As a believer, I find that seeking inner peace and relying on the guidance of our faith, especially through prayers, helps center us beyond society's judgments

Stoicism encourages focusing on personal responsibility and resilience by controlling responses to life’s obstacles. Through daily reflection, one learns to act according to values rather than following the crowd, creating an authentic, fulfilling life. Thank you for sharing!

Life has taught me I can only count on myself. But that's okay, I walk with Jesus and he is more than enough. HE believes I'm worthy, so I don't care about others.

Ah, finally a video that gives me permission to ignore my aunt's Facebook critiques of my life choices. Thanks for the validation, I’m feeling more ‘Stoic’ already!

I’ve been listening to BB for yrs & all of this doesn’t happen overnight. Listen to her talks again & again, it finally sinks. These concepts can make a huge difference in how you view yourself & live your life.

Your worth is not measured by others' opinions; true value comes from living by your own principles.

but on condition that the principle must be in harmony with everyone! if the rule is only for oneself, it goes in the other direction!

Harsh but true. No one will ever be as focused on our life as ourselves. Our souls journey is personal growth and expansion. The people who cross our paths are teachers, they are meant to help us grow. It’s all perspective. Ego death is key to true self love and expansion. The greatest souls we have see, known and admired know this. They are now the ones with positive influence and wisdom that we all follow. We follow cause of their example. They are the trail blazers. May we know them and be one. Stay authentic to yourself that is a true influencer to our collective

Absolutely, it's all about our personal journey and the lessons we learn from those around us. Ego death really opens the door to self-love and authentic living. I've explored similar ideas in depth on my channel, discussing how these influences shape our growth. Let's stay true to ourselves and inspire others!

Christianity is a religion. Stoiacism is a philosophy. I believe in both!

When you know who you are. When you know what you want and what you don't want and actually stop putting up with the bullshit and live your life then you're free

@realstoicjournal I just started following you and have a question: 4:30 speaks of changing the weight that other people's views are carried, and that inner approval is all one should work towards. How is that different from narcissism? Does stoicism tend to exile or demonize external validation? Is there any good that comes from external validation?
I'm just beginning to learn of the philosophy of stoicism, so any education is appreciated.

If self-worth comes from within, then why does my inner voice keep asking for a pizza? Maybe it’s time for some internal reflection… with extra cheese.

May I ask you a question, please. Is this voice from google or human or AI? I listen to your videos every night and I learn a lot of things. Besides, it also helps me improve my English skills. I'm grateful for that.

I appreciate what they do here. It doesn't matter if it's AI or people, the key is the message the channel brings. I'm very grateful for what I've learned. It's an ancient wisdom that transcends time. I absorb every single thing when I apply it in practice. It's so true. Let's spread the value of love to make this world a better place. I wish you and the community good luck in life. I love you so much.
