@@stoickingdom2024 Do their head in. 🐒 but retain your sense of humour and laugh. . . I did a lot of study so I could create a plan to get a narcissist to go away. . From this series on the Stoics I learnt to move out of a his immediate space, look very busy with my own interests, stay quiet and only communicate in a few words with positive terminology to avoid an explosion of negativity.... Conversational Hypnosis has taught me to frame questions with positive words and use a low tone of voice. . The less you say the more their subconscious mind will fill in the gaps... Strategic questions can create confusion. ..... .I used his flying monkeys to subtly let him know that I was stoic and my silence was like the lull before the storm . I knew he was superstitious so I dotted his space with subtle symbols that would freak him out. Why am I not surprised he has elected to move far away without me ever to utter harsh words? ❤

@@stoickingdom2024 Actions speak louder than words. I learnt from the Stoics to retain my sense of humour, my dignity and maintain equilibrium, to keep a distance but to have an image of success and to look busy with my own agenda. Some days I was tempted to study Locusta of Gaul but instead focused on the positive and accessed support from a doctor, a naturopath, a hairdresser and dressed in a neat classic but stylish fashion. I added perfume and make up so looked like I was doing fine.;;;; I made time for meditation to clear my muddled and traumatised brain. ....I adopted the view of a disassociated observer who does not allow personal emotion to cloud professional judgement. ...Communication was brief and I just addressed the issue and ignored the abuse and manipulation .... .. To unnerve the narcissist I kept silent and used flying monkeys to lead him to believe I had found out and was worried about constant surveillance from a private detective . He has plenty to hide so that was easy but not so easy as using his superstition to lose confidence. . Laughter was my best medicine. ❤ I will not relax now he has told me he is leaving but I will help him pack and smile as I wave him goodbye.

Many decades ago, I had nowhere to turn for this kind of information. I didn't know I married a narcissist until six months ago when I began viewing stoicism videos online. Not only did I marry a narcissist, but I finally realized that a sister is one as well. Do they ever change? NO! I had to leave the situation after two years with an abuser. This video will help viewers identify a narcissist in their life and then they should get as far away as possible from them. No one should have to suffer being controlled by a narcissist. It's hell. I recovered and enjoy a peaceful and joy filled life during my senior years, far away from both narcissists.

I hope you’re feeling better and are working your way out of this slump. I know its hard but try not to think ‘everyone’ is toxic. I know it certainly seems that way sometimes and god knows I’ve thought it plenty throughout my life but the reality is its just not true and when we believe that, it tends to become a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. We’re all just struggling our way through this life and sometimes we get it wrong, sometimes we make it harder for others but sometimes things turn out for the better, even if it’s just making it through the difficult times because they too shall pass ❤

What really stood out to me is how Stoicism doesn’t just offer a way to handle narcissists-it’s a tool for healing and self-improvement. It empowers us to break free from the emotional turmoil narcissists try to create, and instead, guides us toward wisdom, resilience, and inner peace. The lessons on setting boundaries, practicing mindfulness, and embracing reality are all about strengthening ourselves, not just surviving toxic interactions. This video is a must-watch for anyone dealing with narcissistic behavior.

Thank you for sharing your experience. You are such a brave and courageous woman! You asked why there are so many? My brother is a malignant covert narcissist and for most, it has to do with environment and in the case of my sibling; he had mental issues since a young age. However, my parents rather than getting him help, this was in the 1970’s, he was enabled. It grew worse when I was his target the older we became. No matter what I did, sports, academia, friends, even into adulthood he had to either do the same or input himself in my life somehow. I lost my oldest son 1/2017, dad 5/2018, and mom 3/2023, through all those years, my brother managed to take my only biological child and the rest of my family away! This way I had NO support system, he also did a complete smear campaign of lies and posted disgusting awful things so everyone could see. I lost myself for years, and still healing. So, it really depends on the individual, their environment, their caregivers when young, etc.

Don't sink to the Abuser's level no matter how much you think it would give you satisfaction on the contrary it's showing them that they pushed your buttons once more and you gave just given them more fuel ⛽️ to continue. And 2nd answer me this why would you want to slowly become as they are ?. And I speak from experience. Just ignore them emotionally speaking. Because they have shown nit just you but the world their true colours. Try not to become one of them. Stay true to yourself. I love you all.

Watch for that Grande Finale when they know you are finally onto their games, they'll blame you for everything wrong in their lives when it's actually their own chaos and confusion about themselves which is to blame. watch for fast forwarding, hoovering you in again and again, don't fall for their charm, it is all that they have your reaction is what they live for. Imagine throwing water over a mirror.. the image of the reflection is distorted... this is what they see, a warped reality which no one can understand, not even themselves. They are deeply troubled, insecure and feed like lice from their focus, remember this...they admire, de-value then discard to everyone they know.

Narcs cannot change even if they wanted to, its a severe personality disorder & like a kinda mental issue of which they cannot be cured of, either you must leave them or they will continue to destroy all the good you give, its so sad , but true. I have had to cut off both my sadistic malignant narc parents and cruel narc exes & its so painful, but sadly the more you show them love, is the more they punish you for it, in the end you should save yourself sanity and leave

One major thing I realized is when mine quit "talking" and started asking "questions" this gave him the upper hand to change the subject and take control. When this happens just say " I am sorry I do not answer questions, I ask and YOU answer" and NEVER answer a question. If they test you and continue asking questions just say "this conversation is over." Another thing to say is when they corner you, just say "why do you ask that" doing that takes away their control and YOU are now in control. When they answer, just say "I am not interested in that"

18:33 Narcissist'ss are also very insecure. They experience resentment and envy because they were starved of genuine love and affection. It is said that they were seriously neglected, psychological and emotionally. This has led to them becoming this way. Remember protect yourself but don't lose your compassion. They are often empty without having this type of behaviour. It's very sad. Be boundaried and believe in your self.
