I bought my CX-30 earlier this year. I am still amazed by it! It's the first -- and only -- vehicle where I feel its amazing premium value. Value? I still feel that I got sooooo much more for my money! It's a joy to drive too. I live in the Silicon Valley (in the San Francisco Bay Area). We take it all over the area as well as trips into the mountains and off-road camping trips. The AWD is surprisingly good.

I am awaiting my ordered CX-30 GT in Canada. I watch a lot of Mazda videos while I wait for my vehicle to arrive. Really good video you have done! It’s very thorough and informative. 👍

Good review as always. Mazda has been underated for decades. I leased a 96 Miata traded in a 1990 Honda Civic hatchback. Lease payment $199/3 years. It was a midlife car purchase in case other men can relate. The Miata was bullit solid for a convertible, sure there was some body shake over railroad tracks but other wise on Tampa Bay roads comfortable for 30 yr old, reliable, excellent 5 spd stick/clutch. CX30 on top of my list to replace a 2015 Camry. At 60 yrs old the CX30 turbo could be the sports car for us with bad backs. lol Enjoyed the review. I'll look at a Cert Pre-Owned model to save some money. Purchased the 2015 Camry with 24k miles CPO, saved 6k with a 1 yr bumper-to-bumper and 7 yr/100k mile Toyota power train warranty. Unless you prefer new, CPO cars are good deals in my opinion. Peace to all car enthusiasts.

Pretty quick for Mazda's car. Mazda's car looks sporty this days. Very good compact crossover for daily drive. Greetings

Beautiful color with the black. Love the interior color. I take the spare tire over the stupid Fix-a-Flat.

Another great video of a very nice SUV bro! You get an awful lot for your money plus I like that, at least here, you don't see too many Mazdas on the road plus is is just a good looking ride!

Thank you for a very complete review. The carbon turbo is the trim I have decided on and I will buy at the end of this year. Liked and subscribed. Thanks again

I think you can get a carbon turbo with the Premium Package which includes Bose and power liftgate. I have a 2022 non-turbo and LOVE the car. My only gripe is the oversprung and underdamped rear suspension. I drove the turbo when I bought my non turbo car and felt the suspension was a let down for the amount of power the turbo puts out.

Don't get the trend with the gloss black wheels, they get dirty quickly and any scratches are super visible. The gas tank size at 12 gallons is it's biggest weakness, you get like 240 miles between refills.

Three questions: (1) Does this model have cylinder deactivation, and can it be turned off? (2) Is the turbo constantly running, or only activated when power is needed? (3) Can the vehicle operate without the turbo if it should fail? I would really appreciate the info, since I’m seriously considering the CX-30 over the CX-5. Really loving the looks of this machine, so THANKS.

I have a 2023 CX-30 premium plus turbo. Awesome car with a lot of power. For the money Mazda should have included cooled front seats not just heat. And a power passenger seat. Otherwise my only other complaint is the seats. The drivers seat Left side bolster is so stiff it causes a lot of discomfort. And i am only 5'5" 160lbs. It was even worse on the signature CX-5. Mazda REALLY needs to look into why the side bolsters are so stiff.

Car makers used to have a fit if you said emergency brake. They say it's a parking brake. In the olden days. Nice vehicle. Which would rate higher, Subaru crosstrek, escape,Volvo xc40 or this? Peace.

I just bought this exact car today! I am not sure if you mentioned the burning smell of plastic, (I didn't hear you mention it) as you break in the engine, but that will go away after a few days according to the dealer. I agree with everything you said about it. It feels so good to drive! Also, I had a BOSE 12 speaker system with subwoofer in my previous car, so the downgrade in audio is disappointing, but not a deal breaker.@@703Speed I highly recommend this car for sure!

@@703SpeedBONUS TIP: You can dial into the audio system menu to adjust the equalizer to fine tune and increase your bass, treble, and each individual frequency.

Currently in the market for cx30, not interested in the turbo model but if I were to get Carbon Edition would get a 2023 Certified. The seat color is awful.

Love Mazda's and have owned quite a few and still own my 93' NA Miata and always will.... but times change and for the better.
For the price of the featured CX-30, I can get a Tesla Model-3 and with fed & state a Model-Y. It is a 'no brainer'. No cognitive overload figuring that out. And the Tesla will just keep giving in so many ways making it a long time better value and reducing your cost per mile down the long road of ownership.

it says online that 2024 Mazda CX-30 in full tank could have a driving range from 279 - 381 miles. But it says on you that its capped at 200 mi. Any idea why? Is it 200 miles in full tank or 279-381miles?

Speaking of carbon. Kudos to Mazda for continuing to research and development of carbon neutral fuels. They are desperately trying to find us an alternative to EV's that will allow choices in the near future while attempting carbon neutrality.
