This video was a real eye-opener! It’s so important to recognize the negative influences in our lives before they pull us down. Stoic philosophy reminds us that we have the power to protect our peace. Who else is feeling inspired to make some changes?
Wow, the analogy of the time vampire really hit home. It's amazing how little distractions can throw off our entire day. Thanks for this practical advice-definitely adopting the Pomodoro Technique!
This video is a perfect blend of ancient wisdom and modern practicality. Stoic principles like focusing on what you can control and understanding the impermanence of external circumstances are incredibly relevant in today’s world. The types of people we should avoid are presented in such a relatable way, and the advice is actionable-whether it’s practicing mental distance from negativity or learning to say “no” to time vampires. This video truly highlights how stoic philosophy can be applied to every facet of life, making it easier to navigate challenges while maintaining peace and personal integrity.
This was the most thorough video I’ve heard about narcissistic personality disorders. I have lived every aspect of what was shared in this video. I’m healing and I’m happy to be free.
You can relax. I was never going to buckle. I was i have had a long time to work thru' it.. I'm healed I'm fine and ready to go I am grateful for the this support and and th. ❤❤
This video really hit home for me. Understanding the types of people we should avoid, as Marcus Aurelius and Seneca taught, is crucial for our mental well-being. As they wisely said, 'Choose not to be harmed - and you won't feel harmed.' Each point made here resonates with practical wisdom that can guide us in navigating relationships and protecting our peace of mind. Have you encountered these types in your life? How did you handle it?
Love how you tied Stoicism into modern relationships! Learning to mentally distance from complainers and drama magnets is such a valuable skill. What strategies do you all use to protect your inner tranquility?
These are all types of people who can drain your energy and hinder your growth. Recognizing them is the first step toward protecting your peace. Setting boundaries and choosing your company wisely is essential for maintaining a positive and productive life.
If they had done offensive and against law, you should report it ASAP. and if its something you cant prove in court, I would suggest you keep distance from such people, they not only drain your energy but also negatively affect your mental health. Stay strong.
Everything we do in life is a choice, even not making a choice is a choice. If we allow people who have nothing and do nothing except have expectations of others to carry them and see kindness as weakness they will take advantage of that every time. A lot of people will tell you what you want to hear just to get their foot in the door and once they do then they take over, if you give them an inch they will take it all and if you allow it then when you say no more you become the bad guy. I've been there and I've paid for it every time, I've always helped out when I can, offered up what I could to make another's life a little easier and then it's always something, it's been my experience that these people practice their sob story in front of the mirror and the only physical work they do is holding their hands out, it's become an art of those who believe their entitled and if you don't buy into their bullshit then they threaten you and come to rip you off, but, if you're smart then they won't see the traps you've set, even if you just tell someone in confidence who's their circle that you set things into motion for anyone who thinks their gonna invade your space and help themselves when you're not home, let em know you're damn good at what you do and they won't see it coming and when they get into it it's not gonna feel good at all and might just scar them for life, that usually makes people think again about 'getting back at you' for not giving them what they want. I have no sympathy for these people nor do I have any qualms about teaching them a lesson, oh I won't bring any harm to them unless they bring it to me first but I will make them understand that in my world there are consequences for their actions.
That's the worst! Like, what's the point of asking for advice if all you get is "I don't know"? I would just say you should stop asking them for any advise, because if they cant help you in the way you want, then what's the points, right? Take care of your well being.
Definitely avoid asking them for advice with anything because you may land yourself getting judged, criticized, insulted or in an argument! They put no thoughts into your wellbeing, what’s best for you, they simply don’t care! They are simply too negative and flip everything on you and stomp on you!
Why you keep talking about my mother! She’s a cover Narcissist I know is not funny but I already cried rivers. Now I use my sense of humor to heal my soul ✌🏻👽

Avoiding negative influences isn’t easy, but it’s so necessary for growth. Thanks for giving us the tools to recognize them.
You are so welcome!
