I'm a little late to be commenting but I've gone down a rabbit hole of all your videos 🤣 that SA moisturiser is also amazing to put on any areas after shaving. Because of the ingredients it helps keep the skin really smooth and helps prevent any ingrown hairs. 🙌🏼 just a little tip for anyone interested in the product ☺️
I recently talked to my best friend about Cerave again and that we both are interested in buying products. It's good to have a video where you can actually see the consistency of the product!
I use both the lotion and cream. I use the lotion under makeup during the day (before sunscreen of course). And on nights when I'm not using a retinol, I use the lotion right after washing my face (while it's still wet or humid) so that it sinks into the skin deeper and hydrates, and then use the moisturizing cream on top to seal it.
Back In 2015 I was diagnosed with eczema on my legs and my hand, the doctor gave me the Cerave daily moisturising lotion to apply everytime, and the results is just 🤯 amazing. Maybe because it was a lotion, after a while it doesn't feel like I had anything on my skin but my skin really reallyyy reallyyy improve a lot. I never try it on my face because I thought I can't do that😂. After watch this video I got so many knowledges about the Cerave products, thank you 💕
Oh wow thats interesting to hear you dont find it too heavy for your skin. Love the foaming cleanser! Works well for me even though my skin is on the drier side.
I have oily skin and use the moisture cream since it’s fungal acne safe. I use very little in my dry spots of my face and gently tap the excess on my eyes, forehead and cheeks. I absolutely love it, it’s hydrating but stays mat during the morning. I don’t use it in the morning all the time though. Only when I feel like my skins needs a little boost in hydration. ❤️✨
I have VERY dry skin (and eczema), I bought the CeraVe Moisturising cream yesterday and I love the texture and feeling when applying 🙏🏽❤️ Hugs from Sweden ❤️
I was fairly new to skincare and went in too vigorously with the actives (Lack of knowledge on my part), my skin had a large tantrum (Adult acne which I'd never had in my life) and so I went back to basics but, my skin was showing no improvement. I did a bit of research and found this video, decided to try the CeraVe Moisturising Cream - there was improvement within 3 days. I couldn't believe it, in 3 days it had calmed down so much. It's been almost 2wks now and no new spots have popped up and, what I had has gone. I've changed my whole outlook in regards to what works for me and what I think I would like (The more luxurious and more expensive) to use, and just stick with what my skin likes. Great videos, really like the detailed information - you helped save my face.
Hey Kym! Thanks so much for leaving this comment, I'm so happy to hear that the cerave cream worked for you. I filmed this video a while and I still use that cream almost daily, its so so good. Yes I've been there myself! Went too hard with actives and had to learn the hard way haha.
You are very correct about the ceraVe moisturising lotion, it didn't do the work well for my kids too, which made me to add some little of almond oil to it before applying it, I think i will go for the cream in my next buying.. Thanks for your explanation👍👏
I also noticed that the order of the active ingredients in the cream is higher, implying that the cream is more concentrated and therefore more efficient.
thank you so much for this extremely informational and easy-to-understand video :>> i admire how you respond to every comment here, you are so dedicated to helping your viewers. i'm looking up comparisons between the cream and lotion because i'm trying to pick one from their SA line for my mild keratosis pilaris :(( wish me luck!
I have dry skin, and the lotion works for me. I apply it on wet or damp skin just on it's own most of the time. And sometimes I wait for it to dry half way and add another thin layer. I find it's made my skin less dry over time! I wonder if it would work if you used it that way! Also, I love seeing an aussie on youtube with a skincare channel
Ahh ok thats a good way to use it! I just really prefer a thicker more occlusive moisturiser but I like the lotion for day time under sunscreen. It also works really for me as a body moisturiser. Thanks for the support xx
thanQ so much u solve my problem... i‘ve just bought cerave moisturizing lotion bt after when i saw it wrote dry to very dry skin 🙁 I thaught i waste my money ... My skin is oily n hav a acne problem
This video really nudged me to get the cream! Thankss!! 😄🌸 I tried the cerave pm moisturiser but its too lightweight for my normal to dry skin. Do u have any recommendations for moisturisers with niacinamide ?
hey razia!! hope lockdown is going well so far lol. have you tried the facial moisturising lotion? do you reckon it’s better than the normal lotion? i was also wondering, since i can’t find any info on the percentages of specific ingredients in the product (i think you mentioned the SA cleanser was 0.5% in one of your vids) where you got this info from. i’d love to know how much niacinamide is in the lotion!! thank you!!
Hey! I have tried that one recently, its quite similar to the normal lotion. I'd say the normal lotion is more watery, and theres some slight difference in ingredients as well, but nothing major. At the time when I mentioned the SA percentage it was specified on the Cerave website but I think they've changed that and now they dont specify. As for the Niacinamide they never listed a % for that one so I cant say sorry. Hope this helps ☺️
For dry skin the moisturising cream is better in the tube or big tub. The huuuugd tub will last forever lol It has ceramides very good dermatologist approved.
