It was totally uncomfortable, but if anyone can take that in stride & not make an even bigger deal out of it, Syd has proven to be ready & willing to be that person. & after watching Bachelor Fantake for 3 seasons now, I’m kinda thinking that it’ll result in Sydney becoming the contestant that’s more of a friend than a potential wife for Pete :/

I don’t agree. He doesn’t want any bullshit from these ladies.
I do NOT think Sydney should have gotten a rose for "opening up and being honest" with Peter. Her personality is dry, and she isn't secure enough in herself to get attention from Peter in any way besides bringing down someone else. The way she asked Alayah about her work was passive aggressive and insulting. She is the worst and Peter is a total sucker. He complains that Alayah is "disingenuous," but I get the same exact vibe from him. He tells EVERY girl that he is "so" into them, even when you can tell he is not. He has no backbone and I am tired of soft bachelor's like Peter and Colton.

Here's the thing. She didn't like Alayah because of her "fakeness" and it was ok, but then she lose the pillow fight, Alayah won and got a kiss from Peter and she was mad about it. It wasn't just "I don't like her" but now it was "I don't like her and she has a good chance with him". She even said that it was time for a rude awakening for Alayah.

Cla Lyrics She wasn’t really shown much, but yeah relatively normal until they moved on to the other drama. It was so weird how she was acting because I don’t think she’s like that in real life. Could be wrong but Sydney got her good because she only regurgitated information she got from Alayah.

This season just feels so dull. I haven't heard peter have any genuine convos with the women yet. I only like watching bachelor fantakes recaps.
It's because Peter seems to be a simple guy. Even when Victoria P told him her very emotional story, he just thanked her for sharing. Maybe they're cutting interesting convos out, or that's just how they are.
He literally repeats the same thing to all the girls. Like word by word sentences.

Alayah is every girl that Sydney hated in high school. While Sydney was seething and projecting in the corner, Alayah was unaware she had a hater and was living her best life looking forward to the journey. Although Sydney cut that short, she also helped elevate Alayah’s celebrity in Bachelor Nation. We’ll be seeing much more of her now.

In Aus' second most recent Bachelorette season, the runner up said that he definitely had moments that may have made him look bad that were cut in editing.
This isn't to say that Madison is actually involved in the drama or anything like that, just that editing can go both ways and we can never truly trust what we're being shown.

Alayah, definitely not my favorite, BUT I think it’s BS how the other girls called her out.
1) We know that most girls there are in it for love AND a fit tea sponsorship. It’s fully accepted at this point.
2) Don’t we ALL put up barriers and act our best in a new relationship? I for one things it’s odd how personal people get so quickly on this show. I’ve had 2nd dates where people spew off really deep stories and it’s just... inappropriate?
Don’t hate the player hate the game ladies! I personally love Kelly she’s seems very level headed and sweet!
Megan Warhurst the show format itself is odd, so you have to be vulnerable or show some signs of vulnerability as it goes on because the timeline is fast. it’s not so much of putting on barriers because you do try to show the best version of yourself early on in a relationship, it’s more of house dynamics vs dynamic around peter is off putting. all the girls are open to opportunities post show so i don’t think that’s a problem, but it is concerning that people notice alayah acts different and as alayah said to sydney, she can put on faces when she needs to or answer a question without really answering, so i think that’s what got her authenticity into question. outside the show and with a normal dating timeline, these girls would not share deep things about themselves. just the bachelor makes everything sped up and heightened.

Muniira Yassin totally hear ya girl! I’ve been watching since nearer to the beginning of the series (2003/2004 ish) and I’ve just noticed the “reality” of the show has gotten more warped and less authentic as seasons have passed (still love it don’t get me wrong). I think what got me about the situation is that I’m a big “he who is without sin shall cast the first stone” kinda girl, and I don’t think there’s a single contestant in past years who doesn’t act different on vs. off camera. Also, I didn’t love how the girls were framing it like they were doing “for Peter” when it’s obvious self preservation. But 100% agree Alayah is very much... let’s say “out there” for lack of a better term and could definitely rub alcohol fueled, very bored 20 something ladies the wrong way! Lol

This episode bored me so much tbh, maybe it's the whole pageant drama, the pyjama date that really sucked and the whole champagne gate stuff that was annoying last week, and still is this week. I don't know if the women are just more shallow this season or if the producers are really provoking everything...

I think Chris Harrison told peter that he could send Alayah home now and see how he feels. Then if he regrets it, he can bring her back at the group date. That way, peter gets to confirm if sending her home was a good or bad idea and the producers get juicy drama when they inevitably bring her back.

okay so i heard the craziest conspiracy about how the show ends. someone said that one of the girls gets pregnant at the end of the show which sounds crazy at first but when you think about it all the clues are there. peter is very open about his sex life with a lot of the girls and it would make sense as to why everyone is freaking out at the rose ceremony. chris harrison also says that it’s nothing we’ve ever seen before. and the biggest clue for me was the clip of peters mom crying and telling him not to let her go. which makes sense because family is so important to them and i feel like she wouldn’t be that emotional over just a girl. this one is major tin foil hat but i thought it was pretty interesting

This episode seems to be stolen right from Big Brother and poor Alayah was voted out of the house. Lame. Also, Peter seems young and naive in this episode. Surely he realizes that certain other women see Alayah as a threat (competition, another word), so of course they want her gone. It's this way every season. Come, Peter. And what's up with some of the women he kept! Are you telling me giving Alayah one more rose ceremony would be so terrible?? I smell production stinking up the place again and creating drama for the sake of "good television."
