@@darronaaaa362In my divorce I tried silence thinking that the truth would become evident. Instead, my ex wife got more time with the kids due to her false claims about me. All her claims were eventually shown to be false but it still didn’t stop the judge from giving her more time because of the initial light she painted me in. I strongly believe that my stoic tendencies hurt me in this. “We can’t give equal time due to the accusations “ initially and then “the kids are used to this schedule now” afterwards.

Silence is one way to deal with it but also can be harmful depending on the situation and person you are facing. Lost my grandmother at a young age to dementia, almost lost my mom last August in a car crash. she lost her legs and her ability to control the lower half of her body. I realized that not only can one lose a loved one to death, but one can also lose a loved one while they are still alive, in the case of my grandmother who lost her ability to communicate and suffered dementia for 7 years before she finally died. I could have lost my mother while she was still alive too, but she has been strong and hasn't completely lost her faith in life. She has shown me her great resilience and strength, as I've seen her go through a lot in life. But I realize too caring about someone isn't about grieving for them and worrying about them and imagining how much they are suffering.... it's about celebrating them while they are here.

Thank you so much for this wonderful wisdom. I learned to stay silent and calm because of these wisdom. It hurts me sometimes specially at work. I may not have that authority or power. I have to stay silent, calm and control my emotions. My leader is so sensitive, dominant or superior, when you didn’t make her satisfied or when you did something wrong that she didn’t like it, she will treat you so badly. She want to be talk in a nice tone but she’s not aware on her own mistakes and don’t even accept it. So for me she’s not a real leader who couldn’t admit her own mistakes. And when my colleagues tell her about me that I didn’t do this and that etc. my leader listen to her/them and then she’s gonna get mad at me and that is a one-sided. She should have to stay in the middle not a one-sided specially she knew that my colleague is a liar but still she stayed to her side and she immediately believed her. I think my leader reaction has a hidden animosity at me because she treated me different. Anyway I may not have authority or power God knows what kind of human I am. She is only my leader but not my Lord so I don’t have to worry much because one day everything what she has done to me will come back to her.🙏😌