I think you're applying it wrong. I apply mine on a damp skin and it wooorrkkss 🤣 i used to put it on dry face after cleansing but it dries out my skin the next day. So i followed Dr. Dray's suggestion and it applies better on damp skin 😊
I’m using the moisturising cream in the tub and the gentle cleanser :) I’m oily skin and started using tretinoin so switched to a gentle cleanser. What are your favourite cleaners for oily skin?
Thank you!!! This was very helpful. I was on another review of the SA cream and she said that alcohol was an ingredient that can damage your skin barrier so if I use the SA should I use it in combination with the moisturizing cream? (I have dry/ rough skin)
No problem! Yes alcohol can be damaging in high amounts but I wouldn't worry about it in this product because there's so many hydrating ingredients to compensate for this like urea, glycerin and shea butter.
Late to the party, but i WOULD love to know if the CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion (Dry to Very Dry Skin) is suitable for acne-prone (blackheads) skin types?! I saw that it has 'Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate' as the 10th ingredient in the list, which is around 0-4 on the comedogenic scale.. I have combo to oily skin so I'm worried about having to deal with more clogged pores and blackheads while using it.
On the internet i see two types of those ceraVe moisturizers but named a bit differently. "CeraVe Daily moisturizing Lotion" And then it's says it's "for normal to dry skin" "CeraVe moisturizing Lotion" And then it's says it's "for dry to very dry skin" The first one is more known in the US and the second one more in Europe. But is there actually a difference between these two?
I've noticed sometimes companies release the same product worldwide but it goes by different names in different countries and sometime even has slight differences in the ingredients list. The Cerave Hyaluronic Acid serum is like this as well. Different ingredients in the AUS one compared to US one. I think that's the case here as well. From what I can see theres just small differences in the ingredients. Nothing major. Hope that helps.
i have dry sensitive skin and have small bumps on my face ,can i use the sa smoothing cream on my face ? how many times can i use ?? i am using 5% mandelic acid 2 times a week for last one month & i have never used any exfoliator before it,so can i use sa cream after using the mandelic acid ??
Yes you could try the SA cream to help with your bumps. Try it out and see how you go. Its a low amount of SA so it's fine to use daily. Yes also fine to use this cream after mandelic acid.
Hi love your video thank you for the info! I have recently bought the SA smoothing cream and I am not sure how to apply it. Should it just go onto dry skin or should the skin be wet/damp? I have really bad red bumps on my legs so I’m trying to use it to get rid of that. I applied it to dry skin and it stings a little bit and it also started to flake off after about 10 minutes. The tub does say it’s an exfoliator so I didn’t know if I was then meant to rub this off? xx
Hey thanks for watching! I personally like applying cream to slightly damp skin so maybe try that out and see how you go. I have another video on strawberry skin/ keratosis pilaris if you want to check that out :) th-cam.com/video/d_8QWetFMlE/w-d-xo.html I think it sounds like it might be pilling off, try applying to damp skin and apply a small amount and see how that goes xx
Hi Is Cerave Moisterizing cream has white cask on face after applied like sunscreen? I have dry skin and very confused which one should i buy...any reccomendation?
The moisturising cream is perfect for dry skin. If you find it leaves a white cast you might be applying too much or not rubbing it into the skin enough.
Hlo I lov you videos. I have normal dry skin some time I feel it’s very rough. After watching your videos I been started using cerave products I love it but still I’m confused which products exactly I have to use I started with cleanser night cream day Moisturizer vitamin c eye cream and sunscreen. But I have dark circle could you please help me to choose another acid for dark sports from ordinary. Thanks 🙏
Hi Monika, thanks for the support! The products and routine you're using sound great! For dark spots, vit c works great, it does take time so stay consistent and you should see results. Another product you can try for dark spots is Azelaic Acid from The Ordinary as well. Use this at night before applying moisturiser. Hope this helps. You can DM me on Instagram @raziamoe if you have any more questions!
Dear Sir, I am a boy, I am 32 years old, I am not married, I work a lot in the sun, I have become very dark now, what is the best product for boys in your company?
Salaams.. I hope you read this.. I recently bought the cera ve cleanser and lotion and wanted to know if they're Halaal to use? Whilst reading the ingredients I noticed they both contain Glycerin and Cholesterol from an unknown source as well as Cetearyl Alcohol and Cetyl Alcohol.. I'm very confused as to whether or not I, as a Muslim can use said products.. Please let me know if it is from an Islamic perspective ❤ JazakAllah
I wanna use that lotion one with cerave SA smoothing cleanser. I have never used any products from cerave before and I have combination skin and I don't have acne, I'm 18 but I'm scared what if using both of them cause purging? should I try them or not?
