In the Netherlands you can by a Mazda CX 80 and a Mazda 2 for the price of a Audi Q7 or Mercedes GLE.

My Prediction: Biggest Winner's and best value for U.S. Citizens two years from now will be used Tesla's including the newly redesgined 2025 Model Y and 2026 Chevy BOLT EV (if it get's built at all now) President Trump will end all federal I.R.S. incentives for EV's in the USA, effective in calendar year 2026 or 2027: But another drawback to EV's under Presdint Trump will be the discouragement of reasonable pricing for most EV shoppers on all other makes and models, which can't cut the prices and be profitable still, leaving only the entry level Chevy BOLT and Tesla, which can afford in the short term to outperfrom financially it's EV rivals in the USA, (translation, Tesla can lose money longer than KIA and Volkswagon, etc...) The KIA EV 3, will not be competitive now due to high import tariff's , this should translate into helping the USA built model's like the newly resdesigned 2024 VW ID 4, built in Tennesse, but it remains to be seen how VW is going to face limited demand now that the 7500.00 federal discount is being phased out, so be very careful about which U.S. manufacturer's can maintain production and weather this massive shift in EV policy for the next 4 years. Translation: You don't want to be stuck with a model that need's repairs, and the parts are difficult to obtain under the new envionment:

Good video. I currently have an Enyaq, which is a seriously capable car. Skoda have been smart enough to translate all the good stuff into the new car - making for an easy change for folk like me when I get an Elroq. The EV3 is fine but the interior for me is a disaster. Looks better on screen but in real life not so much IMHO.

Kia EV3 has much better interior and quality finish and so much more to offer than the Volvo only not a fast acceleration. Volvo interim looks cheap and plasticky. Kia EV3 GTS 👍

Volvo is my dream car.

The XC90 has in my opinion a much more elegant style. It’s a beautiful car and not seen that much on the road. That makes it more exclusive. I definitely would choose the Volvo. I will buy next year for sure.

This is a curious mix of European only and US only products. I thought this was a German website? If you are listing upcoming SUV/CUVs for Europe then you might include Zeekr 7X, BYD Sealion 7 and Geely EX5 and perhaps other Chinese cars.

I think the VW Tayron does not offer a BEV version just a PHEV.

Really this isn’t a good comparison, the Spring is a true budget car, it has the essentials and that’s all; the Inster basically has €7000 of things that are not essential. If you looked at the Seat Mii, Sköda Citigo or VW UP EVs then you’d have a better comparison, all of which are more expensive than the Spring anyway. Why do you emphasise the range? These cars are designed for Urban or City use, most people would only have to recharge the Spring once a week! Bigger screens - so what? It’s the software and responsiveness that’s important not how big it is! The difference in size is marginal, so not really a major issue.

Two different cars for two different type of buyers. With all things considered I think Volvo is the best European brand for my money. However Volvo and BMW had better start recognizing S. Korea’s Genesis as a viable threat to their luxury car market share in North America. Especially now with a much brighter economic future for American consumers.

Am still confused , but I think the Kia just about wins it and will order that, I am just looking for something I won’t be bored of in 2 years

Good car review but :- Kia currently has boots on ground re EV cars, review didn't mention warranty, roadside assistance & service costs, Costs of running them both.

They are my two favorite options, however I think the Kia will be available many months before the Skoda. Which is a shame because I find the Elroq's equipment very interesting, but I think that many of us will not be able to wait so many months.
