I have recently become a full-fledged CeraVe addict! 😆 I used to avoid their products because I found them rather boring. But now they are saving my life. I have combo skin that leans very dry and sensitive right now because I have been on Tretinon for the past 3 months. I couldn’t find a moisturizer that would work with my skin other than Avene (and I found Avene too expensive for every day use in the amounts that I’m going through moisturizer right now). UNTIL I tried CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. It’s literally a moisturizing hug for my face! 😆 It doesn’t irritate, hydrates my skin and keeps the dry, irritated flakiness at bay. And it’s like less than $20 for a huge jug of it. I can’t be without it this winter. Love.

I definitely enjoyed this video as I was curious about all other CeraVe products I’ve never used before. I’ve used the PM night cream and loved it!!! I’m on the same page about AM cream. I may not like how it blends into my skin but I’m planning to use it all until it’s gone! I use moisturizing cream for my neck, hands, and body!! I’ll definitely buy the purple night cream next when I’m done using with PM moisturizer!! Can’t wait to try it!!
I LOVE the PM facial moisturizer per your recommendation! I have combo/oily skin and the PM moisturizer is light weight for daily use, keeps me matte yet still hydrated and wears beautifully under makeup - seriously the best! I’ve used it at night too and it’s great!

The Cerave Baby lotion (not creme)
Is basically the same as Cerave PM
But more cost effective (8oz/9.99)
It also has Niacinimide pretty high up and has a fairly matte finish and is non-comoedogenic it does have a thicker formulation but it feels good!
I love it for my oily/acne prone skin at night :)

For my face I use the Daily lotion on my normal leaning towards slightly oily skin and for the body I love the cream I like how it dries down kind of matte.

When you are discussing so many products I often forget which product you (and all other TH-camrs) are talking about. Could you display the product name you are discussing in (maybe) the upper left corner? As you move to the next product then display that name and so on. Great videos and so much good information.
I use the cerave cream on my body (good all-over body moisturizer), SA lotion/cream on my body (backs of arms) and the itch lotion on my legs (when they are itchy from shaving). cerave lotion can also be good to apply over a serum or treatment (because it's so simple).

I spent 4 months in the hospital and the anti-itch cream was a lifesaver. I had a constant itch on the side I spent most of my time on and it REALLY helped.

I rely on multiple of their products for my extremely sensitive and acne prone skin. It's not exciting skincare, but it's what I can depend on. It sucks it's gotten popular on social media. Makes it hard to track down products I need to maintain my multiple skin conditions that I don't have alternate options for that work for me. Everything is starting to be sold out all the time now. I can't use La Roche Posay due to their obsession with niacinamide and cant use Vanicream because I'm sensitive to the preservative they use. Cetaphil got obsessed with plant oils like macadamia and avocado which break my face out.

I have a question, i’ve really loved all your CeraVe reviews and have made a simple routine, and i use the PM moisturizer twice a day. i have combo/oily/acne prone skin and I like that on my skin i’m the morning, but i would like something slightly thicker for night time. is the lightweight Moisturizing Lotion for face or mostly for body? Would it make your face very oily? Thanks! 😄
I have super oily skin & LOVE the Moisturizing Cream! I feel that the thickness of it makes my skin just feel so good. Also, I no longer wake up with slick oily skin in the morning.
Me too.I have super oily skin and for the longest I thought it was just that but after thinking about it i came to the conclusion that it’s oily and dehydrated which made more oily.I was a review and the man said it has a matte finish so i decided to try it cause it would hydrate my skin and make me not look oily cause i was using the lotion.It changed my skin for the better!!
I kind of noticed something similar. Hydrating gels makes my skin sticky but the cream for dry skin gives it a matte and silky kind of feeling. Definitely better then hydrating gel formulars. I am still looking for a moisturizer that fits me and this gives me hope again.

