😱😱😱😱😱I had that purse with the colored beads! Yours is black, mine was purple! I had forgotten about it! WOW! Blast from the past! It was my “hippy” purse!😅❤
Please, remember to Email, with "share " to your friends!! We can Support all that George is doing !
Hi George...thank you for all your knowledge. 😊 I especially like when you not only say what you paid for an item but also what you expect to get for it reselling. And of course all your knowledge on the item itself. Thanks again. Hoping your travels find you one day in Ontario Canada. 😊
Love the Moroccan box!!
George, just a FYI for ya! The pattern on the afgans is called a granny square, very popular!
Those old tinker repairs are fascinating. I read an article recently about tv lamps. Apparently there is something to the idea of a lamp over a TV to protect your vision. They are now making light bars for flat screens. My grandmother insisted we turn the light on when watching TV - even in the daytime! I can't remember what hers was, but it was a big honkin' one. Probably Asian. She loved Asian things.
My dad always said that , don’t watch the TV in the dark it’s bad for your eyes. We had a small lamp to turn on.
There must be some truth in that. 📺
I remember being told that at other people's houses! I imagine the size and light source of today's TV's are different, there may be something to that
Some great picks!! I especially loved the purse size perfume bottle collection and the Max Factor 37:53 Cat… I had one!!! 🐈⬛🖤
I can’t wait to see your video from Palm Beach , that my favorite show.
Im not moving to Georgia, but will have the freedom to visit Florida and travel flea markets and shows. See you in my travels.
“Shell-encrusted anything is good in Florida.” So true. And made me giggle. 😊
What a vast variety of vintage items you have to sell this year! I love when you hunt for things the way you take into consideration all your different venues you sell these items in. Thanks for sharing again!!!
That was such an amazing mass of treasures! I love how diverse your inventory is. I guess that’s the smartest way to buy, isn’t it? Safe travels dear George. ❤️
I don't know if it's smart, but it's all I know because I became a dealer before specialized selling was as easy as it is today
@@TheAntiqueNomad I think it makes the most sense in the real world of booths and shows. Everyone can shop and find something fun! I think it draws more shoppers. 🥰
Great finds. Thankyou for sharing.
What a fun collection
Wow! So many beautiful new treasures!
My heart really went pitter pat over the shower curtain!!!
I am addicted to your channel George, I learn so much. In this program you showed my great Aunts dish "the Fenton heart shaped nappy", hers is teal though....I always wondered if it was a Fenton. I have quite a few little post-it markers in various dishes which I have descriptions via your video's. I live a couple blocks away from you and keep hoping to run into you to say thanks in person.....you are illusive!....LOL! Thanks for all you do to teach us, Stevie
Wonderful! I'm always so happy when I show something that triggers a memory for someone. I'm not sure which neighborhood, I'm all over the place lol!
Your videos are very informative. Lovely antique & vintage items.
Serpentine in a seashore sort of way.. 😂 You’re going to make a lot of people happy with all these amazing items. Those little perfume bottles are amazing!!
I love how knowledgeable you and your videos are! It's the mystery then learning the history of pieces I find that makes vintaging, hunting and thrifting fun for me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and finds!
Oh those guilloche perfumes. 😱 And the garnets. 🥹
14:31 wow! That box! 30:54 those Viking orange pieces are lovely. I have never liked orange color in my life but I’m slowly collecting orange glass and other 70s pieces in my living room. 😂
What fun acquisitions; I hope you sell out and wish I could go. Good luck, George!
Love the guilloche! And garnets. And orange glass. I've become a fan of orange after avoiding it for years
I love custard glass! Sooo many beautiful goodies. I don’t know how you don’t just want to keep everything…
I love most red glass and raspberry glass. Great video ❤😊 thanks George
I do too, it'll be fun to mix it with white instead of other bright colors this time
🎉enjoyable
George, wow what an amazing variety of treasures! Love the 20s beaded purses and the little perfume bottles and so much more! Well done! Oh, and on a side note, love the Carpenters, my favorite song is Goodbye to love, that guitar solo in that song is great! 1970s was a great time to be a teenager!
Really enjoyed this! You really got some interesting and fun things! Should be a really great show.
