Everyones complaining about the process. But I have tried multiple different screen protectors for my Samsung with curved screens over the years and none of them would stay on the phone they consistently popped off especially if I had a case on it (even if it was case friendly). I bought the s22 ultra and a friend recommended the whitestone. This is by far the cleanest I have gotten a screen protector on a curved screen. Its not bummping up against the edge of my otterbox case so its not going to cause it to pop off. So far this is the best success I've had with a screen protector.
Bingo. Everyone might complain but if you've tried different protectors for the curved display, you would know that nothing comes close to this. Once you install a few the whole process isn't even that bad.
Have an 22 ultra with installed dome glass, OtterBox defender pro. Everything fits great! Screen protector as plenty of room on all sides so the case does not interfere it.. ie: lifting..

I have placed the glass easy enough with the help of your video. But I would like to inform everyone that after one month of use the glass starts to have little broken areas at the edges. The phone has never had a fall. I have talked to others with the same problem
Got the S22 Ultra last week and had gotten a film type protector from a company i had gotten tempered glass protectors from before. Was okay, but not even a day and it had visible scratches and I was constantly pressing out air bubble along the edge. The whitestone was the number one recommended tempered glass protector so I went this route even though the idea of liquid adhesive made me nervous. I watched the silent one they did and then you're once through each before attempting the install. Watched the video on my old phone as I did it and the install went near perfect. Only hiccup was when the glue immediately started veering left even though i had checked the desk with a level before hand. Turns out the phone had gotten a little loose from the frame during cleaning. But quick reaction time had me tilting the phone in time to save the glue. :P But anyway. Video was wonderful and super helpful, and I was much more confident going into the installation process after watching it. So thank you very much. Also. That feeling when you go to put on the black protection stickers and realize that you never took the new phone film off the sides. 🤣🤣🤣

First off this vid is super good, mad props. I will say tho, I tried to install this twice on my phone before any install videos like yours were out and it was a hellish nightmare, I followed instructions to a T still glue everywhere, maybe my third time I could get it right but one screen broke out the package. So I ended up with 40 bucks down the drain and bought a TPU protector. The company should legit pay you for this installation guide and post yours as the official video man. Needless to say, I'm sure the product works good that's if you can install it... Anyway, awesome video, but to anyone buying this protector just know it is tedious and if you don't wipe the glue properly it can ruin your phone buttons/ speaker. Oh and whites stone dome customer support is the worst i've ever dealt with.

Thanks for this, man! Great guide, way better than the silent one that whitestone did. One tip for people going through, it doesn't hurt to grab a level and check your table before your start. I had to start over because my table was really unlevel and the glue ended up rolling to the absorption pad on the side and I lost like half. Not the fault of the video, I just didn't realize how fast the liquid move.
Yeah that's true you have to make sure you're on a level surface. Don't try to do this on your bed or anything lol. Thanks I appreciate that comment man.

Thank you for this easy to follow, encouraging video! I'm pretty new to cell phones. Although I messed up the first installation, fortunately there are two screens in the box and I was able to do the second one just fine. Three comments: FIRST -- if you are as new to this as I am, you aren't quite sure which side of the screen goes down on the phone, and which up. It would be helpful if you could show and emphasize that the tab pull-off side goes DOWN. (Did I get that right?) I ended up replaying that part of the video several times to examine what you were doing. SECOND - I see that people complain that this screen protector interferes with the fingerprint reader. My experience was that my first, not great, installation did, indeed, interfere with the reader. But if you get it on just right, then the fingerprint reader works fine. LAST , you are obviously an admirable careful craftsperson. For your less talented viewer-students, if might be helpful if you could add a few "watch out" instructions. For example, it took me awhile to figure out that the UV light had a timer. Also, despite following the video carefully, I got a couple bubbles, which I was able to smooth out with that black speaker- protector thingy. So a few more "watch out for this" tips would be helpful. But I really appreciate your helpful, encouraging video and the confidence in your voice that your viewer-student CAN DO THIS.