I have combination skin and need some oil in my moisturizer but none of the cerave have it in the ingredient list, how can the cream work for dry skin?
i have combination skin but more to oily skin. im interested to buy the cerave moisturizing lotion. can i use the lotion after i put toner consists of vitC on my face? is it ok to mix vitamin c with ceramide?
Hello! I noticed that cerave has 2 labels when it comes to their lotion. One is daily moisturizing lotion (normal to dry skin), and another one is moisturizing lotion (normal to very dry skin). Does the texture differs though?
Hi I have normal skin , can I use the cerave daily moisturizing lotion dry to very dry for my skin , since the normal to dry is very hard to find in the uk
Hi! I’m 17 y.o and i have acne skin+red acne marks on my cheeks. My skin is normal-dry and idk which one is better for my acne skin. Which cerave moisturizer would u recommend for me that wont break me out or cause more irritation?❤️ also which cerave cleanser would u recommend for me😅 i used to use the foaming cleaser but my skin felt dry after using it. I don’t if its better for me or the SA or the hydrating one is better for my skin? I’m using the La roche posay effaclar cleanser (the blue one not the white) and after washing it off my skin feels really dry around my mouth and nose. Also, i have just realized that it has a strong fragrance in it which might be bad for my acne skin. Thats why i wanna use a cerave one
Hey! Cerave have a new cleanser, Cream to Foam cleanser. I demonstrate it in my latest video if you're interested. I think it may be a good option for you and its fragrance free! For moisturiser The Cerave Moisturising Cream is very good for dry skin. I hope this helps you out!
@@Rachel-sc8pn Yes that one is good for acne but since you say your skin dries out from cleansers, that one may be too drying for you. Do you use any other products in your routine for acne?
@@raziamoe yes, first i cleanse with the LRP effaclar purifying cleanser, then the ordinary alpha arbutin+HA serum then cerave moisturizer. And i use the niacinmide serum 3 times a week. When i get new pimple i put fucidin cream on it. Also, i use the la roche posay effaclar k+ cream at night on my whole face. I just need a good cleanser and moisturizer. And I’m planning to buy the bioderma aquafluid 50 spf but idk if i should buy the tinted or untinted one
I have super oily skin...and i want to use cerave moisturising lotion..so which cerave lotion will perfectly work in my oily skin? 1.Dry to very dry skin.. 2. Oily to dry skin 3. Normal to dry skin
@@tasmiahah did you notice any clogged pores/blackheads after you started using it? i have the same skin type as yours and i guess im a bit paranoid since it says dry to very dry skin..
Hi can you help me i use cerave hydrating clenaser and then moisturizer cream cerave also and nothing else can you tell me about your routine what you use else i have combination skin!!
Hmm good question! I think this cream was specifically made for treating dry/ irritated skin, especially as it contains urea which is very helpful for dry skin conditions. It's also quite thick and almost balm-like which generally isn't the best for oilier/ acne prone skin. For treating acne you're better off using treatment products specifically for your acne instead. Hope that helps!
I have hella dry skin im 10 years old almost 11 this really helped do u think it's good for me to get the moisturizing cream hugs from bridge of earn Perth uk
I have very dry skin the flakes around my forehead and brows and have acne wat do u think I should use I’ve used everything under the sun I even ur olive oil on my face but even that’s not working anymore
I have dry skin and I use cerave cream on damp skin let it dry then I put a thin layer of Vaseline .... I use to use the cerave healing ointment in place of the Vaseline but I wanted to cut my budget down a bit so I used Vaseline instead and it works but I live in the Caribbean so it’s humid for me . Hope that helps
I have dry and sensitive skin so I ordered the lotion instead of the cream as I heard some bad reviews about the cream, saying they got pimples from it or rashes so that put me off... and the petroleum put me off as I have applied petroleum one time on my face and I got spots from it.
The cream is more thick and occlusive and is better for dry skin. Yes it contains some petrolatum which works very well for dry skin. Maybe try it out? Petrolatum in a moisturiser is different to using straight vaseline. And everyone reacts differently to products. Some people may react, doesn't necessarily mean you will as well. Always worth a try :)
Cerave moisturising cream work wonder for my skin! But my only concern is, does this product contain any animal derived or not. I'm worried about that the most.
Hi razia, Ive been getting tiny bumps on my face since I’ve used Hyaluronic serum and the foaming cleanser from cerave... im confused how to get rid of these Please help
Hi i’m no skincare expert but maybe you should look up on the SA smoothing cleanser or sa renewing cleanser from cerave and use it with the ordinary lactic acid 10%+HA or the salicylic acid from the ordinary. This will probably get rid of the tiny bumps on your face. But you should watch the reviews and some TH-cam videos first to make sure these are suitable for your skintype. I hope this helped!!