Hi George! Looked like you set up shop in your Moms place. 😊 it does help to be able to spread it out and get a good idea of set up. I love the BK Scarf. It was kinda pretty. And it's Def retro. I'd say you did amazing for all the shopping. I hope Xeno forgave you. He dud a little cartoon take when you said how much you spent last week! Lol
I did, and it helped! Lol, Xeno doesn't always understand the economics of my side of the business
What an amazing haul. Your knowledge of so many different kinds of antiques is fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing. What fun!
Looove the fireplace screen! You did good George:)
As a child of the 70s, I always love a black panther. I'm also happy you're back in FL, George. Yay! St. Pete misses you.
Came back today, wasn't able to finish yesterday, woderful purchases, George !
I really enjoyed this. I saw a few things I have and more than a few things I want. For some strange reason I have never came across the little Blue Bird of happiness. I feel I need it. 😊❤❤❤♥️
Oh George….Such a life you live!
Always enjoyable ❤
The Ruby Red embossed vase is Anchor Hocking, “Rainflower.”
Great! Thank you. I should've thought to look for the small anchor in square but I didn't see any mark at first glance
Great show!
Great finds!
Great video George! Thanks for sharing!
Good evening, George! Was that a mini silver funnel on the table? I _really_ liked that. I liked the Queen Victoria pieces, too. You got spectacular pieces! The Belleek "Shamrock" is my favourite Belleek pattern. I really liked the Weiland humpback whales figure. He does fantastic artwork. I liked that orca figure, too. Loved the Victorian escutcheon plates. A collection of those looks super-good in a frame. I've actually made bookends using bronze Victorian escutcheon plates. That Wedgwood "Spirit of Ecstasy" plate is fantastic! Never seen that before now. Love that! I liked the bell with the cast iron handle. Super-nice items! Thanks for showing us all of it!
Hi, Mark! It was a mini funnel, I really am enjoying this collection and the Queen Vic pieces are particularly interesting to me, the client didn't mention those on the phone so they were a nice surprise. I really enjoy old hardware of all kinds! I've only had the Spirit tray a few times in the past. The cast iron handle was my favorite bell, I liked it almost as much as the fire screen! Glad this was fun for you
@@TheAntiqueNomad Do you have the funnel for sale? I might be interested in that, if you do still have it...I could find a place to put something that small 😂 I'd like to have the "Spirit of Ecstasy" tray, but I can't think of anywhere I could put it.
Wow!! You lucky dog. Great video George!
You have the best taste George.
I always love what you purchase.
Also you have an amazing talent when it comes to staging the items.
Your color coding is always eye catching. ♡
💜💙💚💗💚💙💜
Thank you! I try hard, I really don't know how else to do it when you're arranging so many disparate things in one place
Hello from Australia. Always enjoy your videos George and learn alot from them. I lived in Japan for 17 years and collected and studied Asian antiques. Older ceramic pieces from both China and Japan tend to have a deeper foot. The carved Japanese lid is Kamakura-bori lacquerware from Kamakura in the Kanagawa Prefecture.
i can't get over the beautiful items but also the lack of dust on anything is just amazing!!! i wish
Love the turquoise rings
Awesome collection!!
You're living my dream. Shopping, traveling and selling. I love watching your channel because I learn new things and I enjoy your travels. ❤
So many wonderful treasures🥰
I have never known of purse perfume holder, some look like pendants. Lovely
Great video. Those little perfume bottles are total eye candy.
Love the variety and your smiling friendly face.
We hardly can find anything where I live on Vancouver Island. But I love you explaining everything in case I magically find something!
I believe your red flower brooch missing a rhinestone is Austria. I had a signed pair of Austria clip on earrings with the same rhinestones. Yours is the second time I've ever seen those stones used, so godspeed!
Love your mesh handbags❣️
Great buys!
Thrifting is so much fun! Thank you for sharing.
Hanging on every word and learning and following..I think I need someone to come and buy from my house as its overtaking and I need room again..and help so I can get back to creating again
Hi George, great haul! Love the purse perfumes, but my favorite is the Viking orange oblong dish. They came in every color and are hard to find. I paid $75 for mine in amethyst. Have a great show. Wish I was there! 9a.
Awesome video
I love that "mastermind" purse! I thought the same thing!
Wowza, what an awesome haul! ✌️ & ❤
I know Rhinestone Rosie on Queen Anne Hill, Seattle ! Right next to Targy’s Tavern, our neighborhood stomping ground ! 😝
Love watching your channel. I only wish you did some east coast shows!
