even ordered a standard Saturn 3 VAT/FEP based on your previous experiments. But it looks like I'll be mostly using the ACF and have the FEP as a backup or when someone wants every bit of detail possible. Thanks for the update and I guess validating my purchase. :)
Would love to see your results in both as I’m still to confirm if it’s just me.
And yeah, you picked a good one
You can do select all on the file browser to delete all@@FauxHammer seen at 8:27 / 8:28
New to the hobby, just bought one of these thanks to your reviews. Cheers mate
Welcome aboard!
I’m super excited, these just went up on Amazon, Elegoo doesn’t ship to my region but they do. Looking forward to seeing the upgrade to my Saturn S
Ordered my Saturn 3 Ultra based on your reviews. I planned to order PFA foils too to start with, but now I’ll try the preinstalled ACF for now
Hopefully with this video I can convince my parents to buy the Saturn 3 Ultra. I’ve done a huge amount of research on Resin printers now (like 70 hours+ even made a presentations. . .) and I think this might be the video to do it. Only unfortunate thing is that it would have been for my 19th birthday but if they do get it, it will arrive a month from now which is past my 19th. :l
Anyways keep up the great reviews!
fantastic. i was going to ask you to somehow keep these reviews up to date - 'cos firmware upgrades can make a difference.
This is actually pretty fascinating and exciting. ACF that does not have that drawback makes this my new printer of choice now!
Good to know! I've had my eyes on this one.
My Photon mono has served me well for quite some time, but it's time to move on to something larger with a better pixel size and sharpness.
Awesome review, mine should arrive this month.
I switched over my Mega 8k and Mighty 8k printers last month and have had nothing but great prints with ACF. Being able to cut my lift height by 70% _and_ increase lift speed 2x has been a gmae changer. No weird patterns so far!
Glad you had a good experience. My Mega 8k comes next month and I;m about to change my FEP for ACF today on the Phrozen Mighty 8k (now 12k)
Why do you think that is? I'm buying a new printer and the whole ACF bit has me nervous.
Great video as always! I'm very interested in the acf vs nfep video. I've been tempted to try acf, but your other videos have made me put a breaks on.
i know, sorry this one flipped it, but i can only show what I see.
@@FauxHammer I still get vertical lines on my S3 Ultra. I print a lot of flat surfaced geometry and lines are very visible.
Lo Howler! Great video, but Morningstar on the computer screen in the back ground made me subscribe instantly. Hail Reaper and Happy printing!
Hail Libertas!
This video finally convinced me to buy the Saturn 3 Ultra after hesitating for weeks comparing it with the Anycubic M5S. Thanks Ross!
One is happy to be of service
Great video, just purchased this 3d printer! :) One thing I dont understand, when watching 3d printer reviews ( also FDM), is - Why people are so oldschool and they keep using USB sticks? I have Bambulab X1C and I never ever used USB stick, since sending files is so much easier and quicker. The same probably goes with this Elegoo 3 Ultra.
Bought a Saturn 3 Ultra through your link a couple weeks ago, so DEFINITELY super surprised to see this. I even bought some PFA Film to go along with it thinking I'd need it, very surprised to see I may not.
I’d love to hear what your results are
as i said in the chat, thanks for another good review, its good to have a pricerange to set a goal for saving up to!
Agreed. Decide what is right fir you then find a way to make that work. Much better than just settling fir something you’ll be unhappy with even before purchase
😮 that leaves me surprised, i am excited for your future experiments for this.
Thanks kindly
Regarding leveling, I'm happy that they changed the fixing system. I have an Elegoo Saturn 4K and just yesterday I started to notice that by printing miniature bases directly on the plate, I lose millimeters in z and the model becomes wider. I think it's due to the screw that blocks the Z of the plate which isn't able to tighten well.
Hey there, as always love your videos - they never fail to be super informative and helpful!
I was wondering what you thought about the mini 8ks vs this printer if the number one goal is to maximize detail on 28mm printed minis. Would there be any discernable difference between this and the 8ks to justify losing out on all the benefits you outline in the video?
Bought this printer with your link, Great video! cant wait to get it and hope you get your kick back from the affiliate link!
