Bachelor Fantake what are your thoughts on Hannah and Kelsey becoming close friends? It was jarring for me to see them hangout and Kelsey bear hug her when she’s back from the 3 on 1 since the last we saw them they were arguing about champagne.
I mean I think Juan Pablo is still the worst ever bachelor....but the fact that I'm even weighing it up says a lot!

I'm surprised you didn't bring up the weird way Fictoria got the rose. She seemed terrified of him like he was going to hit or start screaming at her. I'm not saying she's fantastic or that she's a good person based on the rumors about her, but it was kind of unnerving to see her like that and I wonder if the producers knew she'd act like that because of something in her last

Lightning pro I think that Peter is often mistaking crying for emotional depth, and that’s something he kept saying was lacking with Kelly. I would argue that Victoria F and Peter are not deep at all, but she keeps crying and running away (I think maybe as a way to manipulate him) so he keeps her. If Kelly had done that he would interpret it as her caring (even though it could mean a ton of different things) and he would keep her.

I agree! He equates crying with opening up to him, but not every girl is super emotional. I honestly didn't see a connection between him and Kelly, but to me it's very telling that his type seems to be immature and overly emotional girls. (Not Madi, but the other 3 and Hannah B. fit this category imo.) I just can't figure out what he's looking for...

Theres always an edit when the person is talking without their face being shown. Theyre trying to make people dislike her so she doesnt get push for bachelorette. FYI - there is a story team that observe everything in real time and then work with the editing team on the final product. The producers just create dramas but they don't mess with the edits, too much work for them.

Even if she is the frontrunner now, I think there is a good change that Maddison and Peter are getting some problems going forward, because intimacy is important for Peter. I think Maddison will have a problem if he does something like that with someone else. If he picks someone else or she decides to go home, I would want here as the bachelorette. To be honest, I am not feeling it with any of the other girls, so it will be a disappointment if there will be someone else then Maddison or Hannah B. Regardless of this, I hope the next episodes will be freaking amazing, because this season has been so boring.

I think he wants someone who is open and can be vulnerable. He just seems to mistake all crying as being open and vulnerable. He doesn’t seem to know about truly manipulative people and the tactics they use. He’s just nice, trusting, easy going, and sees the best in everyone. Which are wonderful traits to have as long as you are aware that not everyone is inherently good. Also, showing emotion does not mean you are weak or overly emotional. If you show almost no emotion and cannot express how you feel in words, that is not a good thing and it certainly doesn’t make you an adult.
Kelley did not seem like she even liked Peter. I think only her ego minded that she was sent home.

Yeah, that soundbite could be from literally anywhere. Could even just be her explaining her name and what she does and age and etc as an introductory from the beginning of the show! It was such a weird edit since she hasn't had a ton of screentime in general.

The producers are known for taking words that the contestants have said and mixing it up to sound “villain-sequence”. Anyone else think that Natasha is the Mike of the season? Genuinely likeable, mature person, mostly stays out of the drama but calls out bullshit when necessary, made it to the top 6 but was sent home on the one-on-one, etc.
I mean I like Natasha but for me I wasn’t really a fan of mike, I think it is different. Bc mike grew on us from his feelings from Hannah, Natasha grew on me from her character and awesome personality (not that mike didn’t have that but I didn’t like him personally for those reasons), I feel that her and peter departed in a very respectful way. And that makes me feel respect.
It was honestly all I could think, I keep saying how it’s a conspiracy. They always have a contestant of color make it far, but always kind of end in similar fashion with getting friend zoned. Sienne, Mike, Wills, Natasha, Tayshia granted she made it further.