Loved this! So great seeing a hijabi in the skincare space, and Aussie tooo!! 🥳🥳

Does it feel sticky? Because I tried the lotion, but for some reason it left my skin feeling irritated and wrinkly for some reason, and sticky.
I totally agree with the lotion not being suitable for dry skin. I now just use it on my neck and décolletage after I have used a mild exfoliate.

Can i use sa cream for my face? I have dry tho combination skin.
Hello! I noticed that cerave has 2 labels when it comes to their lotion. One is daily moisturizing lotion (normal to dry skin), and another one is moisturizing lotion (normal to very dry skin). Does the texture differs though?
Yes they are two different products! Honestly I haven't tried the daily moisturising lotion so I cant say about the texture sorry!
Yeah i have noticed that too...i am confuse now which to buy?
Yeah the moisturising lotion I use is the one for dry to extra dry skin.
Does it clog the pores ?? Hope not
No it doesn't :)
In the uk it’s moisturising lotion but in the us it’s daily moisturising lotion
Yes its defiantly less greasy than the bondi sands, it has a satin matte finish. I prefer the dermaveen one
@@raziamoe I was actually confused cuz i thought that the cerave SA cleanser is better for acne. Thank u sm for replying tho!🥰
What is better for KP
The SA cream is good for KP

Hi thanks for watching, my most recent video is all about my routine. If you check that out hopefully it can help❤️
@@raziamoe thanks :*
Is cera VE SA smoothing cream good for acne prone skin as it has got salicylic acid and niacinamide
I'm pretty sure they have an sa lotion which coud be better for oilier skin types!
Thank u so much🥰🥰
@@sambridhishahi4263 No problem!
Can i use this cream after essence and for day and night?
Yes you can!
Can oily skin use cerave cream ?
I personally think the lotion works better for oily skin because the cream is quite thick. But you can try it out and see if it works for you.

Hi..im 14 years old..i have combination skin..can i use this cera ve moistrizing lotion for my face after applying toner..
Hey thanks for watching! Yes you can definitely use the lotion after toner :)
@@tyraheadley9680 Thankyou ❤️
I have dry and sensitive skin so I ordered the lotion instead of the cream as I heard some bad reviews about the cream, saying they got pimples from it or rashes so that put me off... and the petroleum put me off as I have applied petroleum one time on my face and I got spots from it.
I thought the lotion is for oily skin?
The cream is more thick and occlusive and is better for dry skin. Yes it contains some petrolatum which works very well for dry skin. Maybe try it out? Petrolatum in a moisturiser is different to using straight vaseline. And everyone reacts differently to products. Some people may react, doesn't necessarily mean you will as well. Always worth a try :)
Yes its not hydrating enough for dry skin. The lotion is very lightweight so perfect for oily skin.
@@raziamoe I have ordered the cream for my skin and thank you so much for the video, it helps a lot!
Is cerave products halal.?
When we after cleanser the face we should apply like cream or lotion cerave
Cream is for the face and lotion is for the body and hands :) they both could be used for anything though it just prefers which one you like
Yes after cleanser apply moisturiser or lotion
Can 12years girls use CeraVe moisturizing cream plz reply me
Yes of course. This cream is suitable for all ages
Does cerave moisturising lotion comedogenic?can it cause clogged pores?
Its non- comodogenic. Won't clog your pores :)
@@raziamoe thnks for the respon^_^
Seeing you using it that means there is no haram stuff in it right? Because I'm usually cautious about things like these.
I have no reason to believe these have anything haram in them. Not advising, do your own research if you have your doubts.
@@raziamoe Thank you.
Cerave moisturising cream work wonder for my skin! But my only concern is, does this product contain any animal derived or not. I'm worried about that the most.
Are cerave products halal?
Pls make review for Axis Y skincare by Korea
Hi. I have combination skin and I'm confused which one to buy. Can you help me out plesse
I think the lotion will work for combo skin as the cream may be too thick. Try that one and see how you go 😊
Is cerave halal
Is CeraVe halal or haram??
Hi razia,
Ive been getting tiny bumps on my face since I’ve used Hyaluronic serum and the foaming cleanser from cerave... im confused how to get rid of these
Please help
Hi i’m no skincare expert but maybe you should look up on the SA smoothing cleanser or sa renewing cleanser from cerave and use it with the ordinary lactic acid 10%+HA or the salicylic acid from the ordinary. This will probably get rid of the tiny bumps on your face. But you should watch the reviews and some TH-cam videos first to make sure these are suitable for your skintype. I hope this helped!!
i love the SA cream but it fr smells so bad lol
Loll really? Mine doesn't have much of a smell tbh 😄