I have collected Rio Hondo for years and years ... I love it intensely... I have A LOT of it and got a new piece yesterday yay
I have an esquire magazine salesman’s business card for sale. It’s from 1949 and it’s very unique. I’ve had it quite a while and it is priced high because I have not been able to find anything like it. It’s neat to see the magazine with very similar images on it.
Wild George, that was absolutely brilliant. You have some very, very nice things love the facial hair.❤😊😊😊❤
Amazing finds. I love all the perfume bottles and compacts. I am always drawn to handled baskets and have a small collection. Good luck at your next sale.
Ivy Ball, aka Rose Bowl.
I am gobsmacked at all the wonderful goodies, George. The absolutely beautiful collection of antique perfume vials & and purses and jewelry is amazing. And, yes, I also go down rabbit holes with your videos. 😂 Oh, how I wish I could attend one of your sales. Thank you so much for the wonderful content you bring to us. When are you coming back through Havana, FL?🫢😂🩷
Beautiful items. I love the stain glass and brass fire screen! Wish I had that! Best wishes to you and Zeno.
Thanks George! Have a good one!
30:20 Israeli glass - the pair of them. It's usually quite thin and that pink/yellow/purple coloration is unmistakable. I buy it whenever I find it going cheap. Once in a while you find a marked one but most aren't. Or aren't any more. Clear plastic labels with gold lettering don't hold up well. Found one of those weighted sterling bud vases at an estate sale. THe lady said she'd give me a "deal" at $20. No thanks. Sold me two sterling spoons for about a buck each instead.
I find this glass confusing, the Israeli pieces I've had that were marked had browner tones and the US and Canadian versions were more to these tones. The style and type was made by three firms at least that I know of, I'll start looking for marked pieces! $20 is not a deal, that's what the bud vase is worth lol. Funny she didn't value the spoons
I love that you know and share so much info on the different items too. I thought those glasses with the blue/gold star flower? on them were Libbey but you said "sputnik" I have seen them before but didn't pick them up. Me and glassware don't get along to great I get a bit careless at times. Have a great day and safe travels
You can still mail wood items. I’m a mail carrier and I’ve delivered wooden postcards. You would have to pay extra postage however.
Love the jewelry and tiny perfume bottles ❤
Ty for sharing your fabulous finds!
Omg, you got a bunch of great stuff! I'm glad/sad I don't live in Florida to pick it all up!
Great info and video , thanks
Wyland is very well known here in KeyWest too!🐋
Nice finds
My mom still gets magazines and the newest Better Homes and Gardens has an article on the beaded flowers.
George, do you ever publish a schedule of shows where you will be? I'd love to make plans to be at a show where you would be!
Can't believe you had all of those perfume bottles. I used to collect them but see so few really good ones since living in FL. Wish I had found you at Mt Dora.
Btw...it's pronounced "side-en-stricker..like sticker".
My family were friends with some of them when we lived on the Cape, and my mom and grandfather worked for the town of Brewster.
Good times in the 70's and 80's living there. 😊
Love your videos!
I just picked up a shadow box like the one behind you! It's identical to the one I grew up with, and I'm tucking it tactfully away in my 1850s Victorian home.
Very cool finds! And always fun. I JUST bought a brass "Latin" bell like the one you have! I guess I'm on the right track.😂
Thanks for sharing! Great buys!❤
The black cat with perfume, I bought for my Mother for Mothers day paid $1.97 , 1960? In the corner drug store paid with my saved pennies, clerk counted everyone of the pennies!😅
George , you are such an educator. Love your videos ❤
Those pheasants ❤
Great video George. So many fabulous pieces. But I think the stained glass fireplace screen is my favorite. What a find.
Best video yet! Thanks for the great information.
👌👌👌
Thank you for sharing
I luv compacts cant wait fore you to see my collection
I really want to buy the heron! I collect these!
Watching your videos is always a process for me. Once I hear an item name or company that I haven’t come across I pause the video and look it up in eBay. Get lost for a bit then come back and unpause until you show something else and repeat. I go down so many rabbit holes of fun stuff thanks to you! 😊
The beautiful scarf being Burger King is hilarious!
I love it! I hope watching it that way gives you a lot more depth of info. I go down a few myself lol
I do the exact same thing! George is such a great teacher. And I love that Burger King scarf. I would wear it!
Me too!
