HE IS THE MOST HONEST ! So many of these other people TRY to convince that the low end stuff they find is worth $$$$$. And the fact is- it's the kind of stuff that will SIT in an eBay store for 4 years with the final gavel of someone offering you $10.00 with free shipping?
Well, George, you've done it again. My head is stuffed full of even more vintage knowledge! You are a wonderful educator and you're so very generous with your time! Thank you and here's to much success with your upcoming show! 😊🎉😊
I so enjoy when you look at other vendors when you are at a show. I learn so much. Thank you for Sharing. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Heljoh, absolutely, George not only has command of specific knowledge about all things vintage/ antiques but also a real understanding of socioeconomic history! And sociopolitical.
The K is silent in Knock , it sounds more like nock when pronounced. We used to go there on our school trips as a child and they still do. The believe is that “ the Virgin Mary “ appeared there .
Thanks for featuring my beloved Rio Hondo critters ... I have bn collecting them for many years ... I love everyone of them ... And theres some ugly ones ... I just had one gifted to me yesterday ... Thanks made me happy
I love your videos, very cozy and so much knowledge and kindness shared with us. I love to listen and watch while I price and clean my items for the booth I’m opening soon! Wish me luck -Glasshopper ♥️😂
George it was a wonderful show once again. I love the knowledge you share! I just purchased 2 books on vintage restaurant ware. I have been interested in learning more about it ever since I purchased the airline bowl from you! Every week I look forward to your shows!
Interesting hearing what you say about the economy George. I’m minded to think of my mother who told me that during her war, clothing was rationed, so fashion kind of created garments with minimal fabric and notions usage. It really stuns me how the war just was reflected in so many different ways. I picked up some vintage cookery books, marked “book production war economy standard”. Strangest recipes ever - roasted cucumber anyone?
The wine rack usage was fabulous!!!! Love love LOVE the blue slag lamp. I was in eager anticipation for you to put on the hounds tooth hat😒🤓, but my dream did come through when you put the other one on..hehe!! The Eva Zeisel pieces were so pretty!!!😊
I'm really finding I like your show more and more!!Love the showing of prices-especially things I've never seen before! Good job-thank you for all the info!!!
No thank you on the rainbow heels, I would probably fall down and break something and at my age it would take forever to heal. lol I really love that piece you did get the bottle with the stopper in it. That was beautiful. Thanks for letting me tag along and letting me get some more good info on antiques. You have a wonderful day and safe travels.
If the goods will actually sell for those prices! In my mall customers are BIG cheapskates. I know that’s not the case with everyone else here, but I’ve been a dealer for 3.5 years and I am an eye witness!
I'm fortunate in that I sell in tourist destinations where people are not thinking about their bills and other responsibilities and have "mad money" to spend. I used to sell in a locally-oriented mall and it was very much price conscious
Thank you SO MUCH, George, for the great surprise laughter you blessed me with tonight!! When you put on that wonderful hat with the tag hanging down, you reminded me of when my mom used to wear a hat similar to that back in the ‘60’s. Coincidentally, her first name was Georgia! Thank you so much, George, for your always concise, knowledgeable, and fun videos!! 🎉🎉
I love Salem China from that era. So many fun designs with modernist looks. I also may need to head to Wildwood to check out the tarot/fortune telling sign. Lol
Always so informative, and I discovered my unidentified rooster and hen are royal copley. I always learn something new from you George. Thank you so so much. Your fan, Carol ❤
Hi George, to answer your question, our lady of Knock is in Ireland where our lady appeared, ( Knock is pronounced as if you you said I knock at your door. Hope that answered your question!
Wow! Good thing you had your new kicks on, that was a never ending shop! I was curious about the piece that looked like trees in the middle of the room when you walked into the last section from outside. Was it just art? A display piece? Thanks for showing up some mislabeled and fake items. It helps in the process of learning. Take care my friend! ❤❤❤😊
Knock, Ireland? I've always pronounced it like knocking on a door. Or nocking an arrow. Vintage rolling pins - my mom sold my grandma's glass pin with the wood handles in a yard sale. Sold it for more than you'd get now though. I told her to price it high, but alas not high enough that somebody didn't buy it. (sigh) I'm with that younger buyer about the neutral/gray stuff being everywhere. I went to buy a lousy bath rug and they were all black, white or gray. Maybe navy if you were lucky. And that's just bath mats. I HATE gray. Maximalism is starting to be hip; some people really like color, and vintage = recycling so it's in too.
That is a good year because of the limited production due to the Communist Revolution in China. It will sell for more if you're willing to pay a grading company to seal and grade it, and then would go for the most online
Out of all the you tubers that do vintage/antique you teach us the most, you know your stuff❤️ thanks
Thank you! I try hard to show a lot of variety and tell what I think might be helpful

A walking encyclopedia!! I've learned alot over the years, but one thing I know is, the more you know, the more you know you don't know...
That's a fact, I learn new stuff all the time! It keeps me interested in all this
Stay safe, take care of yourself, many of us feel you are a personal friend of ours !

I always enjoy and learn something from your videos ! Thanks !

Thank you, I used to know the colors better. I really need to review the books again

I really like showing what other people have, it makes me more knowledgable and shows why going to real world shows can be a lot of fun!
Heljoh, absolutely, George not only has command of specific knowledge about all things vintage/ antiques but also a real understanding of socioeconomic history!

Plus he graciously shares with other dealers and viewers!
I can't think of a nicer compliment! I try to bring that to the objects we love and remember
And you do, George
There is no George video I don't love! Thank you, as always, for sharing your expertise and taking us along for the adventure.
Thank you Susan! Great to see you here again
Love those corner cabinets

I'm so glad! I just sold three of them, I've known a few collectors and had the booklet about them at one time
I had never seen any, that was also interesting

-Glasshopper ♥️😂
That's terrific! I hope you do great. Try to have the cheapest one, the best one or the only one in the mall, and you stand a chance of good success
I would love to shop in the booth with all the old kitchen utensils! They are still very useful!
You and Dr.Lori are the most informative TH-camrs.
But she put George down in one video so I stopped watching her. Her ego is too big.
The young woman, you spoke of, is likely not a fan of all the rooms painted grey either ! I agreebwith her! 😅 😂
I like grey as a neutral but it needs color to not seem dull
I love the children’s sets🥰
So knowledgeable. Really enjoy all his videos. I learn so much🌻🌼

I've still got my mother's green wooden handle hand mixer 😊 I still use it too! Very comfortable to hold compared to the modern ones

There's a cool shop outside Minneapolis (or was) that had hundreds of TV lamps. Had never seen so many ! 💡

Good sign, yes! Salem is really underrated, I especially like the Tri-Corn patterns

HI GEORGE- T G Green has a collectible Cornish ware rolling pin. It wasn’t used much because of the raised blue and white
That's neat! I like those a lot

😂 Oxymoron, New Antiques, but we know just what you mean ! New to viewer to see with you 😅
I forgot about holly hobbie. Icon when I was a kid.
Hi! What show were you here for? I obviously missed it but I’d like to know what to look out for. Thanks
Very interesting items there! I have a tour of an antique house with a lot of antiques and vintage things in it if anyone is interested!
I love the glass baskets...but yes...they take up too much space...
There’s a huge antique mall near by pink building check it out it’s over 20 thousand square feet

The framed stained glass palm tree piece gives me such anxiety sitting in the floor, so apt to be kicked or knocked over.

Knock = “Nok,” just as here. ☘️ p.s. The Lladro “friar” is Pope Benedict XVI.