I almost waited to get this printer. I ended up going with the Saturn 2 8k. It's works for me. I'll watch your newb video to learn how to tweek it.
That’s still a solid printer and as I said in this, I wouldn’t rush to upgrade
Great video! You sold me!!😊
Great video! Just ordered one! What wash/cure station do you recommend for it? From your video on the Phrozen Wash & Cure kit, it looks like that one might be a good fit with this printer.
A more diffuse light (refractive) source will play better with the granular ACF surface whereas a more collimated light source (Fresnel lens) will be more sensitive to the granular nature of the ACF film. Your results make sense.
Good to know. Thanks for backing this up, because it’s blown my tiny mind
Is it known that the backlight in this model is less collimated, or more diffuse? I wouldn't equate "refractive" with either "less collimated" or "more diffuse". Just the opposite, in fact. EDIT: clarification: a fresnel lens is a refractive optical element, so really we're comparing a "conventional" (refractive) lens with a fresnel (refractive) lens, FWTW.
@@HumbleMonkey agreed, but I knew what was meant
I love your videos but I think you should save yourself a couple of quid by dropping the stock footage of randos shrugging/nodding, etc. It's not needed and it's hackneyed at this point.
@@ajc4477 Sorry for the O/T, but that is EXACTLY what I was thinking! It is very distracting and adds absolutely nothing to the video. I would really love to see those go. So, in fact, I would really love to NOT see them at all ;-)
I was going to hold off on getting a printer until towards the end of the year but I'm hearing good things about this Ultra. Might have to reconsider. Thanks :D
Sales will be on towards the end of the year, but I worry they will sell out fast!
Always nice to see a win. 👍👍
tahnks
Thank you for the video and consistent content. Much appreciated.
Out of curiosity, have you tried or looked at thermal vat bands / vat warmers for resin? I'm debating between the Saturn 3 Ultra with one added on or the GKTwo at the moment for what will be my next printer. I've seen one video looking at it, and while it seems promising, I'm always curious what multiple reports say. No worries if not, just curious.
Thank you again for your time and content. Have a good one.
Ooooh, you were on 69 likes and I struggled to click on 'like' to change that (but I did) lol! Nice review of the new printer though. I really like the plug in filter on my Saturn 8k. I can have the printer run in the same room and I barely notice the smell at all.
I'd still run a flex plate on any printer I get. The rare build failures (not many at all) are worth it for the simplicity of removing models from the build plate easily.
Thanks fir upping me, it would ah e changed at some point but being stuck at 69 is not so bad
I've just ordered one of these but I would have been interested more in how it handles more geometric shapes with hard edges than figures which I don't need it for. My previous Mars 2 Pro used to misprint the lower edges of items or keep putting steps in long vertical positioned items so I've got my fingers crossed this won't do the same. I prefer the power switch being on the side as I got fed up reaching around and fumbling for the switch on my bench at the back particularly as I like to have a bit of space in front of the printer as a working area. With my experience of CNC machines I also went for this as I believe the metal chassis will be sturdier as a mount for the ball screw and slides, more rigidity should result in a more accurate model. I'm hoping the grey lid is transparent enough to see in because it's looking a bit dark and would have preferred a red lid.
4:33 I always use a short L-shaped USB extender, so it is flexible to prevent drive from breakage due to accidental bumping, and to prevent connector from wearing off due to frequent usage
Thank you after seeing you review i decided to buy saturn 3 ultra after several consideration and meet some colleagues of mine who also own this printer i buy this machine love your others vidio explaining about printing resolution it gives me some new insight
Moving From machine with 4k 7.5 inch with xy 40 micron to 12k 10 inch with xy 19x24 micron is massive gap for me especially for post production
ohhh darn it ! I thought I had nailed down to what printer I would buy: The Anycubic M5s with a M5 vat, like your previous video, but this Ultra looks amazing too!
This one, easily this one!
I was wondering how the wargamer resin would perform at high speed. Thanks for making me more jealous of the UK (longtime tv Anglophile). Need to find time to set up my ultra!
