Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit - MRT metro system is the most convenient and fastest way to get around. The system has over 140 stations, six different lines, and trains that run every 3 to 5 minutes, seamlessly and punctually connecting the island-state nation. The trains run from 5.30 a.m. to midnight.

The extensive bus service in Singapore is clean and efficient, reaching nearly every corner of the island and even running to and from regions in Malaysia.
SBS Transit and SMRT are the two leading public bus operators in Singapore. SMRT operates late-night bus services between the city and various suburbs from 11.30 p.m. to 4.35 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and the eve of public holidays.

➡️ How to Top Up Using a TransitLink Kiosk
1. Place your card at the mark on the kiosk and then choose the amount under the payment mode of your choice.
2. You can choose cash, NETS card, or Credit/Debit Card.
3. If you choose cash, stick the bills once the light turns on and wait. If you have chosen card payment, a green light will blink, after which you need to tap your card to make the payment.
4. Once the payment is processed, you will see the total amount in your EZ Link Card displayed on the screen. You can request a receipt or click no on that option.
That's it. Your EZ Link Card is recharged now.

Depends on how many places are you planning to cover. You can top up with 10 SGD, if it is less you can top it up again

You can check on Google maps the earliest MRT for your route :)
Like for buses we have to tap when we enter, and then again when we exit, is it the same for metro’s?? Matlab wahaan bhi 2baar entry and exit pe tap karna hota hai kya? And how will we know ki kaunsi metro kaunse station pe ayegi? Aur Jo aa rahi hai wo kahaan kahaan jayegi..??
Yes, do baar tap karna hai, once at entry and once at exit. AAP CityMapper app download Kar sakte ho for figuring out metro routes

It depends on how many places you are planning to visit and how many days are you visiting Singapore

Hello, If i'm using the sim card (inserted in my phone), should I tap the mrt gate/bus using my phone? Or is the sim card not physical (esim) thus the ezlink card can still be used for MRT/bus?
If you are asking about the 2-in-1 card that I bought, the SIM card and the MRT card is different in it. Once you take out the sim, the rest of it works as the MRT card

The seller at the airport even registered the sim card for us. So just pop the sim card in the phone and it's ready to go!.
What abt the remaining amount in the card at the end of your trip ? Is it refundable?
Yes, you can give the card back at one of the ticket counters and get the money back for your card and the value in it

Depends on how much you wish to travel. If you want to cover a lot of places at different locations, then you can get cab else the card is perfect!

Depends on your forex card and what charges they levy. It’s always best to buy the Ez link card though as that helps in discounts

No you cannot as you have to swipe the card upon entry and exit so swiping twice means it will count entry and exit together

There is separate ez-link card for child, we should take that. I did mistake, i took 3 adult cards, after 4 days I realize my mistake.