Totally agree that the Cerave AM is not great! I have noticed such a white cast. I'm surprised because all of their other products are great. Hoping they come out with something similar but better!
The daily moisturizing lotion is best suited for under makeup. But for nights when I'm not using a Retinol or for people with really dry skin I would recommend putting it on immediately after washing while the skin is still wet and then put the moisturizing cream on top to sort of seal it. I understand that people want to only use one product but depending on the situation, or what your plans for the day are, you are going to need different products. Same goes for cleansers. A person should use a different cleanser on days when they don't wear makeup compared to days when you do. There is not one product that will be perfect for every occasion.
Bizarre observation, the moisturizing lotion works just fine on my face, but the moisturizing cream leaves a "warming" feeling on my cheeks that absolutely freaks me out. 🥴
The SA cream is handy for my body though! I use it for preventing ingrown hairs and taking the edge off my keratosis pilaris.
The Skin Renewing Night Cream is my absolute favorite night moisturizer, at the end of the day after doing my nighttime skincare it just gives this wonderful smoothing soft glow to the skin. I have tried other “fancier” moisturizers and I go back to this as it has a more luxurious feel. I have oily skin, slightly combo leaning in the winter.
I use the Moisturizing Cream as a body moisturizer. I have patches of psoriasis on my lower legs. I use this morning and night and use the Healing Ointment on the “patches” only in a very thin layer on top of the cream and it has been the only thing that has been able to manage my psoriasis when even steroids weren’t effective.
I’ll also use the Healing Ointment as a lip balm, for “slugging” if I’m needing some extra care typically cheeks and chin, and on dry rough areas of my feet. It has absolutely replaced Aquaphor in my life as the go to skin issue fix.
I use the healing ointment for my lips too! I scooped some in little containers so I could have it on the go.
I love the cerave moisturizing cream. It’s one of the thicker ones. I use it at night and it works wonders for my skin

I've tried the pm, daily moisturizing lotion, daily moisturizing cream, so far the pm is the best and lightest consistency + the added 4% Niacinamide. The daily moisturizing lotion doesn't get absorbs easily. The cream one is just fine. I've heard the baby lotion has more good ingredients than the rest.
Hello just found your video because I was confused about all the creams haha I was wondering if you feel like the moisturisers are greasy or not enough absorbent cuz I hate that in cream and many creams for dry skin did that for me in the past. I have dry, flaky skin and Im prone to pimples/ingrown hair at some spots on my body. Please which one would you recommend?

sorry off topic not sure if you have a video on this... but i have dry skin & had a really harsh (lots of flaking) reaction to tretinoin .05. Do you think using differin and then transitioning to tretinoin will help?

I love the cerave skin renewing night cream as it’s one of the only cerave products that doesn’t give my skin negative reactions (I.e, burning, rashes, stinging, breakouts etc) HOWEVER i do feel like it’s a bit dry if that makes sense? It’s almost like too fast drying and pills easily sometimes which is quite annoying. Also I have had extreme reactions once before using this after using another active ingredient product, I can’t remember if it was witch hazel or my prescription clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide, but safe to say I think something reacted with it (prob w the niacinamide) and gave me big raised hive type welts like with the jagged edges, so maybe use it alone lol, I will say it’s a great makeup primer though and really fills in any forehead wrinkles just don’t rub it too much bc u might make it pill!
I have textured skin, would you the SA cleanser or moisturizer is more affecting is getting rid of textured skin?

Can I use the ointment with tretinoin? I’ve tried the tretinoin .025% a few times in the past and had peeling skin after one use and stopped every time. Will this help?

What is your opinion on shiseido bio performance advance super revitalizing cream? I just started my tretinion journey and have been using it under this cream. If you’re not going to be in direct sun, and if you’re able to reapply throughout the day, it’s possible the Ultra Light would do the job, but it doesn’t looks like the Avobenzone is well-stabilized, so it’ll degrade fast, which is why another layer of a stabilized (and probably higher) spf is safer

i have extremely dry skin. i find using the daily moisturizing lotion was drying initially, but since it sinks into the skin very well, it is extremely helpful to have it moisturize the bottom layer of my skin. i initially use this (trying to use it up) then add the thicker moisturizing cream to cover the top layer of my skin. i find my skin normalized over time with the 2 combined, to the point that i now don't need the cream anymore, or maybe only need it for certain days in the winter. i would suggest don't write the daily lotion off until your skin have enough time to get used to it.

The PM moisturizer sometimes stings around my nose, my eyes and lips... thought it was the niacinamide, but I use the inkey list pure niacinamide serum and that doesnt sting 🤔🤷🏻♀️🤔

I just watched a video from this so called expert singing the praises of the cerave moisturizer, now, it's not her favorite..hmm. this all should be so simple, its like they keep u confused, so they can make another video that is way too long.
Skin changes. No one is forcing you to buy what they personally like and works for them. She also places a disclaimer stating she’s not a professional so if you go out and buy something she likes, don’t blame her if it doesn’t work for you. If you want to know if something will work for you consider going to a derm or doing trial and error like every other consumer.
