Im inclined to agree, the involvement and participation in the war crimes marked the end of western influence. Syria was the breaking point, Ukraine and Palestine the large sign that showed everyone that the west has lost all moral, ethical and logical compass.

No downside to rapid expansion of the BRICS. Totally different than the EU which is harmed by low income countries due to revenue sharing. Ukraine would not come close to qualifying but current EU members might accept Ukraine as a virtual signalling gesture. BRICS need numbers because it widens intra BRICS trade opportunities and ability to avoid dealing with hostile (USA) countries.
They are doing the right thing. In Europe, we are going down the drain together with the us. Just note that the Ukraine is actually extremely wealthy in resources beneath the ground, and it is a big country with very rich soils. That is the reason why the west does not want to give it up, so they can squeeze it dry like a lemon, and Russia won't have it this time, they are right! They won't have it again that these corrupt monsters will exploit the Ukraine like they did all around the world. It is about time that these practices stop and luckily, many african countries are also fed up with it and throw France out. Let's hope that finally these evil powers will be destroyed and we can all live peacefully together and have everything we need. You have some misconceptions, becos the EU an G7 are controlled by Uncle Sam. The alliances are no longer democracy. Absolutely delighted to see how quickly you passed over Turkey. I've been so frustrated by leading sites trumpeting Turkey's imminent entry into BRICS, totally ignoring how deeply pro west Turkey cannot be believed and merely makes comments to manipulate. In fact it's failed, a dying economy and now both Russia and US keeping a distance from Turkey. Peskov 'welcomed' Turkey's latest interest in BRICS (not to mention deal on US F16s!) but he pointed out there are a lot of people waiting (geddit!). I suspect many in BRICS would be opposed to Turkey's disruptive and dishonest approarch. After Erdogan, then it's possible and desirable.
You missed a pretty important country-Colombia. Recently, President Lula, along with Colombian President Petrov Gustav, announced they would push for a quick membership to the BRICS. It's a strategic move in the region and would help their peace efforts more than people might think.
"42 joining" is a mis-statement. BRICS is building its own systems as it goes, and it can't take more than five or ten new members in a year. 42 have expressed interest, but it will take a few years to get them all on board, by which time there may be 42 more.
