- Total body Pilates Mat workout using a yoga block.
Watch a quick preview of class: • 45 min Pilates flow us...
We'll warm up and move into some hip work (mobility and strengthening). We then use the block between our legs for adductor connection in our bridge series. That will move us into core work, focusing on deep core. We then finish class with some prone work, connecting to our mid back and challenging our shoulders.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
-Yoga block (this is the one I use: amzn.to/3sXdGzC)
If you enjoy this class, here's another Pilates Mat class with a yoga block (35 mins): • Pilates Mat Class with...
If you're used to taking Classical Pilates classes, this will be a smidge different. I'm trained through STOTT, which is a contemporary, anatomy-driven approach - and then I put my own flair on top of that. :)

You are such a talented and creative instructor- thank you!
That means so much, thank you! ❤️
My first class with you and I love it !!
Hip flexors, deep core, and mid back. The trifecta of things i don't like working on but absolutely need to. I feel so much better after this workout and will definitely be adding it into my regular rotation!
Music to my ears! ❤️
I do not think that I can love a class more than this one! It felt amazing in my body and I feel so strong right now 🎉thank you🎉

Hello, hip flexors is right! lol So glad you enjoyed class! ❤️
I have been doing some of your workouts and love that you incorporate hip flexor exercises. I have clicking hips and knees and the workouts definitely help stretches and relief the tightness. You are brilliant! Also love how candid you are. Thank you😃
Makes me so happy to hear!!
Great class!
Thanks!
I was literally groaning so many times during the class. It’s freaking hard for hip flexors, glutes and deep core. Thank you for this awesome class.
A hip flexor challenge for sure! ❤️

That was crazy good! Today was supposed to be a rest day, so i almost turned it off after the first section. So glad I stuck it out! I do feel great - stretched and strengthened. Thank you.

So glad you found me! 🤗
Loved it!
So glad!
My poor yoga block usually just sits in the corner getting neglected. This was such a great series, and it went by so quickly!
Glad you had an excuse to use your block! 🤗
Loved it! Great challenge for my weakest areas.
Glad you loved class! ❤️
Thanks.
Thank you, Lindsay! ❤️❤️
Did this after a 20 minute bike ride. It’s difficult, but more manageable on day 2!
Great job! ❤️
Looks tough i might try with ankle weights 😁
Oo love that!

Hi nicole what can i use instead of yoga block ? Thank you
A stack of books would work for most of it! And then for the bridge/core work use a small ball or pillow
Thanks!
