Hey Justin. Funny, I also run my GE-7 after my KOT. I use it as a solo boost. My GE-7 was modded by Analogman. Great pedal. Great sounds man. .

Justin…I swear we’ve met somewhere before. I feel like I know you, haha! I like the Boss EQ post as well… but the standout part of this vid is your bluesy and tasteful noodling, and killer vibrato! Keep bringing the content in here . I’m a fan :)

Hello Justin! 'Trust your ears' is the best advice and will be for long. Thank you for your efforts!
On a side note, Boss has been helping guitarists since they exist (and are becoming a trend, because of you tube too). People snobbed them because they are quiet cheap, but so effective (sorry for the pun!). We are all different, have different guitars, amps, taste and wishes, what might work perfectly for one person might be a 'no,no' for someone else. I have several levels of working tools (yes I do have a big rack with outboard gear), but also have a carefully gang of carefully choosen pedals for other situations. In case of need, I do have a 2x31 bands EQ, but for years, I had a switchable EQ, on my amp (an 'acoustic' combo, all tubes, with an EVL 112, from the 70's+a 'slave' Mesa Boogie speaker). In fact you could 'switch' : 'EQ', 'Volume' and 'reverb', so in the EQ I kind of 'stored' a particular (different) sound that I would use for some special part or as a different type of drive sound. Take care and once again, thank you for your efforts! Have a great day!

nice looking pedal board.. I run my ge7 pre drive on my 2555, and its always on, as my rhythm sound is also my lead tone...boost my volume on the board when soloing

Good morning Justin, my local music store has both RC boosters, including the one with a 2nd gain stage (v2), do you think they are both identical when it comes to the first stage? (The reason I ask is that they're both the same price)''
appreciate your help, and even if you're not sure what is your feeling, you have excellent judgment

I would just the v1.. no need for 2nd gain stage. Too much gain

I know there's nothing like the original No Balls pedal...LOL. But have you ever tried the Shanks ODS-1? If so, how does it compare? Thanks. Love your channel.

That would be a great comparison video and have had several fans want to see a video comparison of those 2 pedals. I want to do a video on this but I don’t have a shanks pedal at the moment. I personally feel they are different. Doesn’t sound the same as the Nobels. Thanks so much that really means so much to me!!

What's up! Great video once again.. I just bought a xotic rc booster per your suggestion. So would you run RC-Nobles-GE-7 all into a 90s Fender Pro JR.

If you run this pedal you’ll understand this video. This pedal is non negotiable on any pedal boards I have ever had or downsized. Good video and demo

way to distorted for my taste. I just want a subtle mid boost.