This is the second time I watched your video along with installing the screen protector. I'm a mechanic and my phone gets pretty abused but to both your credit in doing this video I had the confidence to do it again (with a little less anxiety) and although I've dropped my phone quite a few times this screen protector has really done it's job and not let a scratch onto the actual screen. Removal of the old screen protector was really easy too, just start peeling and it all comes off.
@nightsinmalibu It's held up pretty well. I got a little impatient when installing the new screen and I have a few very tiny bubbles but you have to look to see them. The old screen came off pretty easy too once I started peeling it back.
I've used these screen protectors before, always had perfect results and they've saved my phones countless times. Personally wouldn't use anything else! Great vid!
Great video, I actually used your guide as a walk through with my installation. The only downside of the actually screen protector is that THE FINGERPRINT SENSOR DOESN'T WORK even with the increased sensitivity turned on.
Same, my fingerprint sensor doesn't work even after setting new fingerprints after installing the whitedome screen protector. When I need to unlock it it doesn't work. Just says press harder.

Yep, same problem with mine as well but a lot more than just the finger print not working. S-pen doesn't work properly, keyboard doesn't work right and games are also affected. frustrating to say the least. debating on trying other screen since I bought a 2 pack or go out a buy something else. never had this problem with whitestone glass in 8yrs using them on all my other Samsungs, just the S22ultra for some reason.

Just got my Ultra. I went screen protector-less with my S8+ and things went mostly fine over those years, but I'm not taking any chances with this one. Need to find a great case, too. Samsung's pokey cameras on the back are just silly, so basically we have to make up for their weirdness with all these third-party peripherals. Thank you for the great, concise step-by-step guide!
Great video!! Literally followed this step by step and it's worked perfectly. Previously had a cheap one installed but the finger print reader never worked. The only thing I was recommended to do with the Whitestone protector was, after the first 15sec light bursts, press down on the fingerprint reader for a 5-10 seconds, then do the 60sec light bursts - seems to have guaranteed the fingerprint working better than ever.

Perfect installation, got my s22 ultra today and followed step by step. So happy with result but fingerprint now only picks up 2/10 times . Re-registered twice but no luck. Screen is so perfect I'm leaving it and using face recognition. Screen sensitivity turned on too 🤷🏿
Honestly I've always had good results with it but honestly I unboxed it and literally put the protector on. Might take mine off to see if there is a huge difference.
@@MrCaribe65 make sure you've deleted all fingerprints. Re-register both fingers or thumbs twice and try both with screen sensitivity off and on. Make actually works better without screen sensitivity turned on

This is the best “How To” video I have found. Just a great job making all the steps easy. It worked on the first try. Now I have an extra for when the first gets cracked.

Great video but WARNING!!! I created a trapped air bubble by tapping on the glue too much. The last drop from tapping created an air bubble so I had to start all over with the second screen protector after cleaning everything off the phone. On my second attempt I tapped lightly once. Removed the glue harness very carefully. The results are amazing. So, if you see an air bubble try popping it with a needle / toothpick before continuing. If that doesn't work paper towel the glue off, clean everything up and start again because if you commit dropping the glass on it hopping to push it out it does not work. Oh, one last thing make sure the table surface is very level it makes a big difference on how the glue settles. Mine was not level so I used a couple of credit cards to make the tray level on my table.

Going to be installing the Whitestone Dome on my brand new S22U. Really appreciate your detailed guide. Keep it up. An update: just installed it. Everything went well. Despite all care, I happen to spot a tiny bubble due to a dust particle that managed to evade my ever so cautious scan. Nothing can be done now, sad. Also there's a rainbow effect near the camera, more prominent in white backgrounds.

Man, this is an absolutely hellish process and I ended up with a tiny bubble speck where the glue is initially dropped. Also, can't stress your work station being level enough! The glue moves rapidly at the slightest tilt!
I got this screen protector and installed it last week (before I saw this video that just popped up on my feed). It's by far been the best I've used. It doesn't even look like there is anything on the screen and it handles fingerprints and smudges much better than the phone screen itself. The fingerprint reader is just so so, even after turning the sensitivity setting on and redoing my fingerprints setups. That aside though, it's a great screen protector.
I like tutorials that are thorough. I watched a different video initially which skimped on details concerning the taping step. I found your video next, and it was perfect. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. It was really clear and helpful! I ended up only having a couple issues, after following the instructions - I ended up with a tiny bubble where the glue initially deposited. I'm not sure how to prevent that from happening again... Also I had a LOT of glue leak out on all four sides of the protector and got all over the sides of my phone. Luckily the stickers were in place to protect everything, but it was still surprising.
Thank you for the fab vid! When I dropped the cover onto the glue it did have a few air bubbles left by the time it had reached the edges (which did take a while and bit of tipping the phone), but I brushed the air bubbles away to the sides using the microfiber cloth before curing, and that seemed to get rid of them. Thanks again for the great vid! I bought my phone second hand, and there were scratches all over the screen. Now there are none! 😀

