I really hate the big wheel trend. I wonder how the ride quality and mpgs would improve if they'd put some nice thick sidewall 17s or 18s on there.

Same, low profile tires belong on sports cars. Unsprung weight, better ride and lower tire prices could be had with smaller wheels.

Just got back from testing both. If you compare specs head to head, its hard to beat the Rav4. However theres just something about the looks and interior of the Signia that is hard to measure. Has that overall "premium" feel to the Signia. Didn't like the Signia at first but found that the Copper color really shows off the design well.

Good that you did some long drives. How did seat comfort fare after a couple hours in the seats? (Not sure if you got the long drive in the Signia.) Was at a dealer yesterday, and didn't see a Signia on the lot. Plenty of their EV's though. Guess you can tell what is moving and what isn't. Any idea what is happening with the RAV4 for 2025? I'm a bit confused trying to understand Toyota's use of the various drive trains. The '25 Camry comes with the 5th Gen hybrid system, yet the '25 Crown Signia does not. Seems they can tweak the Gen 4, as shown here, to get more power in the Signia vs the RAV4. Not sure how turning radius pans out, but in terms of parking and maneuverability, the Signia must be pushing close to the overall length of a Highlander. (Maybe built on same platform?) Perhaps in the future, a comparison of the Signia at the XLE trim level. How did handling compare? I know the RAV4 Hybrid SE and XSE are supposed to have a more sport tuned suspension than the LE, XLE, and perhaps Limited, but I've never heard anyone comment on whether there is much difference. I like the XSE, but find it annoying that they stuck on those "accent lights" instead of real fog lights. They already have the power supply right where it needs to be. Unless these "accent lights" actually aid illumination in bad weather, I'm not a fan.

One thing with cargo volume is the signia is longer (like a trunk) and the rav 4 is shorter and more upright.
I think most people will find the longer space better as it is “safer” to use that cargo volume.

Lexus Toyota expert and engineering background. If you want practicality then go with the RAV4 if you want luxury go with the Crown Signia. Toyota had the same design on the Rav 4 since 2019, that is sad. I am disappointed though they don’t have a max option available like they do in the crown sedan and in the US market they are not coming out with the sport variant
The Toyota Grand Highlander is a good overall Family SUV. There is not much difference between a fully loaded grand Highlander and a bass Lexus TX now a luxury Lexus TX is a different story you should do a video and compare a Toyota RAV4 to grand Highlander, the Crown,z
