This wisdom is helpful for stoic growth. I don’t believe that practicing stoicism in order to deal with a narcissist will change a narcissist. They’re incapable of self awareness, reflection, realization, or admitting that they’re anything less than perfect.

But I don't want him to suffer because I love him. And maybe when I'm gone and he's alone I the 15yrs will mean nothing and I'm positive he has the next girl lined up. I wish the best. Bye.

I’ve allowed a narcissist to jumble my head up like a jigsaw puzzle and anytime I try to put the pieces back together they come and jumble it up again. She's jealous i might get her bf because i look younger that her but she's younger than me. My bf is her uncle i can't do what she's thinking, its immature mindset for me and unempath, my bf told me his niece is matured and intelligent according to her actions for me she's not, she doesnt know what is wrong and what right, she the only acquaintance i have encoutered thinking about those things for me. But its okay for me, I know myself i have respect for myself and others have respect me. I just want to look young and to be a cool mom and wife for my kids and husband soon. Thanks for this wisdom. I am going through a separation from which another family member is a narcissist. It seems that my partner has been groomed to turn on me and run away from responsibility and accountability. We are selling the house and it feels that most of the responsibility is thrown off on me. I am trying hard to see what I have done that’s cause all this. I look back in my life and see many narcs. I guess I’m teaching people how to treat me. I really never learned to stand up for myself with these folks I just continued to blame me in one way or another. Getting away from them has helped only to attract more. What am I missing here. As of now I don’t know how to best navigate my life situation. I want to change the pattern and the outcome. I have spent many years in trying to heal myself. I have not been to a psycologist. I haven’t had the resources to keep one long enough to unravel this mess. I will continue to listen to this video and trust I can make the change necessary to move to where I want to be. 18:33 Narcissist'ss are also very insecure. They experience resentment and envy because they were starved of genuine love and affection. It is said that they were seriously neglected, psychological and emotionally. This has led to them becoming this way. Remember protect yourself but don't lose your compassion. They are often empty without having this type of behaviour. It's very sad. Be boundaried and believe in your self.

Great point! Never give them a ‘taste of their own medicine.’ In my experience when they are exposed or confronted with their insecurities they will lash out to unwarranted extremes to get ‘pay back’. They can be a vengeful sort and know when and where to ambush people they deem deserving of their wrath…. Which is anyone that gets too close and starts to see behind the mask