Great instruction video. I've been using Whitestone on my Samsungs for last 8yrs and never once had any problems with them. bit of a pain to install compared to other screen protectors but they always worked great and never had problems with them till now on my S22ultra. fingerprint will no longer work, won't even register on my phone in order to set a new one. also have found that the pen barely works as well. typing isn't right and games are even affected even with the sensitivity turned on. idk maybe something didn't properly work this time with curing or something so thinking about trying the other screen since it was cheaper to buy a 2 pack. hesitate to try other screen thinking I may end with same results but also tired of everything on a $1500 phone not working properly.

Hi! I already mounted Dome Glass on Note10+ 2 years ago and now on S22 Ultra, and every time I have a very annoying problem: light leaks at the edge of the glass. This glowing frame, right after putting the glass on, is usually broken in some places, slightly chipped or thickened. What am I doing wrong - washing off excess glue too much before curing or what? I am asking for advice.
Thank you, watched your video and followed the steps one by one and it worked out. Using a flashlight will help with finding dust / and I used a credit card to get rid of the air bubbles before using uav light. Thank you for the help =)!!!
Excellent video my man. My install was perfect. PERFECT. No dust, bubbles, dead straight on. And I'm heartbroken because the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. Tried everything. Increased touch and redid prints. Scanned the same finger 3 times in the phone to see if that would help. Nope. I've been using domes for years and this is the first time I've had this problem. My oneplus 7 pro was flawless with the dome and FP reader. My hunt continues for a decent protected I suppose
BRILLIANT! So much better than the official one! Thought for a moment i had ruined it when i knocked the frame after releasing the glue and a lot of it went on the absorption pads. After some time there was enough to still cover it- phew! Big thanks man.

Lol I definitely agree with you about trusting the gorilla glass version, doesn't matter what version it is, it's still glass and I will continue to use cases. I been wanting to use white dome for a while now but I'm incredibly clumsy and not quite smart enough to apply it 😅

Finally found out how to make fingerprint works 100 percent of the time without pressing firmly, do this one little trick hold down on the spot where the fingerprint is firmly for about a minute then use the led light on the screen protector again fixes any issues and you don't even need to turn on screen sensitivity

Great instructional video! Tip: use a flashlight to shine onto the screen during dust removal, it aids in seeing even the smallest particles.
Never done that before but I'll def keep that in mind for next time.

The tip of applying finger sensor pressure for about 20 sec between UV applications worked very well. I had not seen this before. Thanks

Great video!! Literally followed this step by step and it's worked perfectly. Previously had a cheap one installed but the finger print reader never worked. The only thing I was recommended to do with the Whitestone protector was, after the first 15sec light bursts, press down on the fingerprint reader for a 5-10 seconds, then do the 60sec light bursts - seems to have guaranteed the fingerprint working better than ever.

FYI to all.....like previous generations...the whitestone dome works well with UAG cases. My s22 ultra fits perfectly well with the UAG monarch.

Perfect installation, got my s22 ultra today and followed step by step. So happy with result but fingerprint now only picks up 2/10 times . Re-registered twice but no luck. Screen is so perfect I'm leaving it and using face recognition. Screen sensitivity turned on too 🤷🏿
Honestly I've always had good results with it but honestly I unboxed it and literally put the protector on. Might take mine off to see if there is a huge difference.

