Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Iran and Ethiopia Join the Ranks of BRICS

- As the world rang in the new year, a Chinese and Russian led group of emerging economies welcomed several new members. Egypt, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia have officially become the newest members of BRICS. The addition of Tehran was a surprise to many, especially owing to its long-standing rivalry with both Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, though all sides have been trying to mend ties recently. The alliance has also managed to bring together Egypt and Ethiopia, another pair mired in a dispute over the flow of the Nile River.
With the latest additions, BRICS now consists of 10 states. Formed in 2009, the original members Brazil, Russia, India and China, later added South Africa in 2010. The group's main objective has been to boost economic cooperation and trade among member countries. But many have called the bloc the biggest geopolitical rival to the G7, a group of advanced economies. The addition of traditionally strong western allies like Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have boosted those claims. Last year Brazil's president Lula da Silva called on BRICS nations to create a common currency, which could dethrone the US dollar's dominance, and its ability to unilaterally impose economic sanctions.

Congratulations, the BRICS organization will carry out extensive cooperation to make the economies of various countries continue to grow and the people to become richer. Germany has set a negative example for us. Its ideological practices have led to economic shrinkage and plight of people's lives.
I hope by joining Brics India and soon Pakistan hopefully,
China should mediate between these 2 countires to resolve political difference as much as possible so that atleast Trade deals should happen and I will like to see trade starting from China-bangladesh-India-Pakistan and so on.
And also will these countires be allowed to make use of Gawader port as China initally planned.
I know there are lot of political differences between Pakistan and India but I believe by joining together along with Bangladesh.
We can unite truly like in the past as a Subcontinent and become a major superpower where Countires Like US and Europe would never think to mess with us and try regime change or any other problems as they did in the past.

Bangladesh is possible but there's no purpose of Pakistan in brics Cuz brics is an economic alliance and pakistan has a crumbling economy which mainly lives on foreign aid and is currently the world's highest recepeint of IMF loan. It's economy is itself in worst possible shape, what shall Pakistan do in brics. It's not about india. Pakistan's crumbled economy and It's deeply rooted western alliance won't let them in precisely when West has the highest hold over IMF. And secondly india is the founding member and the second largest economy within brics. So it's purposeless to expect india gonna let Pakistan in nor Russia will let turkey in.
@@Judah_889 that's where I partially disagree the reason being Pakistan geographical location, Gawader port and rich in untaped mineral resources in Balochistan province in Pakistan, China and Russia both know the importance of Pakistan that's why China keep investing here hoping to use these things for their long term Economic benefits.
And that's why if you read independent news and articles than you will understand why Balochistan province is under target of different proxies attacks because US will never want Pak to be independent and rich of resources which other close allies can take advantage off.
US can't force India to deny trade with China and Russia due to it's strong Economy and independence but when it comes to Pakistan they will never let it be free from Establishment control.
So Yes, I agree that Pak can only join if it broke it ties with US completely and the establishment of Pakistan decided that it will not follow the US direction or it becomes a strong economy through trade and other means.