Per your video request, I decided to buy this printer as my very 1st, 3d printer of my own. Years ago, I was doing some designing of models for a friend who got his first 3d fdm printer back around 2015ish. My goal is to print larger sized statue-like figures for my own custom painting. I really liked the details and all the information you provided in this video. It was a real struggle between this one and the Uniformation GK2, but due to the physical space requirements where the printer has to go, I don't have enough space to accommodate the pivoting up and back cover. If the Uni GK2 had a lift off cover, I would have bought that one in a heartbeat as my first. I really hope the Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra lives up to all the reviews. Only time will tell, and I'm ready to see what I can do with her when she arrives. Thanks for all the in-depth reviews you do, as they were the best in providing what I needed to know the most about when purchasing a printer. Keep up the great work.
Got her yet? And how are you getting on?
@@brutallica2944 I literally just received her in the mail yesterday. Got her set up and made sure the plate was level and ready to print. Unfortunately, I need to do a couple more organization redoing tasks in my tiny mini-workshop where I put it to get it ready to print. I still need to get some good gloves, a respirator, a cookie sheet or rubber pad, you know bits and pieces that are needed to really enable printing. It's going to be a multi-stage process before I can even get my first print done.
Hows it been?
I ordered the Saturn 3 Ultra as my first resin printer, and after watching your Mars video, added on a spare vat with FEP. Guess that wasn't necessary! I'm now super curious to compare them 1:1 and see which performs better!
I’d love to hear your impressions too
I ordered my Saturn 3 Ultra last month and its finally going to get here Friday! Can't wait to make some great prints with it! Great video as always!
Love you reviews and your totally right in the K marketing rubbish. Nicely explained about all that is important is the pixel sice. I'm not into miniatures but in to flat surface mecanical parts printing. Ordered this one now because of the light source and the steady Z-arm. Cheers.
“Damn you” (not really). I had just accepted that the differences aren’t worth the extra price, with my only consideration being the change in light source… and now you’ve basically said it makes all the difference. 😮
I’ll wait until your next vid where you swap the two vats to basically confirm that.
Also, I was shocked by the print speeds. To me that would be well worth it. To be able to start a print in the morning, and do all the post on the same day is honestly a game changer for me. So, thanks for going crazy. 😀
Same here 😅
Sorry, I only know when I know. i did not expect this result.
Hey Ross, thanks for posting your results and your sharing your uncertainty. Could the screen protector thickness + added thickness of ACF vs NFEP be accountable for a better light diffusion, reducing the surface effect of the ACF while softening a bit the print ? I expected the M5S and Saturn 3 Ultra to have different results if only because of the autoleveling floating screen of the M5S (that adds some distance between screen and ACF) that doesn't play in its favor. But I'm puzzled you find such disparities between models of the same brand and segment (Mars Ultra vs Saturn Ultra).
Not based on all the tests I did on the M5 series. Screen protector had no discernible effect
Really want to try Wargamer Resin... is there a way to get it in US?
I just bought an Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra, as my first resin printer. It arrived today and now I am currently waiting for Elegoo's customer support to reach back out to me. As my ACF file came damaged in the center.
Hopefully they respond soon, as you can imagine, I was excited to start printing.
What setting did you use to print that wolverine on the ultra what exposure setting
Ordered the Saturn 3 Ultra and looking forward to your Wargamer resin coming back in stock I’ve got a couple water washable elegoo resins on the way to try them out too interested to test the strength between yours and Elegoos’
Not tried theirs, we should have ours back in stock mid October
iirc, refraction is when the input light (to a transparent glass) is below the critical angle (snell's law), the light travels parallel to the glass surface, and refracts up at the critical angle, so every bit of light is parallel. This is clever. Or i am hopelessly wrong.
Damn it! I was so set on getting a Anycubic 3D printer, based on your reviews. But now? Hmmm. Any chance testing this printer with water washable resin? I love your channel, it’s my go to for printer reviews, keep up the good work ❤
I have the Saturn 3 ultra for 4 weeks now and Im on my third bottle of Anycubic water washable 8k resin - about € 30 , Its my first 3d printer and the quality and ease of use / reliability is excellent. would totally recommend.
@@patrickstack2741 thanks, that helps alot
you can actually clear the files from the printer and usb stick from the printer with a "format files" option in the settings menus. I've used it a couple times already.