Yep add them twice and turn sensitivity on and you should be good. I also deleted my other fingerprints that I had before.
Mine is also giving me issues. I tried what you guys suggested, but it still doesn't work for me.
@@MrCaribe65 make sure you've deleted all fingerprints. Re-register both fingers or thumbs twice and try both with screen sensitivity off and on. Make actually works better without screen sensitivity turned on

Great video but WARNING!!! I created a trapped air bubble by tapping on the glue too much. The last drop from tapping created an air bubble so I had to start all over with the second screen protector after cleaning everything off the phone. On my second attempt I tapped lightly once. Removed the glue harness very carefully. The results are amazing. So, if you see an air bubble try popping it with a needle / toothpick before continuing. If that doesn't work paper towel the glue off, clean everything up and start again because if you commit dropping the glass on it hopping to push it out it does not work. Oh, one last thing make sure the table surface is very level it makes a big difference on how the glue settles. Mine was not level so I used a couple of credit cards to make the tray level on my table.

An update: just installed it. Everything went well. Despite all care, I happen to spot a tiny bubble due to a dust particle that managed to evade my ever so cautious scan. Nothing can be done now, sad. Also there's a rainbow effect near the camera, more prominent in white backgrounds.

Man, this is an absolutely hellish process and I ended up with a tiny bubble speck where the glue is initially dropped. Also, can't stress your work station being level enough! The glue moves rapidly at the slightest tilt!
Yeah def have to make sure you are somewhere level for sure. The process seems crazy but once you get use to it, it's not that bad lol.

I got this screen protector and installed it last week (before I saw this video that just popped up on my feed). It's by far been the best I've used. It doesn't even look like there is anything on the screen and it handles fingerprints and smudges much better than the phone screen itself. The fingerprint reader is just so so, even after turning the sensitivity setting on and redoing my fingerprints setups. That aside though, it's a great screen protector.

Thank you for this video. It was really clear and helpful! I ended up only having a couple issues, after following the instructions - I ended up with a tiny bubble where the glue initially deposited. I'm not sure how to prevent that from happening again... Also I had a LOT of glue leak out on all four sides of the protector and got all over the sides of my phone. Luckily the stickers were in place to protect everything, but it was still surprising.

Thank you for the fab vid! When I dropped the cover onto the glue it did have a few air bubbles left by the time it had reached the edges (which did take a while and bit of tipping the phone), but I brushed the air bubbles away to the sides using the microfiber cloth before curing, and that seemed to get rid of them. Thanks again for the great vid! I bought my phone second hand, and there were scratches all over the screen. Now there are none! 😀

Great instruction video. I've been using Whitestone on my Samsungs for last 8yrs and never once had any problems with them. bit of a pain to install compared to other screen protectors but they always worked great and never had problems with them till now on my S22ultra. fingerprint will no longer work, won't even register on my phone in order to set a new one. also have found that the pen barely works as well. typing isn't right and games are even affected even with the sensitivity turned on. idk maybe something didn't properly work this time with curing or something so thinking about trying the other screen since it was cheaper to buy a 2 pack. hesitate to try other screen thinking I may end with same results but also tired of everything on a $1500 phone not working properly.

Hi! I already mounted Dome Glass on Note10+ 2 years ago and now on S22 Ultra, and every time I have a very annoying problem: light leaks at the edge of the glass. This glowing frame, right after putting the glass on, is usually broken in some places, slightly chipped or thickened. What am I doing wrong - washing off excess glue too much before curing or what? I am asking for advice.
Thank you, watched your video and followed the steps one by one and it worked out. Using a flashlight will help with finding dust / and I used a credit card to get rid of the air bubbles before using uav light. Thank you for the help =)!!!

And I'm heartbroken because the fingerprint sensor doesn't work. Tried everything. Increased touch and redid prints. Scanned the same finger 3 times in the phone to see if that would help. Nope.
I've been using domes for years and this is the first time I've had this problem. My oneplus 7 pro was flawless with the dome and FP reader.

BRILLIANT! So much better than the official one! Thought for a moment i had ruined it when i knocked the frame after releasing the glue and a lot of it went on the absorption pads. After some time there was enough to still cover it- phew! Big thanks man.

Lol I definitely agree with you about trusting the gorilla glass version, doesn't matter what version it is, it's still glass and I will continue to use cases. I been wanting to use white dome for a while now but I'm incredibly clumsy and not quite smart enough to apply it 😅

Finally found out how to make fingerprint works 100 percent of the time without pressing firmly, do this one little trick hold down on the spot where the fingerprint is firmly for about a minute then use the led light on the screen protector again fixes any issues and you don't even need to turn on screen sensitivity
