I'm watching this 3 year old video for 2 reasons. First not very many reviews on this trim. Second just helped my daughter get a 2022 Crosstrek. Identical to this one. Glad I found this. So one more thumbs up.
I live near Pittsburgh. Got my ‘19 Crosstrek Premium used. @ 35,000 I really have no regrets. And with the ridiculous unpredictable weather and hills, this car is perfect.
I bought a 2019 Crosstrek Limited in 2019. To date, 2/1/2024 and 10, 600 miles, I have not experienced any of the issues described in this video with my Crosstrek. My only complaints about my 2019 Crostrek, and I was aware of these 2 issues before I bought the Crostrek, is it is grossly underpowered which has since been corrected in the upper trim level Crosstrek, and the front seats don't fit my size. I'm 6'0" 180 lbs. and after 2+ hours of driving I'm really uncomfortable. I believe a seat bolster would correct this issue for me. All in all, for an around town grocery getter vehicle, as long as I'm not in the vehicle for longer than 2 hours at a stretch, I'm very happy with my 2019 Crosstrek. MPG has well exceeded EPA expectations. I've been driving since 1964 and I've yet to discover the perfect vehicle.
6 months into a 3-year lease of a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek (best car I've ever had). I drive 20K miles/year in Upper Michigan and this early winter proved out the AWD control and stability I was looking for. You actually have to control the tendency to OVERDRIVE the car - because it can GO like a mother, but it can't STOP like a mother. Considering snow tires just to get better stopping power in the snow. Downsides: Defroster is underpowered - and, while you can Remote Start the car in full defost mode that mode doesn't seem to be available via the selector knob. Weird. Also, on a dry road I had a pickup turn left in front of me, plenty of room - but it didn't clear the LEFT lane fast enough for the Eyesight System, which AGGRESSIVELY applied the brakes. I don't want a repeat on snow or ice...

Do you think it’ll last about 150k or more miles? Looking to buy one soon with 40k miles on it.

Went to Colorado last spring break and there was a lot of Subaru 😂

When the steering wheel is straight, have you notice if it leans to the right?
That sounds like an alignment problem.

Just got my three weeks ago. I cant agree with you more. I live In Michigan and its beem great. The defroster is a little weak.
Is it normal for the crosstrek to have a loud startup? Every time I start up my 2020 crosstrek everyone asks why it’s so loud.
Yes. If it’s a cold start it will run at 2k rpm’s till the engine heats up then it will drop down
Does the display show the digital odometer speed?
Yes!
They need to modernize the inside of their car cabins.