Oh I need to check this. Would still be nicer on the front menu. But thanks
So can we order the 4 screw plate and use it with say the saturn 2, or is it incompatable?
i'm getting success on the S2 8k at 300 speeds on non ACF. Interesting vid and tests.
Hey Bud, I have received my Ultra, I got around to un-boxing it today, seems I have a PFA not an ACF. I assume the difference is the PFA is transparent not frosty as such like in your video, i can see the words on the levelling card like through a window?
I will be very miffed if I have a late Friday special!
Can't wait to get mine!! I have the saturn 2 8k now but this one is going to be a game charger with the speed
It’s so good. I love it
How well do you think this ultra serves as an upgrade to the mono x? Any cons?
I just ordered mine based 100% on your channels and reviews. Im ordering a spare vat and would like to get Nfep for it but unsure on which to get. Any recommendations? Thanks for all your hard work!
Great video,
I Love Elegoo! had their mars, saturn1 and saturn2 printer and their nepture FDM. My original saturn1's on the way out as I've got the LED wont turn off issue that I believe is a dodgy mosfet which only happened after I updated the firmware. I'm currently looking at the Saturn3 Ulra as there's 100bucks discount at the moment. I had wanted to go DLP so I would not need to worry about LCD screens but the printsize on the current offerings is too small I prefer the bigger print volume so looking at the S3.
Some questions about ACF (Its new to me)
Can you put ACF on older Printers that use standard FEP
If the ACF gives crap results on an Saturn3 Ulra and you change it to a standard FEP do people need to adjust Exposure times and what other settings ?
~B
ACF is fine on the Saturn 3 Ultra it seems.
You can use acf on older printers and you may not need to change settings but you’ll need to relevel.
You can still use normal water washable resins on this printer right ?
hi, i really intrest in buy this 3d printer, but im scare of the problems with the resin vapor, i live in a apartment and i dont have the option of a garage or a open space, what can i do, i here that the filter that sell dont work, there is any alternative? a good one? what can i do, to get 3d printer and dont die in the process, ejejej, thank so much, your content is really great,!!!!
Makes me very happy that I ordered this printer now that I've seen this video.
Could it be the resin you're using? Are you getting those lines using that resin on other ACF printers? Have you tried a different resin in the Saturn 3 Ultra with different results? Just imagine if its actually your resin that somehow can take full advantage of ACF.
Yep tried this resin in the Mars 4 Ultra too. Same typical ACF issue
@@FauxHammer So its the light source then?
@@petercallison5765 doesn’t seem so. Same result on Saturn 3 basic with ACF. So this must just be a different ACF
Im really torn between this, the mars 4 ultra and the mars 4, is there a washer curer that can fit the build plate for either the mars 4 ultra or saturn 4 ultra?
Also, say i couldnt fit all my prints in the washing basket, how long would the other fresh prints be ok sat on the desk waiting to be washed and cured ?
Minor thing, but don't I see a "select all" checkbox top left of the UI @8:30 that would let you select all the files and delete them all at once?
I've been looking at adding a Saturn printer since I currently have a Mars 3. My Mars is great and just works - but (you knew this was coming) - the build plate is kind of small when I'm printing larger miniatures. One dragon took me 5 print jobs to do. My dilemma is which Saturn to get? The new one is a bit more than I want to spend and I'm not super clear on how much real difference there is between a Saturn 8k and a Saturn 2 8k for print quality and overall build/reliability. I've watched and read reviews - and can't find all that much difference other than age/price and maybe build height.
Check out my Saturn 2 bmvs Saturn 8k video. Can you see a difference?
Both are still great lrinters but the difference between those 2 is minimal. Between the Saturn 2 and this is even less.
It’s there. But you need to really squint and stare for ages to spot the differences
Similar results on my 3 ultra here, was dumbfounded by your review of the M5s and Mars 4 ultra because I am getting crisp prints on mine.
Do you have the M5s and Mars 4? Would love to compare notes and get a wider range of results to compare
Sorry to comment on such a short video, but I can't seem to get my settings right for this thing. What were your final settings to get such speed and detail if you don't mind me asking?