Sleuthing time: So in an interview that Peter did, he said that he only said he loved one of the girls the whole season and that after the final four the front runner is very clear. He said he’s falling in love with Madison which makes me believe that he doesn’t say it to anyone else. Now idk if Peter was thinking about when he said “I love you” or “I’m falling in love with you” buuuut that’s interesting to me!
The producer probably wouldn't have let him say "I love you" that early, since it would make it super obvious

Could he pick girls any worse for him? Madison is nice but unless their conversation on faith was HEAVILY edited they both heard what they wanted but neither heard reality or covered basics. I'm thinking Peter is possibly Catholic or Episcopal or Methodist and she's probably Baptist. Does that matter? Yes and no. No if they actually talk issues, yes if they assume that those are the same. Victoria is a super spoiled princess and I just can't take it. Hannah Ann may or may not be too young -- but they haven't had enough time together to discuss it. Kelsey reminds me of descriptions of Carolyn Lamb and her obsession with Lord Byron.... smart, lovely but the original stalker. I feel comfortable saying Natasha didn’t really want that fool. Her and Kelley were lucky enough to escape and avoid wasting anymore of their time. Kelley is this Boss.

I feel like Peter is barely a Christmas Christian and said he's falling in love with her to change her attention away from it. There's nothing wrong with that, but he definitely seems mismatched from what I know Madison is saying here.
I'm down for Kelsey as Bachelorette. I think she's a hopeless romantic, knows what kind of life she wants, and defends herself if she feels wronged. She started crazy this season and then became more and more serious and got a better edit. She'll go home before the Final 2 I'm sure, if not next week considering she's barely in the preview, and be calm during the WTA. She might not be the Bachelorette in the end, but the producers think she has potential it looks like since she's getting the Hannah Brown editing treatment.
Kelsey is far too serious for the Bachelorette. They edited her in a way that we don't know if she's really crazy, stalker girl or what but since she's my final choice for Peter's pick I just don't see her as Bachelorette. I wouldn't hate it if they picked her -- I just don't feel like we know ANY of the girls this season.
I'd say Kelsey will be bacheloreete, she and Hannah Ann are the easier ones to manipulate if not Victoria f but I doubt ppl would want to see her.

If you look at the scene of Peter's mom crying, it's clearly a signal of where he learned that crying = love. She's a beautiful woman but clearly crying is kind of her jam.

I feel Madison should not end up with Peter, if her faith and values waiting until marriage, it’s best for her to find someone that has the same beliefs and doesn’t try and fake it. A lot of people disagree with me but he’s better off with Kelsey.

I think he may end up with Victoria tbh. He keeps taking her crap. Also, to add on I think she’s the one he gets intimate with. There’s a clip in the preview that show Peter making out with a women with dark hair and a black dress on. When I paused it quick enough I could kind of make out Victoria’s face. What I’m thinking is they start in the bed and make their way to the shower. Another theory, no one goes home after hometown dates.

I feel like Peter has trouble realizing what a “connection” with someone is.. time and time again, he hands out roses after the girls start crying (Hannah Ann, Victoria F, etc). Every time he interacts with some of these girls it ends in drama, but he takes that as it’s love. Something is wrong with his mindset. Kelly said something along the lines of “let’s have fun, it doesn’t have to be drama for it to be real” and he basically told her “well it’s more than just fun... it’s serious” so, crying about everything means you’re being serious? He also thinks that means they care. Crying and drama is validation for him. Hands down one of the worst seasons I’ve seen... and hate me for it but he’s not that cute either lol

It’s SO obvious to me that the producers/editors of this show did whatever they could to try to make us not like Kelley anymore because they know they wouldn’t be able to mold her into what they would want the Bachelorette to be if she was the next Bachelorette. Even my wife was fooled by the edit, saying that Kelley’s “true colors” came out in this episode. She hasn’t been involved in ANY of the drama up to this point in the show and it’s obvious that she deserves so much better than Peter (she even called him out for “rewarding the drama” earlier this season). I honestly don’t know who else could possibly be chosen as the next Bachelorette based on this train wreck of a cast, so I’m all in on #KelleyForBachelorette. Who’s with me?

Tbh, when Hannah B showed up at the beginning, I really thought that they decided that they were going to choose each other, but with a room full of contestants, Peter had to go through the motions each week while he was waiting for the end. I mean, they couldn't cancel the whole season after week 1. To me, this would explain why he sent some serious contenders home and why he kept people like Victoria F around because then there would be something to film each week for drama etc. So in the meantime, he's having fun on dates, and letting the in-fighting become the main thread of the season.
