im oily/acne prone skin and the cerave moisturizing cream worked better for me than the lotion. lighter is not always better. the cream is thick but when used in small amounts and massaged well into skin leaves the skin very well hydrated meanwhile the lotion.. it always makes me greasy
ME TOO every freakin video I see their like I LOVEEE THE LOTION ON MT FACE ITS SO LIGHT AND WATERY meanwhile my face becomes so oily and sticky just with a pea size amount of the lotion while I can have 3 pea sizes of the cream on my face and it doesn’t make me oily or sticky
I am a guy using this product and I had my own thoughts about the differences between the 3 CeraVe products and after listening to this I believe she is spot on. Good video.
I use the foaming plus am and pm moisturizers with no issues but I just started using The Ordinary products so I am going to purchase the moisturizing lotion, to keep it a little more basic and the spf30 as I dont need niacinamide in the Am cause I'm using vitamin c or in the evening because I'm using niacinamide separately with retinol as my new regimen for awhile, also I think the cream will be too heavy for my face but great for the body..tfs ❤
Thanks for this review. Can you do a review on Cetaphil moisturizers as well? I am trying to find a very simple moisturizer that is non-toxic. I have been using Ponds for a decade but they recently changed their formula and it completely created a skin rash that started peeling and my skin became so raw. However, it is healing now that I stopped it. Thank goodness I found that Ponds was the issue and reported it to them. I may have to report it to FDA as well. It is amazing how companies always changed their formula and never inform the public. Then I tried using La Mer and that didn't suit me either - very fragrant which is very irritating. So, I concluded that the more expensive the product is then the more stuff they put in it which increases your chances of getting an allergic reaction. I have been using Cetaphil bar soap for the longest time but never their lotion. So, it would be good to see someone's review on it. However, after watching your vid, I may have to try CeraVe. Thanks!
Great video! I came here because I always use the pm moisturizer but today when I was at CVS they were out of that so I had to get the daily moisturizer. I wanted to see if it was just as good
Hey, are you on TikTok posting from Germany recently? You look kind of familiar and similar to her. How funny to find you when searching cerave reviews. Small works.
@@owenbenedictpangan3553 are you talking about the pm lotion or the regular lotion? Im the same as you but I think the regular lotion is a pretty good deal considering how long you will use it. An average face moisturizer will cost maybe 6-10 dollars at the least, and they come in 1-4 oz bottles typically. The lotion is around the same price as other drugstore face moisturizers but it'll last you for a loooong time. I'm always looking for the best bang for my buck too lol.
4:51. I checked the ingredients on both and did not see Niacinimide in the daily. They’re 97% the exact same product with only a few different ingredients but they jumble them either to confuse consumers and/or it’s concentrations my hierarchy. Either way I was upset. SAME INGREDIENTS. There’s nothing “night time” about it except a marketing committee inventing that. Retinals or Tretinoin are they only things that should (ideally) be night specific.
I've been using the CeraVe PM lotion after I apply Retin-A at night and it burns my skin or makes it feel hot sometimes for a few min. Good to know I'm not the only one. My skin is kind of oily tho so I don't know what else to use. 😭
On the internet i see two types of those ceraVe moisturizers but named a bit differently. "CeraVe Daily moisturizing Lotion" And then it's says it's "for normal to dry skin" "CeraVe moisturizing Lotion" And then it's says it's "for dry to very dry skin" The first one is more known in the US and the second one more in Europe. But is there actually a difference between these two?
That's so interesting! I haven't actually seen or tried the second one, but I'm thinking that's probably more similar to the cream. Checking the ingredients label is probably the best way to see the similarities or differences
Europe formulas and US formulas are a little bit different. I think this might be the reason that there are two names because technically they are two different products.
as u know PM moisturing lotion is really expensive . do i really need to use PM over cerave Daily moisturing lotion( without Nacinamide in it ) while i am using The ordinary naicinamide serum ?Plz adivce this Thanks

Hello should I use my cerave daily moisturizer lotion first before applying my body cream on my face I like to know which one comes first or lightened me on it
Hello, I have oily skin and some acne, however, am I able to use the cerave moisturizing lotion normal to dry skin? Im confused because its normal to dry skin but it does say fragarence free, oil-free, lightweight, non-comedogenic and contain the ceramides and all that good stuff. Im not sure if I am able to use that one or I gotta go with the cerave pm oil free ultra lightweight.
The facial moisturizing lotion is making my dead skin crumble off... idk if that’s supposed to be happening or maybe it’s just the product somehow. I have rly dry skin btw. Does anyone have answers 😭😭😭
I have noticed something similar until I realized that after the lotion I have to wait until it has completely sunk in before putting on my sunscreen. If I don’t, that’s when I get pilling mostly on my forehead. Hope this is useful.
Good video. Not sure if you want advice on how to improve your physical appearance, which is above average, but I would recommend that you get chin surgery..

I wish the cerave for oily has a bigger product
It typically comes in a pump bottle that’s 16oz

I did the same as you though. Bought the regular cerave lotion.
@@owenbenedictpangan3553 you can get the lotion and use a separate niacinimide lotion. That will be like the PM version.
Thanks someone that gets right to it

Very useful comparison
Great video as usual Tawny! I always look forward to your reviews:)
Great video! Where did you get the pump for the CeraVe moisturizing cream?
Sometimes my local walmart sells the containers with the pump! You could also try on amazon!
Target

You might want to try the lotion! I've done that in the past and just used a very small amount so my skin doesn't feel greasy after
The niacinamide in the pm lotion, while a great ingredient can be non tolerant. Try the regular cerave lotion.
Which is better for oily skin prone to dryness in winter ?
Which one is better for close comedones sensitive acne prone skin???
PM moisturizer probably best for closed comedones but if that stings you then I'd go with the lotion! (avoid the cream)

is the pm lotion non comodogenic?
Yes it is
Do they contain paraben ? Fragrance ?
the daily moisturizing lotion is the only one that contain paraben but the rest is paraben free.
Pls wich one is good for brack skin helpe
Pls which is better for dry skin with acne? Plssss respond 🙏🙏🙏

Hello should I use my cerave daily moisturizer lotion first before applying my body cream on my face I like to know which one comes first or lightened me on it
I only use one or the other on my face! Usually apply on my face before body as I am more concerned with flakiness on my face.

You could try using less product on damp or wet skin😊
Can you put cerave moisturing lotion In a mini freezer
I wouldn't put it in a freezer, but a fridge instead

Yah
is it good i want buy it

Actually you should use the cream one since you're really dry because the lotion one is meant for some who has a combo skin
Can I use PM moisture in the day time with plus sunscreen