I understand the complaint about power button and other stuff placement...
But if your desk space is tight, there's a whole other side you can put your wash and cure station on.
Great review, I think I will be upgrading from my Photon S! Anychance your wargamer resin will be available in Australia?
Yeah, this would be a crazy upgrade. We are looking to ship worldwide, but unfortunately, Australia is a difficult country to get product into at a decent price.
I am new to 3d resin printers. I am looking at a Saturn 2 8k but for an extra £7 i can get a Saturn 3 12k. Shall i go for a Saturn 3 ?
Would trying to print a “perfect” sphere be of any use to judge quality?
i wonder what the results will be if to put saturn's 3 ultra film onto mars 4 ultra or saturn 3 or even 2. i kinda like that noisy surface on organic models, this reminds me a technique which can be used for elimination of color banding by multiplying a slightly noisy layer on top of it.
Oh man. I just need to buy one already. I'd really like a nice breakdown comparison video of all the resin's though. That would be supper handy. What goo is good for what? I know you are mostly a miniatures guy but what if i want to print say an RC scaler body or bits of Gridfinity to organize my toolbox is any resin better or even goot at that or should I be leaning on a fdm printer for that sorta thing.
Yeah I’ll be doing a comparison soon with Sunlu Resins
Subbed and waiting. Looking forward to it.@@FauxHammer
Would love to see a video with you testing the Vocs and see if these carbon filters help at all.
Working on it, they don’t help at all
@@FauxHammer Haha okey, that doesnt sound good :D
I do like your videos and i think you are doing an amazing job, so keep it up!
How does this compare to the GKTwo? is the £715 pricetag worth it over the £450 for the Saturn 3 Ultra?
Come winter. Yep
I'm looking at the Ultras mostly for the wifi capability, but I'm nervous about the acf. How easy would it be to replace the acf with fep on yhe Mars 4 Ultra? Or should i just drop the extra $200 on the Saturn? Ill be printing mostly minis and masters for resin casting.
The Saturns are certainly worth the upgrade price over the Mars. But what most people have done, rather than just swap the AcF is but a spare vat and use NFEP in that.
The swap is easy
I have mine on order to replace my saturn, looking forward to the larger build volume,
oh it's gonna be a night and day difference for you.
Just bought the Saturn 3 ultra (to make minis for my wife). Can anyone recommend a good resin that consistently works on this printer? (and potentially some settings?) I have yet to find any settings sheets dedicated to the Saturn 3 ultra
Sadly the Resin/Company won't ship to outside of the UK. Any idea if they are planning to setup a storefront/distributor in the EU? Would love to buy but not with the shipping expenses and import/tax fees.
We are trying to do it.
My first print had a significant amount of layer lines. Might have been my print angle, but the distortions were more than I expected
The liniar projected light can give light uniformity of over 90%, other methods get between 80-85%, dlp gets over 95%.
I'm producing parts for scale models industry and 3D printed kits. I'm printing with 2 Saturn3 Ultra and I've ordered a bottle of your resin to be tested. Now, what layer height you suggest for better results with this printer? I understand good 0.018? Is that related to its pixel size?
Do you know when you'll get your hands on a Saturn 4/Ultra?
Awesome video,, thanks for all the info and demonstrations! I'm still deciding between the Mighty 8k(possible upgrade to 12k) and the Ultra 12k, which I prefer now once I saw your results, but one deciding factor is the printer speed and that I need the printer as soon as possible for some work related prints, I'm kind of worried about the shipping speed in the US with the Ultra 12k, does anyone have some info or experience regarding this, the Elegoo website doesn't give you much info just an aproximation, but any details of now owners of the Ultra 12k will be really appreciated! Thanks!
Don’t buy the Mighty 8k and upgrade it to 12k. Trust me, just wait a month if you can.
But if you need it now. The Elegoo shipping is hit or miss based on availability.
Honestly, if you “need” a printer now safe bet is a Saturn 2
@@FauxHammerThank you for the help and info! Yeah the Saturn 2 seems to be a safe bet as you mentioned, I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks again!
