Station Wagon vs. SUV. 'RX offers slightly upsaled interior materials'....not true. Signia is actually slightly better as I inspect during test drive of both.
I've had a signia limited with the tech package for a few weeks and have a couple thousand miles on it so far. I love it. My understanding is that it is called an estate car in japan, a better label because it is really not an suv. I think of it as a camry wagon. The thing I like best about it is that it is a comfortable (read simple) car to drive - the advanced features just work, there are clear real buttons for things i want to change and the systems including automatic HVAC, active cruse control, front and back warning signals, and messages to my phone which serves as a remote starter as well as car status monitor, the wipers and lights - all just work as I would like without involving me. It is worth every penny even before mentioning the fantastic gas mileage. I traded lacking a HUD, opening sunroof, third row seats, real off-road capability, and jaw dropping performance for a feature rich simple car.
I like the Signia, and I'm a Lexus guy. Don't need a vehicle today, but it sure is on my radar.
