I saw your thumbnail with the metal tables and I had to relay my experience. And tell you not to sit on them. I did that more than once, but the last time the leg bent. The back of my head hit hard on dining room table, a trip to the hospital no concussion, but a nice headache and sore head. Doc said I was lucky. I think God looks out for me.
God has bigger fish to fry.
I like the ottoman idea. Hopefully resting feet ok or use as side table. Like the tray topper too. Saw another DIYer use marbles or glass rocks for walls, splash behind a sink and a mosaic tray. That would be gd pjt for tabletop. 🎉 Keep up the great work.

GLAD FOR YOU DEAR. I HAVE M.S. POOR BALANCE FATIGUE. BUT STILL WALK. M.S. HAS GIVEN ALSO OPTIC NEURITIS....DOUBLE VISION AT TIMES BUT POOR VISION HENCE CAPITALS . I HAVE BROKEN MY RIBS ON LEFT BUT JUST NOW FEEL NORMAL. BUT BEFORE THAT RIBS.
RIBS TAKE LONG TIME TO HEAL. SO IF CAN DON'T DO IT.

SO NO I WOULD NEVER SIT IN THOSE....LOL.
BUT I AM SO GLAD YOUR O.K. NOW NEITHER I WENT TO E,R.
BUT I DID HAVE SIDE PAIN....COULD YOU BELIEVE I WENT FOR THE TWO TIMES HURT....ABOUT A TWO WEEKS LATER. GRR. THOUGHT MUSCLE PAINS.

BUT I DID GET PNEUMONIA SECOND TIME. WOW THAT HURT.

SAD BECAUSE I AM NOT LIKE THAT....THEY DON'T GIVE PAINS TO NOBODY.
I AM 57. THEY CAN FOLLOW PEOPLE CHARTS ON THE WEB NOW.
SO I DON'T SEE HOW CERTAIN FOLKS DR. TRAVEL.
EVEN AT MY AGE JUST 57 I WAS FEELING LIKE I COULD CRY.
BUT TYLENOL IS NOTHING AND HEATING PAD.
PLEASE FOLKS DON'T HURT YOURSELF.
SO I AM WALKING AROUND NOW CAREFUL.
AND THAT'S NOT LIKE ME.
THEY DID SAY BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF CALCIUM CITRATE I TAKE HELPED.
COULD OF BEEN WORSE.

I bought these last year and I use them as side tables and plant stands. I mean for five bucks they’re great.
I used those stools years ago when we had lots of tree rounds my husband cut for our sons wedding. We screwed the rounds from underneath…cute tables and memento from wedding

I'm curious, did you make your bird bath, if so how did you make it? I want to make bird baths for all the birds that hand out in my back yard. Any ideals for bird baths on a fence?
If you put these stools/plant stands, outside just be prepared to replace them every year because they rust and fall apart!

You could mark matching holes in your stool and in the Quick Crete. Take off the table then put screws into the matching marks head first when dry take it out of the pan, match the table to the screws sticking up from the top and secure the two pieces with nuts on the screws.
You really get what you pay for, using free pallets since you have a good saw could be a fabulous opportunity

For the ottoman, what about keeping the fabric closure unglued so you can store extra throws or something inside. You could glue those legs to the drip pan from the plant stand project so things don’t fall out when you move it.

I really liked the bench. I think I'd add a 3rd stool, painted them and used something like metal banding to stabilize the legs.

Yeah, those cheaply legs were definitely not made to support concrete. Cute idea though. The ottoman is cute and looks easy to make but, if you even think someone might sit on it (and to support all weight) I would add an extra support system like two cross 2x2’s 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah but ultimately it cost about $30. 7$ for the stool/chair, $7 for Quick Crete, 11$ for the oil pan, $6 or $7 for the glue. I could buy something nice to sit a plant on for $30

The $5 pot with petals, and I make my own texture paste, similar to Spackle. The table with the drawer top has a vintage/farmhouse look to it.
We lived in a rural area, and one of our neighbors used to go "thrifting" a lot. She'd look for a narrow kid's dressers and end tables with tall legs. She made unique tables with decoupage or inlaid tile tops she sold at the local flea market. No one seemed to know the table top was a dresser drawer.