Hey I just found a delete all button, You mentioned the lack of a button to clear all the files in the internal memory. Its there just do a long press on one of the files and then you have the option to select all and delete all.
thanks, that's super helpful
Used ACF for awhile but switched back to nFEP. ACF creates vertical lines in the print. The frosty surface scatters the light and creates light and dark voxels, almost like adding noise to the light coming through the LCD. I'll take quality over speed any day.
Seen that many times myself. This did it do it
Did you try replacing the ACF with FEP? I did and have not had a single successful print.
I’ve been using the Mars 3 mainly for jewellery. My saturn 3 ultra is on the way but just wondering if I can still use any castable resin or is it subjective?
I have a Mars 4 Ultra. They don't lift slower than 100mm/min. Seems like a firmware issue that Elegoo is not willing to admit that they are troubleshooting. This has made mine essentially useless for castable resins.
10:33 Does this new build plate fits the older version of elegoo printers?
No. Sorry
bought one of these last weeks. can i ask what settings you use for you finest detail aswel as resin?
Please check the how to print miniature video link in the description
I know this is late but I'm still confuse how you able to remove the cross hatch surface due to the ACF film you mentioned on your previous video?
I got lucky, I can only assume something like my ACF sheet was from the end of a roll or something where the frostiness was not prominent.
Others have echoed my experience, others say they have had crosshatching?
My view, ACF is crap at this scale.
I got my Saturn 3 ultra 3 days ago and have been loving it but I got a extra vat with pfa so I can switch out for speed/quality and have been loving it, way better than m5s returned that for Saturn 3 ultra.
I can completely understand that, I had the same experience. Have you done a comparison print yet? Are you seeing the same as me between PFA and ACF?
@FauxHammer I have not compared yet been just using acf and have been crazy impressed but don't like how acf seems to dent/stretch easily
Is PFA the same as nFEP?@@FauxHammer
Impressive. I look forward to the follow up video on this. I am very interested in the Mars 4 Ultra, but for 5 Benjamins, the extra utility this provides would be worth it for what I expect to use it for.
I am not in a current position to get into 3d printing, but I have reached the point where I am no longer willing to buy most products by GW and their ilk. So I need to supplement my collection by going to the very niche boutique route. I figured this time next year I will be ready for it, and stuff like this will have had time by specialists such as yourself to exhaustively shift them through their paces. And who knows, maybe save a few more bucks by this time next year.
Thanks for the review work. I look forward to using your wargamer resin in the future, and I hope there will be a more localized distributor to the U.S. by that point, as more and more, importing anything prices me out of even bothering.
Thanks kindly. And we should have it out to the US ASAP
I just got my mars 4 ultra with ACF and my results are basically the same as yours on the saturn 3 ultra.
There is a kind of super small texture but no cross hatch lines or anything like that.
Nice!!!! This stuff is so weird!
why not dip the entire plate with print still attached into some alcohol to remove all that resin before you scrape it get resin everywhere? just curious, maybe im doing it wrong. I like to clean all the resin off then remove the pieces..pop them into a iso/ultrasonic bath..
I do t like to put my plate in cleaning solution. If has led to follow up prints not sticking
Thanks for your content!
What would you recommend Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra or Anycubic Photon D2 as a first 3d printer? The Price is the same.
That really depends what you want.
Small build area with very sharp but slightly pixelated prints. More was of use and longer lifespan before replacement parts are needed
Or a larger build area, still with quite sharp prints, less pixelated but a tad more bloated, a tad - most people won’t notice. Like 99% of people.
My pick would be a Saturn 3 ultra having had both. I print miniatures…
I wish it was heated too. I moved my 3D printing to my garage because fumes are starting to become unbearable and I dont want intermittent failures during the winter.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. what am I doing wrong. I sliced the print and saved it to my usb as a ctb file but the print tab doesn't light up for me to begin the print, ok so I saved it as a Goo file and it's still the same. It must be me that's doing something wrong. Please help me before the Elegoo ends up in thousands of pieces.
Thanks for the great review
Thanks for the great comment!
At 8:28, the screen shows "select all" and a Delete button. Unless I am missing something, that is the EXACT thing you're criticizing them for leaving out, is it not? Great review, by the way.
Sorry, that’s the USB stick showing. Not the internal memory
