    Me first Subaru and a Crosstrek Limited in pearl white, gray and black leather heated seats load. I love this vehicle does everything well. That's why consumers reports rates Subaru number one and a Crosstrek a best buy. This will definitely not be my last Subaru Crosstrek.

    After shopping around bought a Limited in CGK and this car just is smooth as butter!!! Anything better would be just more expensive and not even comparable.Too me this car has everything it needs and nothing you don't.Okay I just thought about the one thing this car is missing,I do think a heated steering wheel would be the icing on the cake!

    I love the more 'simple' aspect of the Crosstrek. Got one trim up from base model without push button or eye sight. Less things to worry about and cost to fix if they break down.

      Thank you for the kind words!
      I reached out to the Subaru General Sales Manager and he said “Factory warranty is 5 years 60,000 miles on the CVT. You can purchase an extended one as long as your vehicle is under the original 3 years or 36,000 miles”

    Gotta love these Crosstreks! While it is not the fastest, most luxurious, or best off roader etc.. it just has so many things about it that makes it feel like the perfect car.. adequate power for most conditions, a very well put together interior which is luxurious enough for most people, sufficient for light off roading, excellent in the snow, great gas mileage, plenty of ground clearance, while having a certain rugged and sporty feel all in one..

    If I get the Crosstrek, it will be the 6MT premium without anything else added to it, other than maybe the all weather mats. This is one of the few models still available with a 6MT, and that's my primary draw to this vehicle, in addition to the ground clearance, the AWD etc. As a prior owner of the 2002 WRX wagon (and the Outback Sport, which is the forerunner of the Crosstrek), if the STI/WRX were available as a hatch, then that would have been my choice.

    I have owned the most loaded 2019 Crosstrek model and have no regret ordering the load available as sold in Canada comparable vehicles in this price range; and yes, the styling is perfect and perfectly a bit low key not in your face that I like. The new platform is noticeably better than previous to 2018 models: the smooth ride, minimal lean in corners as well as traction dealing with our snow volumes in British Columbia on our slow to upgrade highway/s thru the Columbia to Rocky Mountains-can be lifesaving. The Eyesight tech is fantastic while following behind snail pace winding summer tourist traffic and those unaccustomed to conditions in winter. I recommend including Subaru splash or mud flaps as accessories, otherwise the sides and back are dirty and risk of unnecessary damage. I spent several months researching this purchase and other models and makers. Up to this date I have no concerns and with reasons for purchase validated: price, fuel economy, safety package, travel almost anywhere versatility, and comfort.
    As far as this video presentation, I recommend higher energy and more rest by the presenter 😎-otherwise spot on!👍

    After owning a XViS(Crosstrek with the lot) for a year now the best thing about the car which cannot be physically shown is after a long day driving about or a fair stint behind the wheel in all weathers is the ergonomics of the vehicle which creates a less taxing experience for a less fatigued drive at day's end.Super female friendly driving experience which tends not to be a focus in vids about vehicles. My 2 cents worth about the intangibles of this vehicle.🍹🍺🍾🇦🇺

    Can you comment on your actual gas mileage since you've owned one for a year or so? Seems that all the manufacturer's numbers for overall mileage are optimistic (inaccurate). I'm looking for a compact crossover like this that will actually get about 30 mpg combined.

    • @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville
      @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure. I get about 26.7 MPG and can usually go about 400 miles on a full tank. Obviously, that's a combined mpg. On a trip to North Carolina last year I got about 450+ to the tank(mostly highway). I do drive pretty aggressively so your numbers may vary if you are more forgiving on the gas pedal 😂

  • @Zomby1Woof

    I have a question about the USB ports. Are they for data so I can plug in my flash drive loaded with mp3 music files that I can navigated from on the screen? My current car can do that. I don't care about the ports being used strictly for charging.

    • @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville
      @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly, I know the glove box USB ports work with Apple CarPlay, so I would assume they would have to carry data.

    you said you had the '19 premium, any thoughts on the premium vs the limited? also any thoughts on the '19 Forester vs the Corsstrek? i am leaning towards a crosstrek premium this summer but also considering the Forester and a few other models

    • @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville
      @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In my opinion(!), The only things you are really going to notice between the premium and limited are; the leather seats, the LED Headlights and the bigger entertainment center. The headlights aren't that important to me, the larger entertainment center is not a deal breaker, and personally I find the cloth seats way more comfortable than the leather. The only thing I wish I would've done is add Eyesight to mine, because that is an option on the premium. The main difference you'll notice on the Forester is the size and shape, the Crosstrek looks like a cross between the Impreza(what its built off of) and the Outback. The Forster will also have a good bit more cargo volume. So I guess its all about what factors are important to you.
      I chose the Crosstrek because of the sporty look and the mix of features and space for the price. There is definitely a reason why they are one of the top selling vehicles across all of our dealerships!

    • @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville
      @BachmanAutoGroupLouisville  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      And 30 more HP in Forester if that’s important to you. Also the Forester has driver lumbar, more adjustable driver seat, rear vents and charging ports. I was comparing pricing at dealerships in my area and a Forester SPort was only around 1200 more than a Crosstrek limited. Oh yes and don’t forget the large moonroof on the Forester.

    nobody is gonna buy the limited. you get leather seats and a bunch of tech crap thats gonna be obsolete in 2 years. what they should have done was give it a better engine. give it a turbo, get it up to 175 hp or something. give people a reason to spend an extra 5 grand. without that, its stupid to spend all that extra money. even premium, its only like 1000 more than base, but what are you getting? orange stitching, heated seats and mirrors and a cover in the back...? thats it. same engine, same paint options, same transmissions.
